CHAPTER 76 | For Me and Not For You

Mr. Rudy, Meli's father-in-law still lies weakly on his bed and cannot move his body without the help of others. In other words the main director's seat was vacant for a while. Reno had planned this out beforehand, making her own father helpless so that she could master what should have been her right long ago.

Reno came down and looked at the dining table that was not available for food, his face seemed confused and looked at Kinan who was playing his phone with a laugh. Reno approached Kinan who was relaxing with a face full of questions

“Didn't you cook anything for me?”, asked Reno gently

“You crazy? I cook? Since when can I cook? You should have prepared it for me. Didn't you always like that?”, replied Kinan

Reno frowned and ignored Kinan as he was almost too late. Soon Reno took the car keys and her belongings and went to the bed with an empty stomach.

“I will find food outside, take care of the house well Kinan”, Reno said then left the house

Reno left home hungry and upset, eager to yell at Kinan who could not take care of the house and himself as well as Meli but what can be done, Reno loves Kinan so much that his anger is easily muted by him.

Arriving at the office, Reno walked leisurely and did not care about the gaze of people about him. Everyone knows that Reno is the only son of Mr. Rudy, the company's chief director but one thing Reno does not know is that the company has had a replacement for Mr. Rudy for a while.

One of Mr. Rudy's confidants blocked Reno's move when Reno was about to enter the main director's room by holding her body.

Mr. Rudy booked all the seats in a restaurant so that he and his personal lawyer could speak very comfortably. Mr. Rudy's age is not young anymore and he imgin immediately choose his successor to run a company that he has been managing to large until the choice fell on one person.

“I chose Meli to continue the company I have built and I appointed my confidants to train her to be a great leader”, said Mr. Rudy

“Isn't your child still alive?”, the lawyer asked

“Didn't you love your child? Why isn't he the one you trained to be a great leader like you?”, he asked again.

“Because I love him so much, I don't want him to be insulted for being incompetent at all in leading” replied Mr. Rudy

Meli walked on without looking at Reno in the slightest. Suddenly his steps came to a halt when he heard Reno calling his name in a loud voice and sounding quite rude to him.

“Meli!!!”, he shouted

Meli just turned her head towards Reno who called her and came back face to face with Reno, her very extraordinary appearance could make Reno unable to speak anything anymore. Reno was still unaware of her current state and who she was dealing with.

“What is he doing here?”, asked Meli while pointing towards Reno

“It's okay mom, there's just a small mistake just”, replied Mr. Hendra, a confidant of Mr. Rudy

“Then tell him to go back to work”, said Meli

Meli left Reno and entered the main director's room. Reno is shocked to see him enter while he is not allowed to enter. Soon Reno turned to look at Mr. Hendra and his face was like asking for an explanation from him.

“So you have not heard the news?”, said Mr Hendra while nodding

“I mean?”, Reno asked not to understand.

“Pak Rudy has appointed Bu Meli to replace the position of main director for a while during his illness”, explained Mr. Hendra

Reno fell silent and turned her eyes like she could not believe what she had just heard. Reno is inexhaustible because his own father does not give an important role is the company for Meli and not for him who is his own biological child. “Please get back to work or you can get out of this place!!”, threatening Mr Hendra

Reno ignored the threat from Mr. Hendra who was his father's confidant and broke through the main director's room and walked towards Meli who was sitting by crossing his hands as if waiting for Reno's arrival on nya. Reno got closer to Meli and then he kicked the table in front of Meli

“Crazy women!!! What the hell are you doing? Get away from that place or I will drag you!!”, said Reno rudely

Meli fearlessly stood in line with Reno and faced Reno's overflowing anger. Meli's calm attitude further makes Reno angry because he feels that Meli is underestimating him. Reno's angry gaze and the cold gaze from Meli made the entire room uproar until it sounded outside.
