Perfect'S My Husband

Perfect'S My Husband
19.I'm Serious

The journey takes an hour, Emily begins to feel tired because Edwin takes her so far. But the fatigue was gone when nature presented a very amazing view. A gust of wind greeted Emily's white skin, her smile curving beautifully from her two thin lips.

"I know that in the city we have a beautiful beach view like this." Emily muttered while touching the white sand.

"This place belongs to me, if you like, next time I'll take you again." said Edwin happy. Somehow only now Edwin felt if this was a smile that could make his heart warm deep.

"I've never enjoyed life like this for a long time. Edwin..thank you." said sincerely Emily. Netra eyes from the two of them look at each other meaningfully. "Don't look at me like that...!" exclaim Emily was nervous. The woman then turned her gaze away staring into the open ocean. "Edwin.." call Emily in her soft voice.

"Hmmm." the man replied without opening his mouth.

"Can you embrace the vast ocean?" the woman asked senselessly.

Edwin frowned deeply, "No, there won't be a single human being capable of embracing the ocean." replied Edwin astonished.

"Then, what about someone's heart?" her face was grim, the sense Emily had right now was too deep. The woman had been far enamored of the widow's charm.

"Do you like someone?" ask Edwin back. He's not a stupid guy who's insensitive to Emily's feelings.

"Do I look like that?" Emily asked with a crisp, forced laugh.

Edwin pursed his lips, "Do you like me?" edwin asked immediately to make Emily's body stiff. His throat was thick and unable to answer the man's question. There was only the sound of the waves as well as the whistling of birds that broke the silence between the two human children.

Emily rubbed into her two hands, gusts of wind in the autumn plus the gusts of the beach had so far pierced her skin. "I want to play water, I haven't played on the beach in a long time." Emily tried to divert the question from Edwin. The woman then slightly moved away from Edwin's position.

Edwin put his two hands in his pants pocket. Look at the woman who is playing with water. The beautiful hair in the wind blow makes the wait for Emily more captivating. "You're not the beach lying Emily." muttered the man with his warm smile.

Some time they play water, then Edwin invites Emily to go to the Villa which is a kilo from the beach. "Gee......" Emily flabbergasted. "If I have a lot of money, I prefer to stay here away from the crowds and the noise of the vehicles." the woman said as she looked around the Villa.

"That means you have to marry a rich man!" edwin made Emily speechless. The originally cheerful face now looks lethargic. "You why?" ask Edwin wonder.

"I can't marry a rich man. My life is not a novel story." said Emily then chose to walk towards the pool.

"Why is it impossible?" edwin asked, beginning to investigate the woman.

"Are you talking about yourself?" Edwin tried to guess and made Emily wrong.

"What do you mean?" the woman's flat voice suddenly dominated her question.

"You're not good at lying Emily, I'm a normal guy and I can be sensitive every time you say every word." Edwin said casually. The man also sat on the bench right at the pool.

Emily looked down embarrassed, the woman's heart had been caught red-handed. In any case, Emily will not be able to forget Edwin's charm. "If I say I like you how?" edwin's question made Emily look up. The eagle's eyes and Emily's eyes stared at each other deeply with questions.

"Don't joke about Edw's feelings....!" exclaim Emily then throw her gaze into the pool.

"I'm serious...!" the firm voice again made Emily stunned, her heart rate racing very fast, as well as Edwin. "I've been married and I'm a widower, but one thing you need to know is that if I never touch Catrina one bit." the guy's crush made Emily's mouth gap in disbelief.

"But, the rumors are going around.....?" her voice was thick, Emily did not continue her words.

Edwin laughed crisply, neat white teeth adding to the charm of the man. "Ah..so sweet...!" emily's mind churned.

"Catrina player, I accidentally married her and divorced her on that day to make the woman aware of her dirty behavior. However, Catrina instead took advantage of the stupidity I made. I didn't fuck her, I just embarrassed her when I found all the evidence of her depravity." Edwin made Emily distrustful.

"Then, why don't you dismiss all the charges directed at you?" emily asked, not understanding the man's way of thinking.

"Let others assume anything about me. I was not affected at all while I was eating not begging them. The outsider only knows how to picture our lives from people's stories without looking directly." the man said wisely to make Emily even more amazed at Edwin. "Emily, about me liking you, I'm not lying" Edwin said calmly. The glare of the eyes gave a warmth, crashing in every silence created.

Edwin then glanced at the circular clock in his hand, "It's noon, let's have lunch. You must be hungry. I've prepared lunch for both of us." Edwin said, then pulled Emily's hand to invite her into the Villa.

No wonder for Emily if Edwin has prepared a fancy lunch for her. This man has the power to give orders to his workers.

Lunch this time accompanied by silence, Emily still digested every word that Edwin uttered. "Like me" Emily's inner. "Is Edwin making jokes?" some questions came to Emily's mind. Edwin who had noticed the look on the face of the woman in front of him could only hold back the laughter that he had been holding.

After lunch, Edwin told Emily to rest for a while because this afternoon he would take Emily to see the sunset somewhere that would amaze Emily.
