Smiles and Wounds

The green grassy expanse of land stretches along the entire view. Among the mounds of green grass that is always neatly maintained is lined with a pusara. Rendi crouched and bowed to the equator looking at the green land with a board bearing the names of his parents buried in the same burrow and beside the tomb of his parents there is the pusara of his late wife. He sprinkled roses and white flowers as a prayer companion. Alongside Rendi, Arka also prayed for her grandfather, grandmother, and mother whom she had never met.

After he finished the prayer, Rendi invited Arka to leave the funeral. Rendi brought the son back home.

...ΩΩΩ...

This morning Daisha was a bit busier than usual. Since last night, he and his mother are preparing various orders of rice kenduri ordered by Bu RT.

''You didn't go to college, Sha?'' ask Rahayu's mother.

''No, ma'am. Just waiting for the graduation schedule.''

''Thankful. You eat first gih, it's still rice and side dishes.''

''Yes, ma. I'll just rest now, let Daisha finish.''

''We work together to finish quickly. You should have rested, from last night you came home from work has helped mom.''

''Mother take it easy, this mother's child is not wonder woman.'' Daisha joked.

''Sha, after your lecture is finished later, you should just quit your job, mother does not have the heart to see you hard work banging bones like this.'' said Rahayu's mother.

''Mom just pray that Daisha can get a better job with the diploma that Daisha has.''

''Aamiin, I always pray for you.''

''It's almost ten o'clock, shower gih later you are late for work.''

''Yes, ma. Daisha will be in the afternoon at work.''

The kenduri rice order is ready to be delivered. Daisha began to put each box of food into the butut car of his late father.

After finishing her order, Daisha immediately prepared to leave for work. He was riding his favorite motorcycle. He parked his motorbike in a row that was specifically for employees.

Daisha steps surely towards the locker to store her jacket and bag. After that, he rushed to fulfill his duty. Daisha was in charge of cleaning every room upstairs.

As he was about to wipe the window, he again saw the handsome little boy he met in the parking lot yesterday. The boy walked alone again. Daisha who saw that, grumbled inwardly. How could the parents of the boy let his son wander alone here. Moreover, the office is not a good environment for children his age. His human spirit rebelled immediately. Slowly he approached the handsome boy. Just as Daisha was about to approach her, Daisha saw a wooden shelf towering in the hallway of her office almost collapse. Daisha quickly ran and pulled the boy.

Bruk!!

''Aw!'' shout Daisha. Daisha's left leg was pinned down by the ruins of a wooden shelf.

''Mama!'' said the little man.

''You're okay, right?'' ask Daisha. And the boy nodded in response.

''Thank God.'' Daisha grimaces with pain. At once the people who were near the scene were flocking to immediately help Daisha and Arka.

Arka survived the ruins of a wooden shelf and was in the deck of Daisha.

''Please save this child.'' said Daisha.

''Call the nurse immediately!'' scream someone.

''Den Arka!'' said the security guard who just came to the crowd.

Rendi came to the treatment room provided for his employees if they had a work accident like this.

''Arka!'' yelled Rendi worried.

''Are you okay, son?'' Arka just shook her head at her papa's question.

Rendi's view was diverted to someone who was in the care of one of the nurses.

''Thank you for saving my son.'' said Rendi without looking at the hero figure of saving his son's life.

''You!'' said Rendi back after seeing Daisha raise her face.

''You deliberately wanted to harm my son!'' snapped Rendi.

Daisha was silent, eager to reply to all the scathing remarks of her boss. However, the wound on his leg was enough to make him painful and eliminate his lust for speech.

Rendi also saw the look on Daisha's face which seemed to be in a lot of pain.

''Take him to the hospital.'' said Rendi saw Daisha's wounds were quite severe.

''OK, sir.'' said the nurse.

Daisha repeatedly tried to get up and stand up to reach the wheelchair the doctor had prepared. However, the wound on his leg made him unable to stand up let alone walk.

''Mama!'' arka approached Daisha. Rendi and Daisha are shocked to hear Arka's words.

Arka looked at sad Daisha. Then Arka carries her papa's hand to lift Daisha's body. Rendi was upset but she also still had a sense of humanity towards others.

''No need to sir. I can do it myself.'' said Daisha felt bad. Daisha tried to get up on her own with the help of a nurse but she again felt pain. Arka just looked at Daisha's face and blinked her eyes.

''Still don't need help?'' ask Rendi.

Daisha was silent, to be honest, she had difficulty standing up. However, he was still annoyed by the arrogant attitude of his boss.

''Let's go up to my back.''

''Come on, why shut up!'' Rendi spoke again because Daisha had just been quiet.

''Can't you see my feet hurt? If I have to go up to my father's back, it hurts more.'' said Daisha.

''Continue?''

''Keep crashing.'' said Daisha annoyed.

''You!'' gertak Rendi's.

''My father of intention did not heck? Gendong dong.'' said Daisha smiling cunningly. In his mind, he intended to prank his arrogant boss.

''Come, sir. Gendong.'' said Daisha stretched out both hands like a child asking for a sling.

Rendi was annoyed at Daisha. However, his son again pleaded with expectant eyes and repeatedly blinked his eyes giving orders. Rendi is forced to hold Daisha ala bridal style and bring it to the bottom floor. Arka clapped her hands and smiled happily to see her papa holding Daisha.

Along the way to the elevator, whispers were being spouted from the mouths of employees who saw his famous boss so cold and arrogant as he carried an office girl.
