CHAPTER 69 | At Last You Are Home

Accompanied by a cup of coffee, I tried to take my mind off everything Rey had to do. I took a deep breath and tried to entertain myself by shopping online. Before long I heard Meli's horn sounding. He wanted to be with me today because I told him that my body was not okay.

“Rein. I brought you some fruit. Looks like being a housewife is very tiring”. Maeli said, carrying a fruit basket in her hand and sitting next to me.

“Last month? Rein is now at the end of the month. Better just check”. Meli said by peeling the fruit she brought for me.

I was planning on telling Meli what I was thinking but I broke my intentions because I knew if I told Meli she would worry about me. But if I don't tell you this awkward feeling will continue to be in my heart.

“Mel, how about Rey come back in my life”, I look at Meli.

In the end I realized that I had made peace with my past. It may be true that I love Rey so much but Rey is just my past. When I closed my eyes Rey was in my mind but Sam was in my heart. When Sam's shadow appeared, it was like a light illuminating the darkness in my life.

Today passed very quickly, Meli helped me cook in the kitchen for dinner because I asked her to stay home and have dinner with me. Because not only Mira who misses playing with Raka but I also miss Meli very much.
