My Husband And My Alpha

My Husband And My Alpha
7. When the Beautiful Eyes are Open

Brandon didn't care when a two-meter-tall wolf chased him down there. He's whining. Jasper certainly can't jump up a tree because he's not Lycan. Only his blue eyes flashed between the gaps of leaves and twigs that covered Brandon's view now.

The man jumped deftly. It split the forest and headed in one direction where the distinctive scent of the Black Witcher was successfully smothered by it. He smiled as hard as he could. In a moment, he would bring Clara back into his arms.

“Who are you?”

A sudden blow was felt from within Brandon and made the man glower instantly. The body of the woman he was carrying almost missed, before Brandon finally realized and rushed to hug Clara until her body fell to the ground. The man groaned softly, feeling his spine that might have been fractured from the blow just now. While on the other hand, a black wolf paused its steps and squinted towards him.

Brandon stared at the wolf for a moment, then his attention turned to the woman in his arms. Clara squeezed out her robe and made the two of them sit on each other. The woman frowned faintly. However, the focus of the two unraveled as Jasper roared loudly.

Brandon grimaces rough. He tried to get up with Clara's body still in his arms. “You think, I'll just give up?” he said to Jasper, who was seen flapping his black feathers. “If so, you are wrong, Jasper.”

A red flash grabbed from behind Jasper and made the wolf jump dodge. Eden appeared right in front of Brandon. He's looking.

“What's up?” tanyakanya.

Brandon shakes. “Something hit me,” he said.

“Keep following that scent. You will reach the portal to my residence,” the black-haired man said.

Brandon nodded, then continued on his way by running.

On the way, he looked back at Clara who was still looking at him from earlier with an inexplicable look. Either the woman felt strange about Brandon's current appearance, or because of something the man didn't understand. Brandon only focused on the steps and the scent he smelled. The longer it gets more concentrated and leads it to a transparent portal guarded by several Black Witchers. A long roar sounded, this time Brandon guessed that it did not belong to Jasper.

“Nona Anne gave us the code,” said one of the Black Witchers whose face was covered in a hood.

“Hurry in or we'll be late!” the other sahut.

Brandon rushed into the portal. The back lacing was felt as he exited and landed in the backyard of a mansion. Breathing snorted. His heartbeat hunted for a moment. A Black Witcher resuscitated him and led him into the mansion.

Brandon put Clara in a bed in one of the rooms. A woman dressed in black-and-white approached and asked him to come out for a while. Brandon looked at Clara who still looked dazed, then

nods. He left the room a few seconds later.

Suddenly, the man remembered the blow from within him when Clara opened her eyes on the trip. His forehead was wrinkled, thinking of something that made his brain run amok. He uncovers the hood, then leans against the wall and sighs a long sigh. Tonight was a long night for him. The other side clucked complacently as it managed to recapture Clara from the Werewolf man named Jasper.

“Jasper ... Owen ...,” his Brandon.

Brandon certainly kept that name in mind ever since Eden gave him direction before they entered the Immortal realm. Eden even told her that Clara was pregnant right now and that made Brandon angry

it was when she found out that Clara was pregnant with the Werewolf's child. Unfortunately, Brandon is happy when Clara loses the baby. Given her purpose here only brought Clara back, but not what she did in this world.

The Black Witcher had already devised a plan before Brandon joined them. Clara is the reincarnation of Elana—adik Eden— and of course Eden knows it because the knowledge he studied for hundreds of years made him able to recognize the traces of energy from the past carried in the present. His now Immortal life became the only way that he could avenge his past against the Werewolf race in that world. Fortunately, Eden found Brandon who was none other than the human husband of his sister's reincarnation. She asks Anne to follow the man and get him to join the Black Witcher to take the action.

“Bran.” A woman called the blonde-haired man and made him turn his head.

Brandon lowered his gaze for a moment, gesturing at Annelise. However, he remembered that the woman was in a fight earlier. “You're back?” tanyakanya.

Anne nodded. The hood has been blistered until it shows her white hair that decomposes beautifully. “But, Eden was hurt,” was down.

“What?”

The woman nodded. “The damn werewolf jumped up and injured his arm. Lucky, we arrived on time and managed to get him to escape here quickly,” he said.

Brandon let out a long sigh, not relieved to know his partner was injured. She's speechless. His eyes were staring at the door of the room.

“How?” ask Anne.

“Althea?”

Brandon's forehead shriveled. “Althea?”

“Althea. He is a healer,” Anne said, making the man in front of her nod.

A few minutes later, Althea came out. His eyes widened to find some people approaching, too

with Brandon and Anne. The woman sighed as Brandon looked back at her.

“He's fine,” he said. “Only heavy shock.”

Anne breathed a sigh of relief. But not for Brandon.

“Is he not injured?” ask the blonde-haired man.

Althea looked at the man. “He was not injured at all, except for the scars on his stomach, but it can still be cured quickly. He also had time to ask you earlier before I slept,” he said. “I just said that it can be asked later after he has completely healed.”

Brandon nodded. Anne touched and rubbed her arm, gesturing that everything would be fine

just. “What can I wait for him—”

“Brandon!” A man called from the end of the hall and approached some people outside Clara's room. She flicked the hood, revealing her red eyes. “Eden looking for you,” he said.

The blonde-haired man gulped. He looked at Anne for a moment and the woman nodded her head.

“Let me take you,” said Anne.

Anne leads Brandon into a room, not far from Clara's. A black-haired man was lying on the bed with his left arm bandaged. A red color that may appear blood seeping in the winding of the white cloth. He looked up when he heard the door open.

“Are you better?” anne asked, then sat down next to the man. He put a hand on Eden's forehead for a moment.

“I have no fever, Anne,” says Eden. His voice was hoarse as if his energy was drained out after fighting with

Jasper. His eyes looked at a man who was still standing near Anne. “Sit down and don't be too formal,” he said.

Brandon sat on a chair beside the bed. “What is pain?” tanyakanya. He saw Eden's wounds

whose blood continued to seep and thought about how the man was enduring the pain and pain within.

Eden saw his wound for a moment. “I'm fine,” he said. “Althea will handle it later.”

“What do you want to talk to me about?” ask Brandon again.

The heterochromia-eyed man sighed for a moment. “It's about Clara,” he said. “I remember that I only told you that Clara was the reincarnation of Elana, my sister. But as it turns out, there's something else I haven't told you.”

Brandon frowned. His gaze turned enthusiastic. “What? What is it?”

“This is about the phoenix seal that is on the neck of Clara.”
