After the funeral was over, Fitri returned home, which became the scene of a tragic incident that befell his mother.
Just arriving at the door, Fitri seemed unable to step again, it felt like a real nightmare. You can only wail, without being able to do anything.
In his composure, standing upright like a statue, there was a heart and mind that was chaotic, shattered into pieces of puree in the depths of the heart.
The weak body exhaled heavily, trying to resist the stifling chest attack to leave a clear bulb on the eyelids, speechless and without sound.
In the afternoon Fitri immediately remembered Hendri and their marriage. The body that had not been a glimmer of spirit and flowed on the table, now immediately moved from its place quickly.
"Mas Hendri, our marriage," inwardly.
Fitri quickly ran out of the house.
Without wanting to wait a long time, Fitri simply booked an ojek to drive her to the place where their wedding was supposed to take place.
Upon arrival there, with a pale face, he went inside, but all that was visible was the decoration team who was repairing the place and tidying it up.
There were no more invited guests, no relatives, nor was there any prospective husband she was looking for.
"Excuse me, has today's wedding been canceled?"
"Do you know where the groom went?" ask Fitri to one of the men there.
"cancelled? Who said it was cancelled? The wedding reception went smoothly without any obstacles. The bride and groom were gone an hour ago."
"Who is this boy?" asked the man confused because he did not recognize Fitri.
"Walking smoothly?" He began to not understand, thinking for a moment whether it was true that he entered the place that should be his marriage with Hendri.
"Sorry if I may know, is the groom named Hendri Fransisko?" ask again.
"Yes." Yeah."
Fitri was increasingly confused, he wanted to contact Hendri, but did not know where his phone fell.
"Then thank you, I go first." Fitri took himself and got out of that place.
As usual, when he got there the security guard smiled kindly and opened the fence for him.
Several times knocking on the door someone finally opened it.
"Mother." Fitri smiled when she saw that the person in the doorway was Bu Hajjah.
Bu Hajjah did not say anything, his face was flat and noticed Fitri's different appearance.
No more kebaya stuck to his body, there was only a suit of clothes and a black scarf coiled around his neck.
"Mother, is Mas Hendri inside? I want to talk to him" he said nervously. Actually he was a little afraid because he was aware of his mistake that went at the wedding without telling first, but he was really urgent, unthinkable to tell anyone about his mother's death. I was really panicking at that moment.
Bu Hajjah did not say anything, he only gave the address where Hendri was, did not explain anything that had happened at the wedding, especially did not tell about the state of Andini who was pregnant.
"You finish well, let Hendri explain to you, Mother will not interfere with what happened between you." After saying that Bu Hajjah went inside without letting Fitri in, letting the woman peek on the porch of the house.
"What did Mother mean?" muttered Fitri while staring at the piece of paper given by Bu Hajjah in the form of Hendri's current address.
"Mas," call Andini.
"Hm." Without opening his mouth, his eyes were tightly closed, not wanting to open them and face a reality that was so toying with his destiny.
He should have enjoyed his newlywed days with Fitri, not Andini.
"It's been almost an hour here, but you haven't said a word let alone greeted me, asked me what I'm comfortable with or just had a stale chat with me. I'm bored, Mom." Andini looked disappointed, staring at the face of Hendri who continued to lie on the mattress without moving.
Hendri slowly opened his eyes, then stood up and said, "It's late in the afternoon, I'll take a shower. You can wind outside if you're bored." And he passed to the bathroom without heeding the lethargic face of Andini who asked to be noticed by him.
Suddenly the sound of knocking on the door managed to disperse the daydream of Andini.
"Mas Hen, are you inside?"
Andini furrowed her brows. "That voice ...?"
He glanced at the bathroom door for a moment, then confidently stepped out to open the door because he knew very well who was coming to see you.
