CHAPTER 63 | Who Is He?

Days change, from Ken's luxurious apartment he sits while staring at the screen of his cell phone hoping for an answer from Laura who has been waiting for him since last night. Along with a cup of coffee in front of him while putting on a disappointed face, Ken tried once again to contact his lover, Laura.

Laura still didn't answer. Now Ken's mind is pretty messed up and it's like ruining his morning. He threw himself on the sofa while sighing deeply and covering his face with both hands.

A moment after Ken walked out of his room, all his employees were silent and no one dared to look at the angry Ken. With a regretful look Ken covered his face then squeezed the plastic glass that was next to him.

“I shouldn't be angry just because of a little problem like this. It's all my fault for mixing personal affairs into work. Ah.. I was so stupid”, he said regretfully.

Ken pulls out his phone and he sees a notification that Laura has replied to his message a few minutes ago . His chaotic heart condition made him not care about the contents of the reply from Laura. Ken closed his eyes for a moment to calm his mind before he finally returned to his room for work.

“Just because Laura I vented my frustration on my employees. Today I was so bad”, he said as he looked up at the sky.

In other situations Laura who was working with her computer turned on occasionally tried to look at her phone screen to see if Ken had replied to her message or not. But he did not get any reply from Ken, trying to continue to focus on his work but his eyes could not be separated from the screen of the phone right next to him.

“What is this? Was Ken mad at me just because I just got back at his message last night? Didn't I tell you that my phone is dead and I didn't know that he called me?”, the grunt.

Ken came down from the roof to his room, along with his regrets Ken wanted to treat his employees to dinner at a restaurant at six in the afternoon after returning home to make up for his already angry mistakes with a little outrageous.

“Everything, after work let's have dinner together. Whatever you eat I will pay for it”, said Ken with a smile.

The officers were very happy to hear Ken was going to treat them. After learning that they were going to have dinner together, they got more active in their work and tried to complete their responsibilities entirely today so that they did not have the burden when they had dinner together.

Minutes changed and the employees looked impatient for dinner together in a moment. Several times they looked towards the clock attached to the wall while waiting for the time the office came home.

That night they all partied and Ken paid for whatever they ate. The look on their very happy faces makes Ken also feel happy with them, too, ken's goal is to get them all to dinner in a nice place not only as his apology for letting out explosive emotions but his main goal is to vent his frustration towards Laura.

Their long enough time spent eating together to not feel the day began late indicates that they have to go home to return to work tomorrow. “Ah.. No. gabe. I just got home from dinner with the office employees.”, he replied

Ken and Laura were silent for a few moments without any more conversation and made Laura feel that her call was a little disturbing because she felt Ken was quite tired tonight.

“Alright, rest Ken”, said Laura a little disappointed.

While Laura was talking to Ken, a tall and big man came to Laura's room with some food in his hand.

The man's words were unintentionally heard by Ken because his voice was loud enough to call Laura's name. Soon Laura hinted at the man to be quiet while he was talking to Ken, his girlfriend.

“Who is that? You were with another guy this late?”, asked Ken suspiciously
