CHAPTER 62 | Child to Two?

Ken was surprised by the statement from his father that he did not expect he would hear so soon. Soon he looked back at his father with a face of surprise and disbelief.

I can see Ken's happy facial expression when papa gives him what he wants from his own hard work. A smile continued to adorn his face even until this lunch was over.

“Papa, Ken has to go back to the office”, he said with a smile.

As soon as Ken said goodbye, he headed to his car and returned to the office. Ken's happy aura continued to radiate from his face from his home all the way to his office. I was still at home to spend time with my in-laws.

“Mama, Rein alone cleaned the table. Mama just rest”, I said.

Every grandfather in the world would also miss being able to play with their grandchildren. Once again I saw Papa's happy face when he could play with his favorite grandson.

“Mira is indeed the child of happiness. Ken just did not want to be separated from Mira and now I think papa is also so”. I keep staring at the happy Mira.

“Because it's quick to make your papa a grandson so that mama and papa can be happier again”, said mama teasing me.

“How much does mom want? Sam's gonna try to screw him up. Isn't that so dear?”. Said Sam while kissing my forehead.

I looked at Sam while frowning and frowning. Even though I have been married to him for a long time, I am still not used to the way he teases me, which always manages to make my heart race quickly to hear every temptation.

“Alright, I have to go now. Jang's coming home too late, baby. I missu”. Sam said with back teasing me while blinking one of his eyes.

After joking with me Sam headed to his car and immediately returned to the office while I went in with my mom to help him clean up the dining table before I finally went home.

“Mama just play with Mira. Let Rein take care of all this, there is also an aunt who will help Rein”. I said while carrying some dishes that my mother brought.

“Is it really okay?”, mama asked.

“Rein will clear this up. Mama relaxes with papa and plays with Mira”, I said smiling.

Mama left me and immediately sat next to my dad and played with Mira. Mira's loud laughing voice was heard by me even when I was in the kitchen. I can imagine how happy my two in-laws were playing with Mira.

Finished cleaning the kitchen and dining table I followed Mira who was being hugged by papa to sleep. Time showed at four in the afternoon and I had to go home soon to prepare dinner at home. I took my bag and tried to take Mira from papa's arms.

“Rein should you go home now?”. Ask papa while continuing to hold and swing her body slowly.

I could see the face of my mother who went from happy to a little disappointed because I had to bring Mira home. Want to feel linger at home because they are very happy with Mira in this house.

“Often come Rein often or we will feel lonely without Mira”. Mama said.

I nodded as I slowly took Mira from the arms of my sleeping father. Kissing my hand to my in-laws, I immediately bid farewell and hugged those who also kissed the sleeping Mira.

“Rein home mom, papa”. I said as I carried Mira and left immediately.

Ken tried to contact Laura earlier but there was no answer from her. Intentions want to give happy news to him but it looks like he has to postpone it because the work piles up and there is no way Ken only focuses on Laura.

“What's up?. Why can't he be contacted since?”, Ken said as he signed the documents before him.

The text message left by Ken was also never answered by Laura which made Ken difficult to concentrate this time. Many times he looked at his phone to make sure the message had been read or not by Laura but until now there was no reply from him.

“Really? Was he so busy that he ignored all my calls and messages? Didn't you know I miss him so much? I also have happy news for him. Ahhe.. Should I catch up to her current apartment?”, her scolding.

Ken decided to go home early and rest his body and mind tonight. Trying to keep himself from making a mistake, Ken goes home to his apartment and still tries to contact his girlfriend.

Slowly bad thoughts about Laura filled his head that made him start to fidget and think that he did not. Ken tried to calm himself while walking around and waiting for a reply from Laura.

“Ah.. Damnit. My phone mati”. He said while trying to turn on his phone

“May there be nothing important tonight”, I hope in my heart.

“You good?”. Ask the man driving next to Laura.

“Hmm.. I’m good”, Laura replied briefly.

“It looks like tonight we can only visit the jewelry store. It's okay?”, asked the man while driving.

“Just whatever”, Laura replied briefly.

Laura entered the jewelry store while seeing how beautiful all the jewelry in the store while occasionally trying out some jewelry that she liked. Before long the man held something around Laura's neck that left her a little surprised.

“How about this? You like it?”, asked the man.

Laura looked at herself in the mirror while looking at the necklace attached to her neck and she nodded with a smile. A few employees smiled looking at Laura and the man beside her who was very handsome.

“Look at the man. Isn't he very handsome?”, said one employee to another employee.

“We take this one? Or do you want to choose a better one?”, the man asked Laura.
