The journey from Jakarta started when we arrived at Soekarno Hatta Airport at 3 am. We pack all items that are brought to be put in the baggage of the aircraft. This trip is different from the usual trip. This time we set out not to travel with large suitcases and beautiful clothes, but carrying a large carier bag and wearing roomy clothes. This time, we did not have a small amount. At least 28 people took part in the trip this time.

This time it was a trip to a location in eastern Indonesia there to carry out our annual expedition as part of the nature lovers organization on campus.

For most of us, it was a worthwhile trip. How not, this opportunity will lead us to set foot in one of the provinces of eastern Indonesia.Even for some people this is their first experience on a plane. The majority of them are Jabodetabek people who study at our campus. Well our goal this time is the wilderness in North Halmahera. But before entering the forest we have to arrive first in Ternate. This morning's flight will take us there.

For me, this was my first experience. Not the first time I got on a plane, but the first time I've traveled the farthest in a lifetime and this time to the east of Indonesia. Although not to a vacation place but will enter the forest, but still for me this will be an extraordinary experience.

At 5:00 the plane we were on took off. Some friends began to tell eyes, some closed their ears for fear of mixed noise from the plane that took off. This flight will take approximately 5 hours and this will be my longest flight so far. We will transit about 20 minutes at Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar airport and then proceed to Sultan Babulloh Ternate airport.

I slept during the trip, because it was so sleepy. Before leaving for the airport, many of us did not have time to sleep because they had to prepare items that must be taken, and then in the early hours of the morning had left for the airport. Arriving in Makassar I woke up, it turned out that the plane had stopped and some passengers were down then there were those who went up to leave for Ternate. I think both of those people are coming with us here too.

In my mind the people who were going to pick us up were tall-looking, black-skinned and eastern curly hair like I used to see on TV. But those who came were different people. The real father here sir? ask one of my friends to the father who was driving the car we were riding in. Oh, I'm really sundanese, but I've lived here for a long time. I work here, so my family also brought me here, replied the father. How long has he been living here? I chimed in on the answer. Almost 7 years, because the first time my placement directly here. Ohh we simultaneously responded.

Not the same here in Java? another friend asked.Ngga so much different anyway because here is also byak his Javanese because this area is the location of migration first, replied the father again. The most distinguishing thing is only our speech he added. Indeed, from earlier the father spoke with an eastern accent.

Along the way we heard typical eastern songs playing. In the car we were riding in. I don't understand the meaning, but I love their songs. The fast rhythm makes the song as if it is a happy song but it could be the lyrics of people are heartbroken.

There are not so many vehicles on this road, so there is no traffic jam as I usually see in Jakarta and Bogor. The school children sitting on the angkot, hanging around jokingly in the angkot made the scene we saw slightly different from the big city city.
