"Where is this?" Dean said when he realized he was in a place that was completely foreign to him.
Darkened. That's all he could see. Blacker. It was as if no other color could illuminate his surroundings. Even so dark, he could not see himself.
"Why is everything dark? Where'sme? And what happened?" Questions just popped into his mind.
Slowly. Very slowly he stepped forward trying to find the light that could hopefully shine his way. Raib. He could not find the light he was looking for.
"Where's this? Why am I here? Shouldn't I be sleeping? As I recall, I just closed my eyes and fell asleep. But why am I suddenly here?" Various questions sprung up in his mind, leaving him perplexed. His head wandered all around, but again only dark could he get.
"Am I still in my room? But why is it so dark and cold?" He monologued as he continued to go very slowly, trying to walk very carefully so as not to fall.
"Vice?" He called out to hope that the albino man who became his best friend was among him.
"Taz?" There was no answer at all, only silence.
"Marco? Nero's? Where're y'all?" Dean called them again, and there was still no answer. He's totally alone.
"Where are they? Why don't they exist?" Mumbled Dean. His hand slowly began to move around him, but all he felt was a vacuum. "What really happened, and why did I get here all of a sudden?" Dean ingrained.
"Is this a dream? But why would I realize something like this? As if I wasn't really dreaming?" Dean was silent in his place. He tried to digest every event that he experienced.
Dean's focus instantly shifted when suddenly a very bright and dazzling light shone on him. The light that made Dean had to cover his face with his two hands to reduce the light that entered into his pupils.
A TAP! A TAP! A TAP!
He could faintly hear a footstep coming from the direction where the light appeared. Dean could not see his figure, as the light was too dazzling to his eyes.
"Finally you arrived too" a man said right in front of him. And along with that, the figure of the man who only looked like a silhouette, was now standing exactly one meter away from him.
Somehow Dean felt if the voice he heard sounded familiar in his ears. Dean seemed to have heard his voice, but somewhere he had heard it. Dean can't remember.
Slowly Dean raised his head, lowered his hands that covered his face in order to see the man before him. It was blurry at first, but afterwards, Dean could clearly see his figure. He was surprised not to play when he realized who was currently standing before him.
Rei's. The man was standing right in front of him. Rei stood straight right there. Staring at Dean while smiling knot.
"Rei?" Dean frowned. What he was looking for were his four best friends, but why did Rei appear instead.
"Why am I here? Where are my friends? And where are the others? Why is it just you and me?" Dean asked, he really wanted to know what was going on with him and his four other best friends. His four friends are missing somewhere.
"They've been waiting for you since. Why did you just arrive now?"
"waiting me? Where's?"
"In a beautiful place. They're waiting for you while having fun in a beautiful place. A place they can only find here."
"I don't understand what you're saying. Why am I here? What's going on?"
"You're here because of my invitation" Rei said, leaving Dean even more confused.
"Invitation? Whatchu mean?"
"Yes an invitation to come here. To a place you could never find his whereabouts."
"What's? I really don't understand what you're saying! Where is this?"
"Believe it or not, this is a dream world."
"W-what?" Dean couldn't believe what he was hearing. The dream world he said? Oh, that's right. Is there such a thing in this world? Dean had even just heard of such a ridiculous thing.
"I know you don't believe what I'm saying, but let's see this," Rei slowly moved his hand, as if waving through the air. And along with that, the surrounding conditions turned into a beautiful star-studded night sky. Dean stood with him in a green meadow. It was as if he was in a very thick field of flowers. Everything feels so real. Dean could even feel the cold night wind.
The wind blew, making both of his hands move around hugging his own body. His eyes were still staring at Rei, and the man was now staring at him briefly before then moving his hands back. But this time, he flicked his finger which instantly made the situation turn into a blue sky during a very bright day. Dean was on the verge of confusion, he really could not understand what he had just seen.
There he saw Rei again moving his hand, making another gesture which then made them back in the same dark room as before. Everything black. All around him that's all Dean can see.
"W-was that what I just saw?" Dean ingrained.
"What you saw just now was what was on my mind. I can control the dream and I can invite someone to come and enter my dream," Rei who can hear Dean's inner voice then replied. It made Dean shocked and speechless.
"Huft~" Rei sighed there. "If you still don't believe me, come with me. And I will show you that this world is indeed a dream world that I created," said Rei who then turned around and left. Dean did not answer, but he had no choice but to follow where the man was going.
With a slow step, Dean walked following Rei from behind. They waltzed toward the dazzling bright light that was originally right behind Rei. The bright light of the place where Rei had just suddenly appeared and spoke something that even he could not understand. Dean could see the light getting brighter and brighter.
