Chapter 13: Underground Fighting Part 2

after I felt safe, Lana and I went straight down the stairs to go underground. Don't forget we closed the door to the underground. I'm still confused as to why those Daemons can go underground? though for the entry alone must use certain magic.or maybe the Daemons have other abilities?.all that is still a question for me during the descent of the stairs to the underground.

the height of this underground pathway room is quite relieved with a height of approximately 3 meters and at the top there are glowing crystals that serve as lighting. I wonder how many decades it would take to build this basement like this in the real world? because this is a virtual world and at the same time games seem to make things like this quickly is not impossible.

"ayo R follow me. and don't stay away from me so you don't get lost" Lana asked as she pointed at a direction. It seemed to be the way to the underground bunker.

I followed Lana from behind. I immediately thought that it must be Shiva, so Lana and I immediately rushed towards the hiding bunker.

we ran as fast as we could to get to where we were going, and it turned out that my guess was right about 5 minutes we ran. from a distance there are many Daemons in the form of rats the size of rabbits that are many in number, while it is right in front of the creatures there is an ice wall that blocks and tries to destroy them.

"R, let's hurry up ahead is a bunker hideout.If we don't hurry I'm afraid they'll attack the citizens!" said Lana who already looked panicked.

it's true that not long ago the thick ice wall was destroyed.I immediately rushed after the daemons.maybe in front of them there are many residents who make them interested.

"Lana wait here, I'll catch up with the daemons and I'll take care of them all" I said.

"no, I'm going to fight with you R, they're citizens of my village. I also have to fight to help them" said Lana

"all right then I'll open the way for you" I replied.

I chewed my sword while Lana took out her scepter. After that I immediately used my light steps to speed up my movements. I lunged at the Daemons and slashed them one by one to pave the way for Lana.

right in the lane I ran there was Shiva who looked exhausted and helpless. I immediately pulled him and brought him to a safer place.with residents. who were still in front of the bunker door. it seems they are having trouble getting into the room.

meanwhile the daemons stopped their steps after seeing me. They seemed to know that I was dangerous.

but it turned out that my guess was wrong.they stopped not because they were afraid of me, but they did something even more grievous.Yes, yes, they gathered together and merged to form a new daemon form in the form of a 2-meter-tall mouse that is very terrible.from hundreds of rats they formed a monster rat into about 10 daemon rats.

"wow, walah, walah.it looks like it's going to be a hassle." I thought.

the giant daemon rats immediately attacked me simultaneously.I managed to dodge.but it turned out that it was just a diversion they still targeted the helpless citizens.

about 5 daemon rats away me from the residents and others attack the residents. I fight against the 5 daeomon rats. meanwhile some residents have run. and screamed in fear because they were daemons.

one of the daemons wanted to attack the citizens but from afar a woman carrying a staff cast a magic. that woman was Lana. she finally caught up with me.

"hora!!" that's the magic spell Lana used.

after saying that a sizable wind vortex managed to hit the Daemons and managed to push them back.

Lana continued to use her magic and directed the Daemons towards me. With all my might I blocked the ten Daemons and prevented them from approaching the citizens.

"hey you residents quickly open the bunker door, I can't hold them anymore.!!" I shouted at the citizens.

"patiently we are still waiting for this ice magic in order to unlock the bunker" replied one of the residents.

"that's too long, catch this!!" Lana screams and throws something.she throws a key at the residents then after that she turns to help me against the Daemons.

one of the residents managed to catch the key and immediately ran towards the bunker door.he opened the bunker door with the key and the result was successful.

"horee..made it!!" shouted the citizens.

"great!!" sahutku

"mayo.. everyone pull the bunker door together!!" said one citizen.

I held the Daemons for as long as possible so that the citizens could enter the bunker, but when the bunker door opened slightly.a black smoke appeared from behind the door. the smoke contained an unpleasant and very terrible air.

not until it opened all the doors.Something broke out from inside the door.it was a giant black hand that came out from inside the bunker.

the break of the hand made the residents shocked and bounced because of it. After that a giant black creature tried to get out of the place.

"ke, why is there a Daemon in that place?!!" shout Shiva.

because of that, many residents were injured by the attack of the giant Daemon, while Shiva with the rest of his energy held the creature so as not to come out of the bunker.

I thought about how the creature could enter the bunker, but after I thought the previous time there were Daemons who could come out from underground.it is not impossible that they could penetrate the bunker.

we were surrounded by Daemons, and I was also at a loss for what to do, but the most visibly frustrating thing here was Lana, who was beside me whispering a few words.

