"Doctor, why didn't you say from the beginning that the donor was Hendri himself? Why didn't you ask me for my approval before the surgery?" Fitri looked annoyed with a flushed face.
"It's his own will, I just do what he asks" replied the concerned doctor, but also could not do much. He had tried to cover up, but still the lie was smelled by Fitri.
Despite not fully recovering, Fitri decided to get out of the hospital, he tote his bag of clothes leaving the doctor in the room without saying anything more.
"It's really crazy, why do you have to do all this, Mas?" His eyes continued to glare far at the row of towering buildings along the way using a taxi, he just remained petrified in the back seat, occasionally observing some cars that preceded the taxi car he was riding.
"I wish you were still there" he muttered in a thin voice.
The taxi driver heard and watched him through the rearview mirror. "Well, are you okay?" tanyakanya.
"It's okay, sir. Continue to focus only on the goal," replied Fitri flatly.
"His face was pale so, was it possible that he had not eaten yet? Want to stop by to eat first? I'm afraid Mbak is not even strong if forced to keep going." The driver seemed unable to see the look on Fitri's face that was not excited.
"I'm fine, sir. Go on, I won't do anything." It looks weak, not only outside, actually in the heart it is so, he is weak after knowing the reality that benefits him, but even so harms others.
If he can choose, he wants to remain invisible rather than having Hendri who replaces the position. Has he been too selfish all this time? The man repeatedly apologized to him, but he always gave hurtful words, always bringing up Hendri's mistakes while he forgot his own mistakes against the man, which he may unconsciously do often.
It did not feel like tears were dripping, unexpectedly, the first person who cared about him was the person he had always been checking would be the most tormented mass, as if he was the most tormented, to forget how tormented others will be his childish attitude.
"Bak crying?" asked the driver again, still monitoring Fitri at the back.
Immediately the woman wiped her tears and sighed heavily. "I'm fine, don't mind me, sir."
Before long, the car stopped in front of a two-story house, with a towering iron fence.
The security guard, who recognized Fitri, immediately opened the fence so that the woman could go inside.
"Thank you, Mang" Fitri said with a friendly smile.
"Together, Non."
Fitri looked back at the house, he doubted whether he could meet Hendri or not, afraid he was even expelled by the Hendri family.
"Assalamu'alaikum," he said as he pressed the bell beside the door.
Before long the door opened, the housekeeper smiled at him.
"Who are you looking for, Ma'am?" tanyanya who does not recognize Fitri because it has only two weeks working there.
"I want to find Mas Hendri, is he here?" ask Fitri politely.
"Mr Hendri, huh? Mm ...." The waiter seemed to be scratching his nape doubtfully.
"Who, Bik?" There was a familiar voice from inside.
"This, Non. The ma'am is looking for Mr. Hendri."
Again they again face to face, this time Andini seemed more able to hold back his emotions when he saw the woman who came.
"Well what else did you come here, huh? Still not satisfied? What else do you want to take, you want Hendri's heart? You want him dead, don't you, actually?" The woman crossed her hands in front of her chest while staring at the cynical and disgusted Fitri.
"Look at the situation? Hng, in other words you want to laugh at him, right? You're happy to see that he can't see anymore, this is what you want, right, cheap girl?" cibir Andini furiously ignited.
"Mbak, please. No matter what you want to think about me, I want to meet Mas Hendri for a moment, that's all" he asked with a look that looked so sad.
"As long as I'm here, I won't let you see him."
"You're a fucking carrier woman!" hardiknya again without caring about the feelings of Fitri.
"Sir, please let me." Fitri grabbed Andini's hand really begging to be allowed to meet Hendri.
"Let go!" Andini brushed off her hand while pushing Fitri's body until she fell and hit the floor.
"Satpam Uncle!" yelled Andini with anger.
The security guard sprinted, a little late, he could be fired that second as well.
"Take this crazy woman away, you'll fire me if she gets in here again!" his word is so furious.
"Good, Non."
"Miss Fitri, forgive me." The middle-aged man seemed unbearable, but if he did not do as he was told, he was afraid he would be completely fired and then could not support his wife and children.
"I can wake up on my own, Mang." In a hurry, Fitri tried to get up on his own without help.
He resigned, out of the yard until locked by the fence without being able to enter again.
However, it did not make him give up, he wanted to keep waiting, although he did not know until when, at least he still had hope that he could meet Hendri again as long as he had enough patience to wait.
Fitri crouched down and leaned back on the iron fence, the day looked cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain, but did not make him give up on his waiting, he was still sure he could meet Hendri again.
"Non, you better go home, it's late and the sky looks cloudy, you can't take shelter here if it rains." The middle-aged man felt unbearable to see Fitri who continued to wait even for hours, the air felt cooler, he wanted to give Fitri in, but afraid when remembering the face of the Andini who continues to threaten his work.
"I'm okay, sir. Please don't throw me out, I just want to wait here and meet Mas Hendri."
"But, Non. Mr. Hendri also will not come down to see you, Mommy Andini will not tell you where you are here."
"It's okay, I'm sure he'll be aware of my existence." Fitri remained stoic with his beliefs.
The security guard can only resign and let Fitri do whatever he wants, at least he has given advice to go home, if the woman still wants to wait, then he can't do anything.
Sure enough, the night after the Maghrib prayer, the rain fell rapidly, until the tiny body began to shiver after an hour of rain without shelter.
"Well, how long can he survive under such a torrent of rain with just that little body of his?" muttered the security guard while observing Fitri from where his post was on guard.
"Sir, the little girl is still there waiting for you" said the waiter as he brought the dinner menu to Hendri's room.
"What's? This heavy rain is like he's still waiting?" Hendri really did not expect Fitri could be that determined just to want to meet him.
"Is he losing his brain? How could it be possible to let his weak body rain for hours?" batin Hendri was not out of thought. His hands clenched tightly, irritated as to why he could do nothing.
