CHAPTRE 37

The bodyguards who saw Ariel's presence felt frightened, then they turned around, but the road to the west seemed Safy standing while holding both daggers. From inside the car, Jacob saw what was going on. He gave orders to his bodyguards to protect him with a promise, that he would give ten times the initial salary. That way, the six guards split up the tasks, three westwards and the remaining three eastwards. Firearms along with military knives were carried as weapons, as they smoothed out ties and suits, the six men advanced along quickly.

Their professional abilities made the strategy for this battle safer, some of them hiding behind trees while one advanced while zig zagging. Safy held tightly to his two daggers, then he also charged forward. The two slashed at each other using sharp weapons, the blade and dagger clashed violently. Causing sparks from the friction of the sharp iron blades, and quickly, the guard picked up the second blade at his waist.

Safy also resisted the second attack using a dagger in his left hand, so that sparks came out from the friction of the two. The battle was fierce, they attacked each other and then defended. But two people hiding behind a tree appeared, they aimed a firearm and shot. Seeing the assault heading towards him, Safy immediately jumped up then spun around. The bullet glided rapidly almost to his hair and waist, after it had passed him Safy moved down and turned vertically, kicking the ankle of the bodyguard in front of him to make it fall. Quickly, the dagger in his left hand was thrown towards the shooter. The speed of the dagger grew faster because it was affected by the wind, then within 0.8 seconds one bodyguard behind the tree instantly fell. The dagger on his right hand was thrown, but unfortunately the bodyguard was hiding behind the tree so that the dagger was only stuck into the tree trunk.

Not stopping there, Safy grabbed the hands of the guards who had fallen below. He immediately stretched it out then his two legs were crossed between the necks, with the full force of the technique locking firmly. Resistance was done, but his hand was locked by Safy on the elbow. As a result of this deadly lockdown, their breathing slowly came to a halt.

Then, a bodyguard hiding behind a tree appeared, pointing a firearm right at Safy's head.

"Dor!"

The hot lead came out from the end of the gun, so Safy let go of both of the bodyguards' hands. Then he also let go of both his legs, after which he dodged. Does not stop there, hot lead is fired again.

Quickly, Safy pushed hard on the bodyguard who was still weak due to his stopped breathing. The thrust of his foot was so strong that the bodyguard bounced forward, and a shot hit his head and instantly killed him. Now two guards are dead.

Seeing his dead partner, the bodyguard frantically replaced his empty gun magazine with a new one. In a state of panic, he fired brutally. Shot after shot without pause is done quickly. In this situation, Safy was ready to defend. He prepared both his daggers and...

"Slash! Slash!"

Every bullet heading towards him was meticulously repelled using both of his daggers. Twelve sparks emanated from the bullet that split into two.  Since all the shots were repelled, the bodyguard immediately changed his gun magazine again. Then he shot out in panic, but it was all in vain. Safy had managed to fend off all of them without any difficulty, then with a slow step, Safy approached his enemy.

The panic weighed heavily on the body of the bodyguard, but he continued to fire non-stop. Safy was calmly able to deal with it, continuously fending off the attacks while advancing. Now the bodyguards realized that there was no chance for victory because their gap in ability was too great. He lowered his weapon and raised both his hands in fear.

"Dash!"

Safy carried out the final attack that left the bodyguard instantly dead. "As a tribute to you for giving up, I will give you a painless death."

All the enemies before Safy had been eliminated. Elsewhere, Ariel had also managed to overcome the three bodyguards she was facing. While in the car, Jacob sees desperately that his six bodyguards have been defeated in the deadly fight. Now, he was alone in the car, but a crazy thought popped into his mind. Seeing Seraphina still unconscious, he took a gun from the bag of one of his bodyguards and pointed it at Seraphina's head.

However, before he could pull the trigger, the stars pushed him out of the car. The car's door is damaged by the magic of the stars, and Jacob is rolled down the road. His gun fell not far from where he had toppled, and with his malicious intentions, Jacob kept trying to grab it. Once he got it, he once again pointed the gun at Seraphina.

But Safy kicked him so hard that he fell to the side of the road. Safy approached the gun not far from the car, and with all his might, it was smashed to pieces using a dagger. The ammunition inside the magazine was completely destroyed, some even erupted as a result of friction between the dagger blade and the bullet metal. There, Jacob managed to get up, he still did not give up. Now a handgun was in his hand, and Safy's eyes were on him. This time, he took out three poisonous needles, then threw them.

The first needle hit his right arm, making the muscles in his hand numb. The second needle struck his right leg, rendering him paralyzed. And the last needle was not thrown, Safy felt Jacob was no longer able to attack.

On the other hand, Ariel tries to help Seraphina from the influence of the drug. He used his fire magic to remove the anesthetic content inside his nerves, then used recovery magic. Before long Seraphina woke up, the stars gathered around her.

"Where am I now?" seraphina asked with a confused face.

"Now you're in the car with me. There's nothing you need to worry about" Ariel said as she hugged him.

In the middle of their meeting, it looks from the east Aldi car speeding, then stopped behind Jacob's car. Worryingly, Aldi immediately checked Seraphina's condition, and upon learning she was doing well he hugged her.

"I'm sorry I've made you go through something terrible like this, but I'm relieved you're not hurt that much" Aldi said in a statement.

There Aldi still hugged Seraphina, he felt very guilty because of his negligence as a manager. Ariel stayed with them, while secretly giving healing magic.
