Chapter 17: The Mysterious Merchant

I didn't expect the journey for five days we walked safely.yes, actually not really. throughout the course of our group against many monsters as well.but that we used to level up.

now our level is at level 35. and my job level is new at level 5. Some skills have also been mastered including me as well as my skill tree. yet it seems that from my group who cares about level and power increase it is only me. maybe because of all of them I am the only player so understand if only I understand about the level and various improvements in this NEET world. while they only consider the level rise as the result of their hard work.

I, Jack, Mia, and Lana, continue to hunt monsters while Shiva and Momo collect drop items from the monsters we hunt for supplies. and these monsters also make money, although a little at least to keep watch in case something happens.

"hey R, the sun is about to set. is it still far away from the village of the Dwarves (dwarves)?" ask Jack

I'm too focused on hunting animals to forget that we have to go to the Druid village to find information about the location of the wind element crystals.

"oh, yeah I forgot Jack. for a second"

I opened the map again and it was not far away.

"stay through this forest, we can get to Dwarf Jack's village"

not long after walking.we also reached the village Dwarf. the village was close to the lake.and in the middle of the lake there is a small island with a large tree in the middle. in the Dwarf village it looks there are many windmill towers, but the windmill does not rotate at all. If you think it is strange the village is close to the lake usually the wind is always blowing to and fro. but in this village the wind was so calm that there was not even a gust at all.

we also went to the entrance gate.in front of the gate there was a father who was really not too high.maybe his height was only as high as mine.he blocked us into the village.

I also showed my adventurer license to the person.

"ooh.. are you adventurers?" ask the guard

"yes we are adventurers, coincidentally looking for a place to stay in the village, and we also got a quest around here" I replied.

the guard father paused for a moment and sighed somewhat disappointed after hearing my words.

"let's kid, we're just going to eat a family of distress, especially if you receive guests from outside" said the guard.

"can you explain in more detail what happened?" sahut Lana looks excited about this.

but the guard remained silent without a word and kept telling us to leave.we still insisted that we could enter the village.

but at the same time we were arguing with the guard father.Suddenly inside the village not far away with the entrance there was an explosion.

the explosion caused a puff of smoke that was clearly visible from outside the village.

"uh uh? moreover, it must be the work of the Think again."

the guard turned around to check what was going on, but because we were still at the gate he looked confused.

"you're not going anywhere, stay here. I still have business with you" the guard said.

the guard went into the village and checked the situation.we also followed the guard father with his leisure.

"hey, why are you following me. ah, already this has already happened" said the guard who had resigned and seemed to be tired of arguing with us.

we walked and followed the guard and saw what was going on. A lot of people gathered around the smoke.

and when I looked from behind the crowd, I saw a little yellow-haired girl with two pigtails crying sobbing in front of an engine. I never thought in a fantasy world like this there was a vehicle like a car.

"why can this be, I'm sure that I've fixed it and tested it many times" said the girl.

in front of the girl, a man with narrow eyes and on his left and right side were two large-bodied men. the narrow-eyed man's face looked extremely angry towards the little girl.

"hey, hey, hey, you know I've paid a lot for this vehicle.your salary at this store won't be enough to replace it." said the slovenly man arrogantly.

when I look around it does look weird anyway.they say Dwarf village is a village of weapons craftsmen and mechanical village.but I see here. There is only one mechanical shop in this village. and if the employees are that bad it can be dangerous if I look for equipment here.

after that, a grandfather came out of the tavern and apologized to the man who was narrowed.but the man still kekeh asked for compensation.it seems he was the owner of the shop.

"hey uncle. who's that squinty-eyed guy?" ask the gatekeeper.

"that man was a rich merchant who lived next to our village.you saw the mansion in the North of the village.Yes it was the man's house. he and his predecessors gave us a loan of money and gave us a very impossible task, and if we succeeded he would pay us double the capital. but if we can't we have to return our capital 2 times with very high interest. there used to be a lot of artisan shops in this village but because he was all losers and had to go out of business they also suddenly disappeared instantly and we also do not know where they went" replied the guardian uncle.

"ooh.. like that?" my continue.

"yes like that, uh why am I answering your question a stranger."

the guard told me to leave again, but the commotion grew from the artisan shop.

"please Mr. Felix give me another chance for us. toloong.give us one chance." looks the store owner's grandfather singed and pleaded to the squinty man named Felix.

two big-bodied guards beside Felix pushed the old man and tried to get into the store, but before entering the store the Dwarf girl got in the way.

"don't you dare touch my shop!" said the girl while blocking the front door from getting into her shop.

he was easily pushed by the guards and fell to the ground, but he did not seem to give up. he took out a leather glove from his pocket. the glove on the outside is a cable on his fingers, while in the middle there is a green crystal in the shape of a semicircle.

he put on the glove and immediately touched one of Felix's guards.The guard was hit by an electric shock strong enough to faint.

while the other guard he immediately clenched his hands and directly directed a punch to the girl.I who saw it and did not have the heart to see it I immediately used a step of light and resisted the attack of the guard. I immediately slammed the bodyguard and he immediately slammed into the ground.

"to, please forgive me" said the bodyguard.

"hey, hey, hey. Who are you? how dare I interfere in my affairs." said Felix.

"oh I just happen to be a passing adventurer" I replied.

Felix looked so angry with me. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth a sign of being very upset.

"keep what you want?" ask Felix.

"my name is R. I don't want to deal with your problems. I'm just looking for a mechanic or at least a craftsman for my needs. honey, if you have to close the shop, too." I replied

"so?" felix Sahut

"hmm. at least give this child a chance to repair your machine again" I replied again.

suddenly from behind the crowd of Lana residents approached me with angry faces.

"R you can't. don't take care of other people's problems?"

while saying that, Lana pulled my skin tight. It was fortunate that he was still wearing his hood so people did not realize who he really was.

"adu Du duh, sick Lana.!" I screamed whose ears were still on Lana's pull.

after that Nana looked at Felix and apologized and then released the jewel from my ear.I who still do not accept Felix's treatment of the family of craftsmen still continue to continue my argument.

"how? mr Felix or is your name willing to give this family of craftsmen a chance?." I asked again.

"get out of my way, I never accepted what a second chance was. Fail!" Felix replied firmly and angrily.

the Dwarf girl who was still on the ground pulled my hand and said.

"tu, sir it's better you don't make that person angry" said the girl

"just relax I'll be ba.."

not to finish, I said, suddenly a raw bogem landed on my face and I bounced into the workshop where the Dwarf girl worked. my body hit the things that were in there and instantly I was unconscious.

when I realized the atmosphere was immediately silent, and in front of me I saw my friend who was calming the Druid girl, while my body was still overwhelmed with shop items

but beside me was Lana who was healing my wounds with her magic.

"i told you to be careful, you always endanger yourself" said Lana

"actually I've been feeling strange about that man.only I can't read his status with my strength.I don't think it's this strong" replied me who was still lying limp.

Jack, Mia, Shiva and Momo were trying to comfort the Dwarven girl.they told me also what happened after I fainted.

what happened was a narrow-eyed man named Felix was carrying the grandfather of the Dwarf girl. The girl said if someone from the village had been brought by the man she would not be able to come back again. he also did not know what the man would do to his grandfather, but he asked for my help to save his grandfather tonight.

I who was curious about that person accepted his request, and friends did not hesitate to help him either.

after that we came out of the workshop and it turned out to be dark.we were invited by the Dwarf girl to come to her house and discuss and prepare things for the future.

I don't know what's behind that rich merchant's house called Felix that must still be a mystery.
