Please, Love Me

Please, Love Me
Malicious

"What did you bring me here for, Mom? You want me to jump from a height and die? So that you and Mama Andini can live quietly, peacefully, as a couple who love each other, so?" On the roof of the hotel building, Fitri continued to look at Hendri inexhaustibly, the man could always renege on his promise.

"What do you really think of me as, Mom? Your toy? Or the cheap woman you despise in your heart?" he continued in the ensuing Hendri who had not budged from his place since.

Seeing Hendri still kept silent even after he uttered a few sentences, Fitri finally laughed, a laugh that contained a bit of bitterness.

"It turns out I was too stupid. Stupid to trust a jerk like you." His gaze was straight ahead, staring at the towering building in the middle of the city.

Hendri was silent.

"You don't want to explain anything at all, Mom?" He tried to ask again, still hoping that the man would apologize and explain what had happened, or at least correct the misunderstanding between them.

However, that hope was dashed when the man beside him continued to sink into his own mind, not even a single word intended to answer all the sentences spoken from Fitri.

Fitri also nodded in understanding, from that silence, he had understood, there is a mistake that may be very difficult to explain.

"Alright, I've understood the meaning of your silence. Just continue, I won't bother you anymore." Fitri turned around, better to go than to be there, but only to be regarded as a wind then, invisible in his eyes.

"What you heard from Andini, it's true." Suddenly Hendri made a sound, making Fitri stop his steps and turn to look at the man.

Hendri turned his body to look at Fitri who is now waiting for an explanation from him.

"We were married, right when you disappeared when our marriage was about to begin" he continued. Fitri's eyes narrowed, plus a thin breeze that hit his body, further adding to the gripping atmosphere in the depths of the hearts of the two men.

"So you married Mbak Andini just because you wanted to replace me? Because you want to cover up the feeling of being embarrassed in front of the invited guests, right?" tanya Fitri guessed.

However, Hendri was silent again. Fitri stepped closer to him with an indecipherable smile.

"Take my breath, Mas. What I said was right? You and Ms. Andini just had a fake wedding, right? You're not really married, are you?" Fitri smiled, there was a glimmer of hope that came back to greet him.

"Jawab me, Mas," urged Fitri while holding tightly Hendri's hand. It could be felt by the man that Fitri's tiny hands trembled slightly though with a smile on her face. It can be interpreted that the woman is actually also afraid that her expectations are not in accordance with reality.

Make Hendri's tongue increasingly confused to talk.

"I'm sorry, Fitri," he said in a bowed shame. Shame that he made such a fatal mistake.

The smile that had been broken, now back in the bud, the look on Fitri's face turned unpleasant. The grip that had been tight, began to loosen.

"I'm sorry for that again."

Fitri shook his head weakly. "I don't want to hear you apologize, Mom. What I want you to tell me is the truth, tell me is it true that you've officially married Ms Andini, or are you just pretending?" Fitri's voice tone began to rise.

"Andini .. she is pregnant," said Hendri suddenly.

Fitri's eyebrows frowned. "Pregnant? What do you mean, Mas? Where is pregnant?"

"My son," he answered while trying to be able to look at Fitri although not strong to face the look of his face that must be very disappointed.

"Your son? You mean, Miss Andini is pregnant with your child?" reload Fitri ensure.

"Sorry." That was all Hendri could say, he himself did not know what kind of sentence to apologize and explain it to Fitri. His mind is too messed up for that.

Fitri swallowed his saliva which tasted so bitter and difficult to get into the esophagus, he retreated a few steps from Hendri. He wanted to ask everyone, how can he face that reality with a feeling of calm? It's hard, it's very, very difficult.

The view was blurry, the footrest felt empty, even the tears did not dare to show themselves, why did his life have to go this way? And also, why did Hendri, the man he trusted the most today, maliciously destroy all hope that had been arranged beautifully? Wh why? What wrong and sin did he commit until fate played tricks on him?
