There is no word in this world more beautiful than the word love. There is no greater work than to love. There is no more special gift than being loved. Quite a few strands of the word give the understanding that, love is formed simply. But is it that simple? If it were that simple, maybe I wouldn't let you love you in the first place. However, all of this is out of my control.
''Pak Rendi.'' said Daisha.
''Hm.'' replied Rendi who was still looking at Daisha's face fixedly.
''I will wait for Father and Arka here.'' said Daisha after a long silence and took off his hand from his hand.
''We go home now, next time we come here again.'' said Rendi who walked back to the direction his car was.
Along the way to the house, the three of them dissolved in silence. Only occasional babbles from Arka and little answers from Daisha colored the atmosphere of the trip. The rest, they went back to silence and dissolved in their respective minds. Until the evening before, Daisha also spent more time to accompany Arka to study and play. Daisha also laid her body on Arka's bed. He hugged the boy so tightly.
''Mama, why was mama angry at the tomb of oma and opa?'' ask Arka.
''No dear, my mother is not angry, Daisha replied as she gently stroked Arka.
''Mama, even though Arka is not your biological child, but Arka loves you very much. Arka wants mama Daisha to be a mama for Arka.'' said Arka.
''Thank you, dear. Mama also loves Arka.''
''Now Arka sleeps yes, it's night.''
''Yes, ma.''
Daisha's hands unceasingly stroked the soft top of Arka's head. But his mind drifted somewhere. The shadow of the father's face of the boy in his arms always flashed without permission and colonized the taste in his mind. As she was trying to erode her feelings, why did the man bring her into such a difficult state for her. He should be happy, he should be happy. However, his memory again fluttered when he accidentally heard Rendi's remark that he would never betray the love of his late wife. Daisha was stunned in silence, until her tears welled up her smooth cheeks. He quickly wiped away the tears that escaped from his eyes. In his heart, he was afraid. Afraid that he would just be an escape. Afraid that he would become a shadow.
Hearing the sound of footsteps getting closer to him, Daisha quickly closed her eyes.
With a careful step, Rendi slowly entered into Arka's room. He tidied up a blanket to cover the body of his son and the woman who had managed to tear down his ego. For a moment he looked at the dark face that was sleeping.
''Pak Rendi.'' said Daisha opened her eyes slowly.
''Just continue sleeping, I will return to the room.'' said Rendi walking out of Arka's room.
''Pak Rendi, wait!'' said Daisha.
''Can we talk for a minute?'' tanya Daisha got up and walked following Rendi's steps.
''We go to my workspace only.'' replied Rendi.
''Well, sir.'' said Daisha following Rendi's footsteps.
''Please sit.''
''Thank you, sir.''
''What do you want to say?'' asked Rendi so he sat himself on a chair at his desk.
''I want to apologize about the incident earlier.'' said Daisha bowed.
''Sorry if I am selfish and do not know myself.'' continued Daisha.
Rendi watched every word that came out of the woman's mouth in front of her. Feeling so noticed, Daisha's hands suddenly became cold, she squeezed the ends of her clothes to gather the remnants of her courage faced with the boss and the man who had managed to damage her feelings.
''There is no need to apologize, I was wrong.'' said Rendi by continuing to look fixed bead eyes belonging to Daisha.
''Sir, may I ask you one thing?'' ask Daisha with a little stammer.
''Why did the father take me to the navel belonging to the father's parents and the late wife?'' ask Daisha with all her courage.
''I will introduce you to them, replied Rendi coldly.
''For what? And as what?'' ask Daisha back.
Rendi was silent again. He looked at the woman in front of him who was increasingly downcast and seemed to be trying to avoid his gaze.
''Do you need an explanation?'' ask Rendi.
''Yes. I need an explanation from father.'' replied Daisha.
''We need words to explain our feelings. We have to talk and stop hiding our hearts and look for answers to our feelings, Daisha said in a trembling tone.
''Isn't my presence enough to answer?'' ask Rendi.
Daisha lowered her head, as much as possible she held back her tears so as not to fall back a second time in front of the man she loved.
''Coincidentally. Coincidence is not something that is considered an understatement, but a coincidence that seems to have been planned very well by HIM. As we feel now. The coincidence that brought you present in my life and Arka. It was a coincidence that made me lower my ego and re-open my heart. And a coincidence, because from that moment on your presence makes Arka's life cheerful again. Not only Arka, but also for me, said Rendi who has now knelt before Daisha.
Slowly he took the woman into his arms. He clasped his fingers tightly, as if afraid to slip and disappear. He kissed that soft forehead. He held his arms fast and he let the woman in his arms cry with a burning feeling.
There was a light of beauty that gushed, shaking the heart. There was a warm feeling that gushed into the pulse. The silence of love that has made the chest tight until finally gulped the beautiful story.
''We have to thank Arka, so I can realize my feelings for you all along.'' said Rendi after the cry of Daisha slightly subsided.
Daisha raised her head and stared questioningly at the man before her.
''Yes, thanks to Arka I was able to open my heart back.'' said Rendi.
''When you're on holiday and go home mom..''
*FLASHBACK*
''Papa, Arka entered yes.'' said Arka opened the door of his father's room.
''Yes, darling. Come in, answered Rendi.
''Papa, let's go to Rahayu's house. Let's go after mama!'' arka whine.
''Okay, but papa take a shower first. Papa still smells of exercise. Arka wait here first yes.'' said Rendi.
''Hooray! Yes, pa.'' cheer Happy Ark.
After Rendi went to the bathroom to clean her body, Arka played and ran around her parents' room. Until accidentally, he slipped a little and hit a closet near the exit to the balcony room.
''Ouch!'' arka shouted alternately holding his knees and head that was hit by an object that fell from the top of the closet.
''Archa! What's wrong with you, son?'' asked Rendi who had just come out of the bathroom and was surprised to see her son fall.
''At the Arka kepleset, pah. Because of this closet, uh Arka's head was also hit by this.'' said Arka by showing a small wooden box with carved flowers there.
''We treat it first, yes. Papa get the medicine first.'' said Rendi walked to find a P3K box in his room and put the wooden box on the nightstand near his bed.
