Please, Love Me

Please, Love Me
Seeing Again

No day went by Fitri in the hospital without Hendri's figure, the man was always on standby to look after him, even the job that should have required Hendri, but the man preferred to accompany Fitri every day without leaving her.

"Mas, aren't you tired?" asked Fitri suddenly when Hendri was tidying up a blanket that covered half Fitri's body.

Hendri looked at Fitri for a moment then smiled thinly without answering the question.

"Mass?" call again.

"Yes?"

"Why are you quiet?"

"If you can see my face now, you'll know if I'm tired or not."

"But unfortunately I can't see, so that's why I asked."

"I wouldn't be here if I felt tired."

That was how their conversation went, almost every day Fitri kept asking if Hendri was tired or not, but he only got one word answer that is not.

"Mas, do you know Angel's whereabouts now? I haven't heard from him since the accident" asked Fitri again as he was about to get ready for bed.

"I can't reach him, maybe he has changed the number he used to use often" replied Hendri flatly.

Fitri sighed heavily, a little disappointed as to why her best friend had never told her.

Shortly after the conversation, Fitri's phone rang indicating the entry of a call, due to an accident, Fitri's phone looks cracked, but can still be used to just pick up the phone.

"Mas, can you see what name is on there?" Fitri asked Hendri for help because he could not see who was calling him.

Hendri went up and looked at Fitri's phone. "No name, this number seems to be from a foreign country." Give the phone to its owner.

"Hello," said Fitri a little hesitant.

"Hello, Fit. You haven't slept, have you? It's me Angel." There was a woman's voice across the phone.

"Angel's? Oh God, you've been anywhere, why just tell me now?" Fitri seemed pleased after recognizing the voice of her best friend.

"I'm in Japan now, Fit. Suddenly left at that time, not having time to tell you. My grandfather passed away and I was asked by my father to stay here with my grandmother while continuing S2 in Japan. I'm sorry, Fit," Angel explained.

"It's okay, hearing you is fine, I'm relieved enough, thankfully you still want to call me." Fitri smiled.

"Then what about you, you're okay, right?" angel asked back.

The smile that had been blotting out, had now turned into a bitter smile. "I'm .. I'm fine," he replied lying, not wanting to worry his best friend.

"It's good if you're okay, I can be calmer, maybe in the future we will be very long to be reunited, you keep your health, Fit. I'm sorry I couldn't keep you company while working at the hospital." Angel's voice was weak.

Fitri again incised a thin smile, a little sad when Angel said that they would be very old to be reunited, but also quite good, Angel said, at least at this time Angel will not know that he is currently blind.

"You just focus on your studies, don't think about me, here I am fine," he said as he continued to try to hold back the tightness, powerless to hold back the sadness of losing a friend even if only temporarily, he said, but still for a long time.

~~

Hendri nodded seriously, making the doctor can only sigh resignedly, he could not prevent the decision that had been made by Hendri.

After two weeks of post-coma treatment, Fitri has decided to undergo a cornea transplant.

Fitri seemed to be smiling happily, finally he could look back again.

"Mas, thank you for standing by me all this time, after I can see again, I will make you a special meal a sign of my gratitude for what you have done during my treatment, please wait for me, please, yes," said Fitri with a heart that is so flowering and impatient again.

Hendri stroked the woman's hair gently, smiling brightly. "Surely, I will wait for you until then."

The operation went well, but at that time, Fitri no longer heard Hendri's voice in his room.

"Sus, do you know where the man I've been with all this time? Why haven't I heard his voice since I realized the dope's influence."

"Oh, that guy. He told me to replace him while taking care of you, there is an urgent need to be resolved" replied the nurse while checking on Fitri's condition.

A week later.

Fitri's eye bandage will be removed immediately, slowly Fitri opened his eyes and a blurry look began to look until over time to be bright, he can see the number and faces of people in the room.

"How's it?" ask doctor.

Fitri smiled with excitement. "I can see again, Doc. I can see again" he said repeatedly so happy.

"Good, now you do not work hard first, apply foods that are rich in fiber and balanced, so that your eyes are also healthy." Everyone in the room was happy for the success of the operation.

"Doctor, did Mas Hendri not come today?" asked Fitri who immediately remembered the man.

"I don't know, but for sure before he left, he asked me to do my best for your surgery, he's a pretty sincere guy. Don't waste it." The doctor smiled, then turned around and left the room after making sure everything was okay.

Not long after the bandage was opened, after the doctor's departure from the room, the door was opened violently by someone.

"Bak Andini?" Fitri furrowed her eyebrows in disbelief. Why did she suddenly come to see him.

"Basin' cheap women!" he shouted while walking quickly towards Fitri.

"Mom, what's wrong with you?" tanya Fitri panicked to see the look on Andini's face that was so angry.

"Bas shithead, give Mas Hendri his eyes back, how dare you take it for granted, who do you think you are, huh?" Andini strangled Fitri's neck strongly, making the woman seem to want to lose her breath.

"Mbak, release. We can sue you for disturbing the patient's peace." The two nurses who were still there immediately pulled both hands of Andini until they were released.

Fitri coughed in pain. His head suddenly felt dizzy.

"Mas Hen ...," he wrote in a blurry vision. All he had in mind this time was Hendri. Until he was unconscious that second, about Andini, he could not remember it anymore.

Don't forget the likes, guys.

See you
