Chapter 50 Moving a Chess Piece
When Ichizo arrived in the Rain Land, the first thing he noticed was the industrial layout of the State and the Village within. A figurative forest of metal and concrete factories lay before him, many people back and forth carrying all sorts of goods or materials. The village is full of life, unlike the story depicted in the anime.
After taking a moment to find Nagato's chakra signature, Ichizo once again stepped through space to arrive at Akastsuki's Hiding Place. The area was the same as the place where Nagato was hiding while he operated six Pain lines minus the tools connected to him. Inside Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan's room comes with some Hidden Rain shinobi.
"Who are you? How did you find this place?" Yahiko was the first to notice Ichizo's arrival and began bombarding him with questions with a very confused yet vigilant expression on his face."My name is Ichizo Zenkichi, Yorukage of Yamigakure. Finding this place is pretty easy because I've been here before. Now I need to talk to Nagato." Ichizo replied in a very relaxed tone, there is no one in this room that comes close to the threat so there is no need to be vigilant.
Everyone in the room was immediately on the defensive preparing themselves for battle, to be able to sneak in undetected. The man in front of them was extremely skilled.
"What business do I have with Yorukage?" Nagato's voice echoed among the crowd, when he was seen, he did not look like his frail Anime self, but rather a shinobi in perfect condition. Dressed in the Standard Hidden Rain shinobi outfit with his Rinnegan on display to the world, he stepped in front of another shinobi to stand a few meters away from Ichizo.
"Why did Yorukage or whatever you call yourself come to see me personally? I thought the village chief would be very busy."
"Simple as it is, the eye is not really yours at all, it belongs to Madara Uchiha." When Ichizo makes this statement, everyone in the room begins to sweat, Madara Uchiha's name becomes taboo throughout the shinobi world. The stories of his exploits, battle prowess, and strategic moves are like horror stories told to children at night. Frighteningly. Ichizo has firsthand experience of how terrible the name is, claiming only to be Madara, the war started by Obitio.
"You are but a small part of his elaborate plan to bring about his resurrection and end the Shinobi world as we know it." After he says that Ichizo activated Zettigan.
"You see even from the grave he still haunts us all. With my current strength I can destroy Madara like an insect he poses no threat to me or my people. But what is the pleasure? I felt that the task could be delegated to another individual whom I would raise to have that ability. You asked me earlier why I came directly, the answer was simple, I came to get more chess pieces. As a Kage but more importantly as a King, I don't need to dirty my hands with tedious tasks. I spend my time training, nurturing individuals for this reason, so why don't I see the results of my work? I will create a power that even Gods fear."Nagato looked at the Man standing before him and felt a feeling of being oppressed due to the powerful aura emitted from his body, yet he was enlightened by his words. 'It's quiet above.' This thought flashed through his mind as he thought of the words Ichizo had said to him.
"You and your friend created Akastsuki to make the shinobi world a better place, but, what if I told you that this world is just a battery for those who are truly powerful? That this whole world is just an experiment made by higher beings to push their own power to higher levels? This world is but a dust in the eyes of the gods who made it. We can all be thrown away by them, our existence is just something they allow because they don't really care about wiping out the bacteria floating in the vast ocean of space. It's not the life I want to live. With these two hands I will make every Shinobi on the planet a being that can hit the Gods! So this is Nagato Uzumaki! I've come to ask if you're willing to join me!To ask if you are willing to become a chess piece in a battle against the Gods themselves!"
