Chapter 89 Against Shuhei

Back in Los Noches, the fight between Gin and Aizen goes smoothly, but despite his engagement, Gin comes out victorious.

"I'm sorry to say this but I was expecting more Aizen. Without your zanpakutom ability, you are truly incomparable to your efforts. Since Ichizo is a fan of not extending the inevitable, I will end this boring fight."

Gin's Zanpakuto was shot into the air and his blade turned into various shards.

The Sword Fragment then elongated tilting Aizen's body as he had no way of dodging the onslaught from all directions. Gin walked over to Aizen's pierced body, putting a hand on his chest.

Aizen's body began to bubble up from within as it was destroyed at the cellular level by Zanpakuto Gin without leaving the body, only his clothes were left. Filtering his Zanpakuto Gin left behind the remains as he walked out of the room, preparing Arrancar for their leader.

In Soul Society, Isshin begins to rebuild the forgotten connections of the Shiba Branch family while Ichizo, or Tatsuo becomes an official member of the Shiba main family.

Currently Kukaku and Tatsuo were walking past the Shinigami Academy Hall to take the Graduation exam. They headed to the open field where many students lined up to begin the Examination. Sitting on the left side of the field are Captain Head, Captain Kuchiki, Captain Soi Fon, and Captain Unohana. They were here to choose the talents to be the officers sitting within their respective Troops.A bespectacled bald-headed man walked to the middle of the Field to explain the basics of the exam.

"All of you, we will face each other to assess your abilities in Hakuda (Fight to Hand Battle), Hoho (Movement Technique), Kido, and Zanjutsu (Switchcraft Technique). Winning or losing does not matter as it will be up to Me alone to decide whether you truly understand what is being taught. For those who pass the Graduation section, you will then go up against Shuhei Hisagi who acts as the 9th Squad Captain to rank you on the Gotei 13 if you are elected a member. The first participants were Tatsuo Shiba and Yoro Nabunaga"

Tatsuo stepped onto the open field as his opponent did the same. Standing with his left hand resting on his Zanpakuto Handle, Tatsuo looked at the young man with bored eyes.

"Hado #4: The Byakurai!"

Yoro shoots a low-level Hado with no spell on Tatsuo, even though it is a low-level Kido to be able to do so without a spell is quite impressive. But Tatsuo did not look impressed at all because the technique like blue lightning was heading towards him.

A transparent rectangular barrier appeared in front of Tatsuo to block the attack. When it hit the barrier, the kido exploded creating a small explosion that blocked the view of its body. Taking that chance he used Shunpo (Soul Reaper Movement Ability) to appear in front of the Child then launched a kick into his left ear which left him with a slight concussion while also making him faint."Tatsuo Shiba survived having graduated from Shin'o Academy, If the captains agree, you can join the Gotei 13 because you showed incredible talent."

The teacher then looked at the Captain who all showed signs of agreeing.

"Alright, after this exam you can face off against the Acting Captain of the 9th Squad to determine your rank."

After he said that, Tatsuo sat on the left side of the field behind the captain as the test continued. The process was tedious because Tatsuo had seen battles of a much higher level but the basics of battle were displayed accurately to him as well as to the Captain below.

After some time the exam was completed, out of 100 students 56 passed while 17 were selected for the Gotei 13. The students and teachers who were overseeing the exam left the field as Shuhei took the Field after discussing something with the Captain.

Tatsuo showed a signal of recognition as he used Shunpo to arrive before Shuhei. Shocked by his actions, Shuhei raised his eyebrows as the Head Captain opened his left eye to look at this battle completely.

"I'm Tatsuo Shiba."

"Official Captain of the 9th Army, Shuhei Hisagi."

After introducing themselves, the two soul reapers unsheathed their swords while taking a fighting position. The two moved quickly while exchanging blows, on the field and in the sky moving so fast that only the Captain could follow their movements."It seemed like the Shiba Clan was rising up, raising a terrifying monster like him. He did not even study in the Academy but Sword Arts, Shunpo, and Kido were all equal or above Shuhei" - Soi Fon

"Actually take a closer look Shuhei was pushed back." - Unohana

Indeed he was like Tatsuo who used nothing but his swordsmanship while also adjusting his power level to Shuhei's. Until Tatsuo slashed Shuhei's arm though lightly, Shuhei's stepping back did not waver as he threw away the kido.

"Bakudo #62: Hyapporankan"

The blue energy rods flew multiplied into a hundred as they headed towards Tatsuo.

"Hado #91:Senju Koten Taiho"

When Tatsuo said this, the Captain including the Chief Captain was wide-eyed as Hundreds of Red balls surrounded Tatsuo then fired smashing into Shuhei's kido without stopping as it headed towards him.

Shuhei clicked his tongue before releasing his Zanpakuto.

His Zanpakuto became two Scythe with slats extending from both sides of Poland in his hand. There was a chain connecting the Two that stuck at the bottom of the pole, Grabbing his Zanpakuto Chain he sang it to defect from the incoming Kido.

"Good job, Shiba, but here's the end."

"Just who decided that?"

Tatsuo smiled before noticing his Zanpakuto as well.

""After its release, a large number of Reiatsu were forced on everyone around him as Zanpakuto came into sight. Similar to Shikai Shuhei, Tatsuo is also a Scythe but more traditional. The handle and the fastening pole are black with a length of 5 feet At the top end of the curved blade extending 4 feet in length matching the Polearm it is also black. At the other end was a Chain with a crescent moon emblem at the end.

"In my opinion, we're just getting started."
