CHAPTER 24 - In the Hospital

James is now waiting for Vanya to go unconscious in the hospital. It has been five hours Vanya has not been aware, time has shown at five in the morning. Earlier, Vanya collapsed due to a fire incident that hit her home. He was taken to the hospital by James.

Vanya has now been transferred to the inpatient room. James was still faithfully waiting for Vanya until he regained consciousness. He held the hand of the girl he loved while waiting for his consciousness.

"Haah . . . Why aren't you aware? I've been waiting here all night" James said softly.

Tok tok!

Someone came knocking on the door of the room where Vanya was being treated. James went to the door to open it. His best friend came to visit him.

"How is he doing?" ask Tom who just came to the hospital.

"Let's go inside!" take James to Tomi.

They also entered the room. They saw Vanya still lying weakly on the patient's bed. Tomi watches over her best friend who doesn't seem to sleep all night worrying about the girl she loves.

"Go home and rest! I'll have our men guard at the entrance so that no intruder would dare to enter here" Tomi told James.

"I still want to be here until he wakes up" James replied, sitting on a chair next to the patient's bed.

Then, James held Vanya's hand and kissed her. He then looked at the weakly lying girl with a sorrowful look. Suddenly, Vanya's hand moved. James then let go of his hand. He then tells Tomi that Vanya is conscious with a happy face.

"Tomie! Vanya is awake!" james shouted with a smile.

"Well, really? I'm glad to hear it" replied Tomi.

Vanya slowly opened her eyes. He then looked around and his eyes suddenly fell on the man who was in the chair near the patient's bed. Vanya was very surprised to see James who was there. Then, he woke up from the patient's bed and tried to remove the oxygen hose that was still attached to his mouth.

"Don't let go! Wear it until the doctor arrives and allow it to be removed" cried James, who panicked as Vanya tried to remove her oxygen hose.

"James seems to be worried about me. However, I was confused as to what to talk to him now. Uh! My phone. I have to tell Pricilla my situation first, "inner Vanya.

"All right, I'm not gonna take it off. I'm it's okay. So, you don't worry. Emm . . . Where is my phone? I want to call Pricilla" Vanya said as she looked at the table near the patient's bed.

"Hey, women don't know themselves! Did you know James was with you all night here! Look at her puffy eyes from crying and staying up all night for your sake! Why are you looking for someone else and don't care about them at all?" tomi shouted suddenly in annoyance.

"Then, what are you in his eyes, huh? I suggest you don't have to cape-cape around women who won't even accept your flaws!" shouted Tomi who was still upset with Vanya's behavior.

"You better get out first! I want to talk to James one-on-one" Vanya pinta looked at Tomi.

"Huh! All right, I'm going out. However, just be careful if you dare to hurt my best friend again!" sahut Tomi while raising the index and middle fingers to his eyes and pointing Vanya with both fingers.

"That's it, get out there!" pinta James pushed Tomi to the front door.

Tom finally came out of the room. In the room only James and Vanya remained. Vanya looked at him, but he said nothing to James.
