When asked if Elliot ever got a lie, the answer was never. As far as Neptune—Elliot means, able to remember in so many billion years of his life, not counting how many lies he received.

Let's flash back when Elliot was given a human form by his mother, Mentari.

The mother said that by having the shape, Elliot would be able to explore space without worrying about leaving his orbit.

Elliot, who was young at that time, believed the words of the Mother. Elliot sometimes throws a tantrum, leaving his orbit by accident because he's too far away to explore other galaxies.

His brothers were angry, but not with his mother. The mother still acts softly to him. There was no anger on his face. That made him believe that his mother was the best. But—

⟨Neptune! Go, run! What are you waiting for?!⟩

The voice of his brothers touched him when Elliot was stunned to see his mother wrathful at that moment. The tongue of fire licked and gushed out in all directions. Destroying some of the celestial objects that were nearby.

"B-but, brother...."

Elliot is doubtful. Has the mother lied to them all this time? The mother does not love them?

⟨Mentari is no longer our Mother, forget!⟩

His brothers' hands pulled him away from the raging sun. Protect yourself by moving away from orbit.

Elliot and his brothers separated as they descended to Earth. In a different era and in a different place.

Neptune is desperate to adapt to the inhabitants of the earth. He even used his alias, Elliot. He lived for hundreds of years lying to them that he was like them.

Nature cannot lie. The people around him age, then die. While Elliot can never grow old, he can still die. It can only die in the hands of Mentari or other celestial bodies.

Lies. Falsehoods. Be lied to. Deceiving. As if this had become commonplace in his life. He wanted to believe in his mother again. Even though the Mother does not want it.

Elliot wanted to believe in the earthlings, even though they lied to him with various ruse. Not once or twice he experienced it. For hundreds of years, he constantly experienced it.

The bentala sometimes tired of all the lies, tired of being lied to, tired of lying. But, will everything be better? No. gabe.

Although honest is better, but he will not be trusted anyway. Earthling is like that.

Earthling will not accept other creatures around them. That's what he knows.

Although in reality they also annihilate their neighbors who have differences with themselves. Lying has always been a part of his day.

Maybe, someday. Elliot will be honest with them. Honest to himself. Although bitter that he will receive, but it will at least taste better.

But no matter when, it will happen as it is now. Elliot himself was tired of lying. He wants to be honest. No more lying, lying, or living a life full of lies.

His near-eternal life was cold, empty, and boring. Like what happened in the flashback of his life.
