My Husband And My Alpha

My Husband And My Alpha
5. Bereft

Jasper waited anxiously in front of a room. Sometimes he stood up from the bench and paced back and forth while looking at the closed door of the room. He sighed, shaking his waist, with a vertical look.

The loud noise from inside the room was inevitable. Clara's screams make Jasper want to go in there, but his steps are held back by Aiden. The brunettes blocked Jasper's shoulder and made the man turn around.

“Aiden! I have to see Clara!” jasper exclaimed with teary eyes. “She's my wife!”

“I know, Jasper.” Aiden rubbed his brother's shoulder until Jasper landed his head on his shoulder. “We must comply with Hendrick if Clara wants to survive.”

“But what about the baby?” Jasper looked at Aiden. His eyes are red.

Aiden did not answer. His tongue was amused to see his brother become that weak. “Jasper!!!”

Jasper turned around and quickly broke down the door of the room. Her blue eyes fiddled at Clara who was groaning in pain and trying to push her baby out. The red liquid had stained the bed linen and

some tubs filled with warm water. Jasper approached immediately, ignoring Aiden's screeches that followed him earlier. Some of the servants asked Aiden to leave the room, then closed the door again.

“Clara! Clara! Its me. Jasper.” The man whispered next to Clara's ear. His hand rubbed his wife's forehead, while the other gently stroked Clara's distended stomach.

The woman did not retaliate and was busy withstanding the pain and heat all over her body. Breathing snorted. His face was deathly pale with sweat pouring down. He went back to straining and didn't produce anything down there.

“Jasper,” call Hendrick.

The obstetrician who handled Clara's pregnancy from the beginning was staring at Jasper. He gestured the blue-eyed man to talk to him for a while. Jasper immediately stood up, according to Hendrick who led him to a corner of the room. Meanwhile, Hendrick's two assistants continue to help Clara deliver her baby immediately.

“I'm sorry, but ...” Hendrick hung up his words. He looked at Jasper.

“What? Why?” Jasper squeezed Hendrick's shoulder, asking for a quick answer. “What's up, Hendrick?”

Hendrick gulped for a moment. “We can't save your baby,” he said lowering intonation.

Jasper was silent. “A-what?”

“Black Witcher may have attacked your baby before Clara fell,” Hendrick said. He looked at Clara who was pushing hard, then looked back at Jasper. “Let me anesthetize Clara and get her baby body out. It will take time due to the limitations of the medical tools I brought, so—”

“So, what?” Jasper looked at Hendrick with an inexplicable look on his face. The grip on the doctor's shoulder loosened.

“I will perform surgery to save Clara,” said Hendrick. “If I don't do it, Clara won't be able to be saved.”

Jasper's blue eyes were directed at Hendrick. She shook her head. “I don't want him back there—”

“You think she'll be back there if she doesn't manage to deliver her baby?” sela Hendrick's. “He will be completely dead, Jasper!”

Jasper was silent. Hendrick, who had run out of time, walked over to the servants and asked them to take Jasper out of the room so that he could perform a caesarean section on Clara. Two servants led Jasper's body to the door. The man's blue eyes looked faintly at his wife who was screaming in pain on the bed, before the door closed again.

“Jasper!”

Aiden approached his brother. He looked at Jasper, asking for the man's explanation of what was going on inside. Meanwhile, several people waiting there were also waiting for the man's statement. Jasper scooped his face, revealing his blue eyes that were about to cry.

“Clara must be operated,” he said. “Our son has died.”

she was saved even though she had to lose her baby.

The rain starts to drift around. Moisturize the leaves and cause the aroma of pentrichor out. Jasper stepped towards the mansion after returning from burying his son's body. Aiden and several people were seen following him. They sat face to face, summing up the feeling of the blue-eyed man now.

Jasper's steps came to a halt at the junction of the corridor. Aiden walked up to him slowly. He stood beside his brother.

“Gather everyone,” said Jasper without turning a head. “One more hour we move.”

After saying that, Jasper stepped away. Aiden turned to the people who had accompanied them since. They face each other. Liur Aiden gulped as he stared at Jasper's missing back into the corridor.

For a long time, tell that guy not to mess around. Jasper will only gather everyone if there is something very important. However, this time the word ‘moved’ seemed to be the most serious edict he had ever given throughout his reign in the Owen Clan.

Jasper headed to the room where Clara was still lying there. He opened the door slowly, then entered. His steps that were once firm, now changed completely. Jasper sat down next to Clara.

The woman's eyes were still closed. Transparent dark circles clearly surrounded his eyes. His body is still weak. Jasper clasped Clara's hand, streaming something bluish glow there

which spread throughout his wife's body. The man bowed. His eyes looked at Clara.

“I'm sorry, Clara,”.

His eyes instantly turned sharp. His mind was adrift on the people who made Clara's condition worse. Of course, who else if not the Black Witcher? The black magician had ruined his life.

“I really won't forgive you.” Jasper hissing. His growl was clearly heard as telepathy to all the creatures that were around his mansion. His hatred rate increased drastically after he lost his son.

Elsewhere, Brandon was seen waiting on top of a tree. He purposely leaned his body on the trunk of the tree he was staying in. His red eyes seemed to glint as the moon rose. Tonight was not so bright because the black clouds were struggling around the Luna. It rained about a few minutes ago and made every branch of the tree slippery. Brandon let out a sigh as the groan in a mansion he was at had ended. He turned to Anne and Eden who were sitting on the surrounding branches. They sniffed their chin at him.

“What's finished?” tanyakanya.

Eden looked back at the white mansion down there. “In a moment they will move,” timpalynya. “Are you going to keep waiting here?”

Brandon nodded. The moonlight shone on half of his face that was not covered in a hood. “I have to bring my wife back,” reply.

Eden exhaled. “Alright,” said, then prepare something in the waist bag. “Anne, tell the others to spread immediately after they move.”

Anne, who had been watching their conversation, nodded. The woman jumped to the side of the other branch, following her comrades who had prepared somewhere. Meanwhile, Eden looked back at the blonde-haired man beside her.

From the first time he entered the Immortal realm after that ritual, Brandon had not changed the look on his face at all. Anger and hatred were implied there and Eden could guess it because she also had the same feelings for the Immortals. If only they hadn't made her younger sister enamored with the world, Elana might still be by her side now.

Eden patted Brandon on the shoulder, making the man turn his head. “You can log in after I give you the code. Don't let your guard down!”
