CHAPTER 33 - Strange Sounds

After reading those words, he suddenly jumped onto his bed. He then covered his entire body with a blanket. His body was now trembling in fear and was unable to say anything after seeing the strange happenings that had befallen him.

"How's this? Can this be removed?" Jasmine then tried to release the scales.

"Aah! Why can't this still come off? Why does it feel like these scales are actually growing on my skin?" Jasmine was puzzled because the scales that stuck to her face could not be removed.

"Oh? The writing on my makeup mirror last night . . . Is that really reality?" Jasmine suspected the cause of the growth of scales on her face.

"Aah! Where possible? How could there be such a curse in this world?" yelled Jasmine hysterically.

I'd rather just give back all the money than I have to swallow shame," said Jasmine, watching her face overgrown with scales on the bathroom mirror.

James was shaving his thin mustache while looking in front of his bathroom mirror. He was still thinking about the strange sound he heard last night in Jasmine's room. "I guess . . Strange sound last night like a woman's voice. Haha .... Who exactly is he? From the aura I felt, the aura was truly powerful," James thought with a long sigh.

In the room Vanya ....

Vanya is now bathing in the bathroom of his room.Suddenly, there is a strange voice calling out his name. "Vanya! My daughter-in-law! You are a strong and kind-hearted girl. I will gladly bless your relationship with James" said the strange voice softly.

"Aah! A ghost!" Vanya shouted and immediately came out of the bathroom in a pajama.

Then, Vanya ran out of her room. James came out of the bathroom when he heard Vanya screaming. He rushed out of his room and wore only trousers without a top. Vanya also accidentally hit James who suddenly came to his room.

"Brug!"

"Calm down! Why are you screaming like that?" james asked while hugging Vanya because he saw the look on his face that was frightened.

Then, Vanya pushed James who was holding her slowly and looked at her face. "I . . heard the voice of a woman who called my name while I was in the shower. There is no woman in this house except me. So, I guess it's a ghostly voice" said Vanya.

"Maybe you're too exhausted because you haven't fully healed. So, you better rest today first and don't go anywhere" James asked with a sweet smile.

"I'm serious James! The voice called me like this, 'Vanya! My daughter-in-law!' " Vanya also wondered how the strange voice called her name.

"Gt!" James even held back his laughter seeing Vanya who demonstrated the speech of the strange voice.

"You! You Nyebelin!" vanya exclaimed with a look of annoyance while turning her face away from James' sight.

"ft! I'm sorry. I have no intention of taunting you. However, in this house there has never been anyone who was terrorized by ghosts. So, I find it funny when I see you scared because of that," said James who still held back his laughter.

"Aw, sick!" james was holding his nose.

"That's a reply because you're me .... Eh? Ahh! Why aren't you wearing clothes? Hurry up and go to your room and get your clothes on?" Vanya stopped her first line of speech, realizing that James was not wearing his clothes. He then turned around while closing both of his eyes using his palm.

"You should be happy to see my muscles. Usually most women are very fond when they see this," said James while hugging Vanya from behind.

"I .... I don't like it!" yelled Vanya nervously.

"really? But, if you don't like it, why do your earlobes look so red?" james whispered near Vanya's ear.

"Please, no! I'm going to go to the room first" exclaimed Vanya as she let go of James' hand holding her.

James only noticed the girl he loved was running back into his room. He now began to wonder if the strange sound terrorizing Vanya was the same sound he had heard. He went back into his room and put on his clothes. Later, James used his powers to teleport to his secret room in the backyard.

Then, James approached a large bookcase in the room. The bookshelf is a shelf that contains various books about various kinds of magic and supernatural things that are not believed by ordinary humans. However, the books are very useful for those who are not ordinary humans. James is a Merman.

He then searched for some information related to the strange whisper. He opened the book strands by strands without being missed in the slightest. He finally found an information that gives a little light to the problem of strange whispers.

"Hm .... 'If you have a mirror called the Mirror of Time, you will be able to notice someone you want to watch from a distance without having to follow it directly. Not only watching, you can also send your voice to the target you have set.' " James was reading a book about strange whisper information.

"Haha! Apparently your father didn't tell you everything. Hicks! I'd really like to see you, son. I've been watching you for a long time from behind this Time Mirror of mine" said the strange voice.

"Then show your true form now!" james shouted at the strange voice.
