Arcturus stared at the books on his desk and sighed softly. His job as a High School history teacher was forgotten for several weeks, and made his students have to learn on their own with a myriad of tasks that he gave.
It's not without reason that Arcturus did that. Since his meeting with William, then Elliot, he decided to take a break from his job as a teacher. However, the school is reluctant to release their best educators. Be, Arcturus was given time to just rest and had to come back later.
Three months. Time to complete all this. But Arcturus himself knew that it was impossible to complete all this within three months.
"At the end of the day things will end badly" Arcturus murmured as he recalled what happened some time ago.
He warns Elliot and William about their involvement in Clarissa's case. Unfortunately the family of planets furthest from the solar system was not budging at all. They keep intervening and Arcturus can make sure that soon they will be faced with a life or death fight.
Like the Mortal Kombat competition, winning will succeed while the losers will die. Arcturus was already aware of that when he began the forbidden ritual of uniting himself with Medusa's murderous demigod, Perseus.
And now, things are getting worse. The Gods had descended from their thrones and passed through the gates of the god realm towards the earth.
BRAK!!
Arcturus punched a wooden door nearby. If the estimation was not wrong, then it was certain that a big battle would occur soon. The fate of humans and non-human beings will be at stake here.
"Xenos?" the woman's soft voice rang out and made the red-haired man immediately turn his head in the direction that called out his asthma. "You look pale, are you okay?"
A navy-colored long-haired woman moved closer. His hand brought a cup of coffee that was still puffing smoke. In the other hand was a plate of sandwiches.
Cleo Davis Mycenae, the woman's name, was not long ago the wife of Arcturus. However, the woman knew very well the life story of the man from a to z. Cleo placed her breakfast on a small table beside Arcturus' desk, her tiny ranum opened and threw a question.
"You think of Clarissa and those people?"
The people in question were certainly members of the Association. Arcturus let out a rough sigh. I don't like to say this kind of thing actually.
"They've turned my sister into a killer doll." There was a pause in her sentence before it resumed. "If it's like this, I can't save Clarissa from the curse anymore."
Cleo was not unaware of the situation. But at this time, he was more concerned about the physical condition of Arcturus who looked less good.
"Breakfast first, huh? I'll treat your wounds later, "Cleo put coffee and sandwiches on Arcturus.
Arcturus certainly did not need to ask how Cleo could realize there were injuries to his body. Two years of living with Cleo, he realizes that the woman is too sensitive to awkward things. Even in one look, Cleo could tell anything she was hiding. Wounds from battle or side effects from magic.
"Alright," he picked up a cup of coffee and began sipping it slowly. His power reached out to one sandwich and ate it voraciously. "Don't kid!"
"Of course," Cleo seemed proud of Arcturus' praise. "So, who are you fighting with this time?"
The sudden question from Cleo made Arcturus have to finish his breakfast as quickly as possible. Don't want to lose your impromptu taste buds from telling you shitty things that hurt her.
"Hey, slow down. You'll choke later," Cleo reminded her husband.
"Where can? I don't want to lose my appetite because of that jerk!" arcturus answered as he finished his food and drink.
"Would that be your opponent?"
"You are, if it's related to your sister, you must have said very badly," Cleo said, which sounded like a complaint.
"Content! He's just making Clarissa's condition worse!" Arcturus seems not to budge.
"Let me guess, your opponent is Poseidon?" Cleo pointed her fingers at Arcturus.
There was a snort from Arcturus Xenos Mycenae's asthma. Cleo came to the conclusion that her husband was indeed fighting with the name he mentioned earlier.
"Your wounds were obtained from his attack?" once again Cleo asked, but this time Arcturus shook his head.
"This is a wound that arises from the use of my magic," answered Arcturus without covering up.
"You're using ban magic again?" Cleo narrowed her eyes.
"How else, my opponent is a God." Arcturus defended himself.
"Do you have to use it?"
"There's no other choice, Cleo."
That answer left Cleo speechless and stunned for a long time. A moment later, he sighed.
"Let me fight her," Cleo said, immediately drawing a protest from her husband.
"Huh, that's right! You know who you're fighting?!"
"Know, but I can't let you use forbidden magic continuously, Xenos. Dangerous to your body," Cleo charged firmly. "Let me fight it, you rest."
"No, I won't let you fight him, Cleo."
"XENO!"
"I said no yes no. Understand the situation, Cleo."
With the decree, the long-haired woman did not dare to argue again her husband. He breathed and nodded his head.
"Alright, but if your condition gets worse than it is now, I won't stay silent" Cleo said earnestly. "I'll go through the gates of the divine realm, and I'll ruffle until they don't dare to come to earth."
Cleo growling. He really looks angry. Arcturus also sighed.
"I promise, I won't push myself." The power was stretched out and gently rubbed Cleo's head. "Rest."
Cleo headed to the bedroom. Leaving Arcturus still in the workspace. The red-haired man sighed.
Fortunately Cleo could persuade him. Otherwise, it ruined all the plans he had put together a while ago. He was planning something that would most likely change his sister's destiny. And people nearby too.