"R, please hold the Daemons in front of you for me while. I don't know what else to do? I don't want people to get hurt anymore, I have to do this." Lana whispered to me.

"ba, well I'll do everything I can.

Lana. the girl with long black hair with horns on her head and also pointed ears. suddenly took off her horns. after the bando was removed his hair turned green and an enormous magic power came out from within his body.

"as you know before R. I am an Elf, maybe even the last Elf in the world. Maybe after this I will be hated everything. But please promise me. you won't hate me." Lana told me.

he walked in front of me and touched one of the Daemons. The creature looked very frightened after seeing Lana who was in such fashion. afterwards Lana said a spell.

"reset" the spell Lana said

after saying that the daemon that Lana touched turned into a set of programming numbers, then after that the daemons disappeared instantly without a trace.

I was just stunned to see its power and still thought about "reset" magic is it really magic power? isn't that one of the computational commands to eliminate data and restore it to its normal state? I wanted to ask Lana all that, but I didn't dare to.

after that Lana approached Shiva who was holding the daemon from inside the bunker.he told Shiva to retreat.and then Lana touched the Daemon that was in the bunker and said

"sorry I have to do this to you".

after that the giant Daemon disappeared.

after that Lana sat down helplessly running out of energy.

"yeahahhhh!!! you did it Lana!!" I shouted from a distance happy because Lana had managed to defeat all Daemons.

"you are great Lana" said Shiva who was behind Lana. who was flying in a drowning state.

but unlike me and Shiva who congratulated Lana, the residents even look scared.

from a distance I saw Lana hiding her teary face. Shiva realized that he flew over to Lana and grabbed her shoulder.

"are you okay, Lana?" ask Shiva.

suddenly someone throws a stone and hits Lana's head.

"who did that?!!" shout Shiva.

"you!. the color of that green hair and those pointy ears?!. You turned out to be that damned Elf that was Sister Lana?!!" shouted the citizens.

then the residents took stones from the ruins of the underground passage and also the bunkers that were scattered during our fight.

they threw the stones at Lana and took out all their blasphemies.

"go you damned Elf!"

"yes, it's all your fault you know!"

"because you our peaceful village was destroyed by the attacks of the humans and Daemons.!"

"this must have happened because they were looking for you and found you in this village!!"

such was their blasphemy the citizens of many races such as half-human animals, ordinary humans, and other creatures.but only Lana was the only elf there. it was only fitting that all this time he would rather look like a demon race than have to look like an Elf race.

this situation somehow reminded me of my past in the real world and it made me sick of it. I immediately used light steps to speed up my movements and stop the citizen stone throw before it hit Lana.

I caught all the small stones that the citizens threw and smashed them right in front of them. I who was upset shouted before them.

"Yeshaaaaaaaannn!!! is this your reward for what Lana has done to you?. She has worked so hard to save you and you are doing this to her. Do you have no heart, huh?!!" yell at

even though I said that they kept throwing stones at me, Lana and Shiva, they kept blaspheming us.

"go away from our place!"

"we don't need your help!"

"go you!!"

I who could not stand their stone throws and their insults were very angry to hear it, then I also released an aura of power that formed a shockwave that made them bounce. I raised my sword and thought of slashing them all with my sword, but before I stepped Lana held my leg.

"no need R, I'm ready to accept all this. You don't have to waste your energy to serve them. I also don't mind this and forgive them more" said Lana

"but right?" sahutku.

"let's go, let's get out of here" replied Lana.

I accepted Lana's opinion, but before I left I looked at the citizens hatefully and said.

"alright, me, my friends, and Lana will get out of here. if that makes you satisfied!!. I don't know what kind of grudge you have against her. but I hope you don't regret doing this." I shouted to the citizens.

I immediately pulled Lana to stand up after that carrying her because she was no longer able to walk anymore then left the residents. whereas Shiva landed on top of my head and rested there. then after that without saying anything else I left the heartless citizens.

I came out from underground through the nearest door that Lana showed me. Then I met Momo who was still in the form of a giant lion and took Jack and Mia with me. from there I saw Jack and Mia's shackle necklace come off. It looks like Momo managed to remove the shackle necklace.

We all went up to Momo's back.I told her to leave the village without telling her why.

we also go even though we do not know the next destination.we continue to travel.mumpung sun still towering above the sky. hopefully at the next stop everything will be better.
