CHAPTER 39 | Do Your Best

This morning went on as usual, Sam was busy with his work that was quite piled up and I always woke up early to prepare all the needs of my husband on that day, take care of the children and take care of myself. The morning when I finished cooking my family breakfast, Sam came out of the room quite tired. The black circle in his eyes said that Sam really felt tired and needed more rest than this. The piling up projects and other work affairs will not give Sam time to rest longer.

I pulled up a chair for Sam to sit down and prepare a plate and get him breakfast for that morning. I always prepare the best for my family. I won't let my family get malnourished or eat unhealthy food at home.

“Eat Sam, then get ready to go to the office.” Excited while taking a glass of water for Sam.

This morning was like walking very fast. Without saying much Sam finished his breakfast and rushed to take a shower to prepare to leave for the office. No matter how busy he is, no matter how tired or sick he is, Sam still faces everything with a smile to encourage himself.

Sam got out of the car and headed straight for his office on the tenth floor.

“Happy paagi all.” Say hello to Sam when the elevator door opens.

“Morning sir Sam” Reply employees alternately.

Sam entered his room, sat down and started working with glasses on his face. One by one the documents on his desk were opened and signed. Now the two of them have arrived and Sam can tell the purpose of inviting the two of them to come to the office this morning.

“Alright, you've all arrived. How are you doing right now?” Ask Sam

The two of them just smiled and answered Sam's question very gently.

“I'm good Sir.” Answer Bela.

“I was so pak” replied Mr. Satrio.

“Alright then. My goal to have you two come here is to have you pay off your debt to me from the end of this month” Excited Sam with a serious face.

They both fell under Sam's feet. Sam's tears began to drip looking at them like this, seeing them cry until they fell down like this proves that the state of the peacock is really not good.

Bela and Mr. Satrio came out of Sam's room while wiping away his tears, they walked out and left Sam's office, all eyes still fixed on them , cynical and intimidating looks remained. But Bela and Mr. Satrio ignored them as Mr. Sam told them.

The waiter left and Meli could continue, he said.
