Not the Perfect Wife
224. S2 - Prepare for the wedding!

Afrin was in her room. Since meeting Khairi yesterday, he has rarely come out. The girl only spent time on campus and at home. Afrin thought about whether or not his choice was right? He did not want to choose wrong.

The door to his room was knocked by someone from outside. Actually Afrin still wanted to be alone, but there was no way he would let that person wait. It will all be crazy later.

"Yes, come in" said Afrin, pretending to read the book. The door opened and Yasna was there. The woman entered her son's room.

"Mother, I thought Rani's mother."

"Why do Mother's children now like to be alone? Don't you want to tell Mother again, huh?" Yasna sat next to her daughter leaning on the head of the bed. Afrin put her book on the table then, laying her head on the lap of the Mother.

"Am I wrong, Mother, if you prefer to cancel the wedding plan?" ask Afrin in a soft voice.

"What do you think of yourself?"

"Okay, I'm confused too."

"You yourself are confused, what about Mother! Ask your little heart how you feel about Khairi. About Vira you can find another way. Whether it's apologizing to him and explaining everything or just being stupid. Do not think Mother also does not know about her attitude so far the same you. A friend who likes arbitrarily like him we should not defend. You've been too kind to her, but you can't force you. Mommy likes to have a kind daughter, but you don't forget about your happiness too" Yasna said, rubbing Afrin's head.

"Since that day I have not seen him again, Mother. I have also decided not to get close anymore to Vira. My friend enough Zahra is also not pa-pa, but regarding Khairi, I stick to my decision to cancel this wedding plan.

"Whatever you think is good, Mother will definitely support, but the advice from Mother speaks from heart to heart. Mother See Khairi is stubborn, just like you. Mommy is doubtful that you can cancel this wedding."

"Mother support who, anyway! Me or Khairi?" Afrin sulks.

"Mother supports the best for Mother's children. As you said yesterday, pray more, ask God for guidance. Reassure your heart not to make the wrong decision and make you regret it when it's too late."

"Yes, Mother. Thanks for the advice."

Afrin thought of Yasna's words. He also wants the best for his future. The girl did not want to regret later therefore she had to be careful in making her decision.

"Yes, now we have lunch. You haven't had lunch, have you?" yasna asked Afrin to shake her head in response. "Yes, come on!"

They're out together. Yasna has not had lunch so she can eat with her daughter.

Khairi continued to drive his car without direction. Unknowingly, he was already out of town. Suddenly the car stopped in the middle of the road. The man was upset, it turned out that the fuel ran out.

"Damn! Absolutely insolent, Ivan. He deliberately did not refuel!" khairi grumbled by hitting the steering wheel of the car. Though he himself is wrong because it is too emotional to forget how long he has been driving.

The man got out of the car and chose to walk away from the car. The streets are so crowded, many motor vehicles pass by. Many pedestrians also enjoy the afternoon air.

Not long after, he arrived at a park. Some people are spending time with their families. There are kids playing with bubbles. The man recalled that he was angry with the father for forbidding him to play with the other child. Khairi approaches some kids who play bubbles.

"Kids, can Om play with you guys?" ask Khairi.

"By, Om." A little boy gave Khairi the bubble water he had.

They were all so happy to play together. The man thought that if he were to get married and have children, it would be great to play with him. Long enough Khairi played until the bubble water they had stayed a little.

"You're almost done, Om, buy it again, yeah! A moment." Khairi bought some bubble water and gave it to the children. He also bought ice cream for them.

"Together, where is your home?"

"So there," point to one of the older children. Aydin nodded to look at the village that the child had appointed earlier.

"If you play not far away, yes! Yes, I want to go home first. You guys be careful."

"Yes, Om. Thank you." Thank you."

Khairi left them and headed back towards the highway. He wanted to find a taxi to return home. However, from a distance the man could see there was a car that he seemed familiar with. Khairi tries to remember who the owner of the vehicle is and eventually the man finds out if it is his men's car.

"When were they there? They must have followed me" muttered Khairi

Khairi waved at the car. The driver who understood also approached his superior. Without asking much, Khairi entered the back of the car. The man breathed a few times.

Seeing the smile of the children, made him forget a little about his problem. Although they are unable to solve the problem, at least they can relieve stress.

"My ear goes home" said Khairi leaning back and closing his eyes. Without asking too many questions, the driver drove the car.

"Who commands you to follow me?" khairi asked the two men in front of her.

"Sir Ivan" answered one of them.

Khairi. The assistant always cared. He had previously ordered her to leave him. Ivan had only worked with him for two years, but he knew very well what his boss needed.

"How's my car? Have you guys taken care of it?"

"Already, Sir. One of our friends took him to Mr. Ivan's apartment."

"You seem to be following his orders very much" Khairi said as well as sneering.

"Master Ivan paid us, sir. So we have to obey him."

"It's not him who paid you, but me" Khairi sidelines in annoyance. Maybe they praised Ivan when he spent a lot of money.

Maybe this is the fate of a superior who is all worked by his assistant. Those people thought that his assistant was the one who spent a lot of money, when the money came from him, but the man thought that even if Khairi himself took care of everything was also not necessarily going well so, so, he just let people say what they say.

"You're preparing for a wedding that's going to take place in two weeks. The event must be very lively, if necessary broadcast live on national television," Khairi ordered.

"Ready, Sir."

Khairi will continue to prepare for the wedding. It was up to Afrin to refuse him, he would try to convince the girl that everything would be fine.
