Chapter 44 I Will Put the World in His Majesty's Hands!

If I sit down and compare my time as Daimyo to His Majesty's time as King, the difference is obvious. From the death of my Father until the day His Majesty appeared in front of me, I did nothing to change the hand I was dealt. I sat down and watched my people starve to death, I was placed in charge of a Nation that had nothing to offer. The landscape is flat and lifeless, the Ocean is filled with many Chakra creatures along the coastline as well as unforgiving waves that will wash away everything we do to build. From time to time we try to make a living for ourselves and from time to time we fail.

I ruled this country for 10 years, at the age of 7 was forced upon me because my father died. His Highness Ichizo has ruled for 5 years, In these Five years he has transformed the entire country to a level I never imagined before.

The original barren flat country is covered with forests, mountains, rivers, plains, swamps, lakes, full of wildlife. There are people and cities all over the country with trains and lanes leading to each. The technology applied not only in the Capital of Darkness but also coastal quotations has enabled the rapid transfer of information that allows us to react quickly to unexpected events. The knowledge taught in the Academy of Night has brought many people from all over to study within its walls as well as opening up new worlds for me and all the others who have graduated from it eat well, work, buy things, start a family and overall be happy with the life they have. We can trade with other countries by sea because His Majesty eliminates the threat of the Chakra beast and adjusts the shoreline so that the waves will not wash away the work we have done. The Night Kingdom has become vital to the surrounding countries which has made us a center of immigration and cultural exchange. We have all kinds of entertainment such as movies, video games, amusement parks, etc. This place is utopia.

But for me the greatest thing about the Kingdom is the ability of anyone to become a shinobi. Not only does this allow our military power to stand above others by many folds, but it also allows someone like me to make a difference as well as know my true legacy.

On the day His Majesty turned me into a Shinobi when I graduated from training, he purifies all our bloodlines to allow us to pass on our skills to our children who will maintain the Military advantage we have in the Future. My hair turned Bright Red. His Majesty examined my bloodline and decided that I was a Member of the Uzumaki Clan, more precisely a descendant of one of the Greatest Uzumaki, Itai Uzumaki, I spent a lot of time with His Majesty. He taught me how to use the Kekkei Tota and Dojutsu I inherited, He taught me everything I needed to know about Uzumaki from their Fuinjutsu to the History of the clan leading back to the Asura Otsutsuki.

For all that he has done not only for the Nation but also for his people, If His Majesty wants me to Swim through the Lava or pull the moon out of the Sky, I will be happy to do as I am told. All over the country I doubt there are people who disagree with that at all. As one of the 12 Jokyunins under His Majesty, I will do everything in my power to protect the Nation, His Majesty, and the interests of His Majesty. As I walked back to the area designated for the Uzumaki Clan, I thought of all the things I had to settle in order to fulfill His Majesty's request.

This will be the first war involving Shinobi and Samurai in history so let's start with what I know about Samurai.When Samurai accept ninshu they become more spiritual and idealistic in their beliefs. Samurai usually wore heavy armor that covered most of their bodies, as well as adorned helmets that could be used as breathing apparatus to ward off toxins. Samurai use swords where they infuse chakra to launch it from a distance, they also practice Iaido which strengthens their body and increases speed as they unsheathe the sword. This can prevent many low-level shinobi from making prior signatures.

So I need Jonin and Chunin who are adept in wide Area jutsu that can melt the Armor they wear. So it seems like I have to visit the Nakano, Taiyo, and Hayashi clan head of the Nova, Solar and Scorch styles respectively to Activate the Shinobi at that level.

When I got home, my Wife was Breastfeeding my daughter while my eldest daughter was playing with her younger brother in the Living Room. I smiled and greeted them all with hugs and kisses.
