My Husband's Second Love

My Husband's Second Love
Episode 119's

Sekar POVs

"This is the letter you must give," I handed him a piece of paper that I folded neatly.

"This is the address" I gave you another piece of paper.

The man who turned out to be named Permadi received still with his face down. This time his face was covered with a black hat.

If I look at him like a shadow from the darkness. I don't know what he's done until he's always hiding behind black.

Just after I entered the room after Permadi's departure, his sister came to clean up the house this afternoon.

"How dare you tell my brother."

As usual, with a sharp ear-piercing tone, "you know, he's a former killer who just got out of prison" he said.

His head was brought close to me and whispered, "he will do anything for the person who interests him but you will never know what he asks in return."

I looked away. I don't care, the important thing is that he can connect me with Lek Broto. I walked away from the woman.

"Remember, you have to start thinking about how to get the money, today is the last time I brought you rations" he said. His hands were busy arranging things on the dining table that was a mess because of me.

"One more time, here you are not the princess, so wash your own dishes and used glasses," his hand stretched out and handed the dirty cutlery right on my chest.

"Damn it, see if I can get out of here, I will make that woman's fall" I whispered as I watched the woman walk out of the house.

Rumi POVs

"Where are you?" I sat alone with my ex-husband in my office.

"Yes, the authorities said it was difficult to track the whereabouts of Sekar, there was no use of ATMs or mobile phones."

"It seems we still have to be patient."

I looked at Mas Han iba. His guilt is still a burden. After a few months of Bu Ajeng's death passed he was still curious where Sekar went.

"Have you tried following Lek Broto mas?"

"Already, the old man did not show any suspicious gurgles."

"There was no financial movement between his accounts to Sekar's account," Mas Han's eyes glared then looked at me warmly.

"I'm tired of talking about Sekar, Rum."

"Later in the afternoon we go for a walk with the kids."

I haven't seen my ex-husband's warm eyes for a long time. It makes me unable to refuse.

"If you don't want to, I won't force you, Rum."

"Tonight I can't stay, I have to get out of town, tomorrow morning."

I smiled, if I had to refuse his invitation, I should at least give him the sweetest smile as a cure for his disappointment.

"Well, because of that, I have to go out of town tomorrow, better rest tonight, let's leave tomorrow."

His eyes dimmed for a moment. Disappointment is clearly there. But a moment later his eyes sparkled again.

"How about tonight the kids go to the hotel I'm staying at."

While I was down I hid my smile. I have to reject it again. So I decided to nod.

Mas Han ran out of the room, "where are you going?!" my yelling.

"Sir Dul," Mas Han's shout made me laugh. He stood in front of the door waving his hand.

"Yes, Ndoro," Pak Dul's breath seemed to be hunting, it seemed like he ran hearing Mas Han's cry.

"Later at night you deliver the same children as the nanny plus her mother to the hotel. If you need to go with her grandmother."

"Ready Ndoro," whispering Mr. Dul asked, "is Ndoro Putri allowed?"

There was a small laugh of Mas Han, "already," he replied, also whispering.

"You go home now, get the kids ready" Mas Han told me.

"But it's not time to go home yet" I refused.

"Suster Eny and Lita definitely don't want to go home."

Mas Han stepped quickly out, leaving me in a daze. But I didn't stop myself from following in his footsteps.

Approaching the children's playroom, Mas Han quickened his pace. My smile is getting wider. Mas Han took off his shoes before entering the room.

Lita's voice was clearly heard in my ear, "dad."

Mas Han carried the small body of Lita who ran over. While I stopped at the doorway watching the two.

"Who's playing with mom?" ask Mas Han.

Little head Lita nodded quickly. Sister Eny stood stiff as usual. Mas Han nodded slightly saluting and replied in the same way.

"Later to go with mom?" ask while walking closer.

"Where?" my little girl's eyes sparkled to see me.

"Really yeah?!"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Mother wasn't invited?" the three-year-old little girl looked at Sister Eny, her gaze showing guilt.

"Mom will rest here dear, mother tired," Sister Eny replied calmly. This woman knows how to carry herself.

"Keep Lita went to whose father's place?"

"Sama mama, adek Ken Narmi's grandmother, Nah's grandmother was escorted by Mr. Dul," I replied as I touched the ponytail and rowed the cheek of her puffer.

My little girl nodded, she took off her father's embrace and approached Sister Eny, "mom rest if tired, Lita go for a walk first as many others?"

"Many others?" manyu tease.

"Yes mother, Lita went the same as many others."

I pat Lita's springy ass, "let's go get sister."

"Come," Lita's head nodded rapidly many times making her horse's tail sway.

Lita took my hand and held it tightly, "ayo mother."

"Yes.iya."

"Father go straight to the hotel yes, prepare everything, so that later if the children of the father arrive at the hotel can eat a lot."

"Yes," Lita continued to pull my hand, approaching the waiting Mr. Dul.

"Let's go" the little girl shouted as she approached Mr. Dul.

Mr. Dul pouted, "if you say anything else, call him Kakung Nduk Kakung."

"Yes atung.atung."

It is not easy to prepare two toddlers who are almost the same age. Instead of being able to quickly prepare, the two fell asleep after joking.

That was planned before the Maghrib could reach the hotel. This was almost a new issue until the front of Mas Han's room.

"You know what the hell, dad's been waiting for him since," my ex-husband pouted his two children.

"Father, invited to spout even bobok continues."

"No, big brother whose eyes suddenly brushed."

"Come on in."

The eyes of my two children sparkled, on the bed there shared a kind of small food. On the carpet lay some toys.

"We're on heaven's deck" said Lita as she ran up to the toy on the carpet.

"In heaven, what heaven is mother?" ask Ken to look at me.

"Heaven is a beautiful place, where only good people live" I replied.

"Means you're a good mother, living in heaven."

Mas Han's face was red. I was wrong with my own behavior.

"Well, you know, you never busted up with Ken?"

I'm getting confused. What is this supposed to answer? While the eyes of Mas Han are getting rounder.

"Or we move to heaven with dad."

"Your responsibility," Mas Han said without a sound. I could only extend a hand to signal that my ex-husband was calm.

"Hmmm, look, we made a deal, yeah," I put Ken in my lap.

"Once in a while I'll powder up with Ken, how about it?"

"But Ken must promise first, mention the numbers one through ten correctly."

"No way."

"One to ten is hard for you."

I glanced at Mas Han who pursed his lips tightly.

"If Ken can call one to ten not forget, the father must bobok the same Ken Mother's days," my son bargained.

I glanced at my ex-husband whose lips were expanding as wide as the Joker's smile. His head nodded with excitement. I could only pout and look away. It's delicious, don't expect it to be that easy.

Seeing my ex-husband and his two children playing, there was a speck of taste present. Yanga's taste made me fail to hold back a smile. This heart feels warm, one side that is usually empty, now feels full.

As cool as I was seeing the kids, my phone vibrated. Mas Juna sent a message.

There's something I want to talk about. Han hid the results of the police investigation.

I looked at my ex-husband. His head moved slightly asking in silence, what was I thinking. I replied with a headband. Now's not the time, I don't want to ruin tonight with suspicion.
