Road to the hall (2)

Snack and drinking water are complete in the car. At least it can expel drowsiness and nausea want to vomit when later suddenly this car drove like doormat again. Some cars carrying goods began to pass on the road, passing by the cars we ride. They're friendly. The drivers waved to each other when they passed each other, whether they knew each other or not but for me it was a difficult thing to see if it was in Jakarta.

The sea across began to look, the sunlight began to rise and make the beach water look shiny. What a beautiful view that morning. Our journey to the hall is still a long way away. It is likely that we will arrive when it is noon, after dzuhur maybe so said Mr. Rolan. Several times the car we were riding stopped to just stretch the muscles of the drivers or to buy snacks in the small stalls we passed. Several times the warung guards will ask "from Java? to us when we stopped by his stall. They identified white people from Java. Indeed along the way only black people with curly hair we encountered.

The more daylight the sun was getting hotter and the roads we passed became dry and dusty. The car glass that was open was forced to close to avoid dust that entered the nose. Understandably, most of the roads we traveled were not paved. It is flat and good, just not entirely paved so that if it is noon the road will be dusty and dry. "Sir, is it still a long time? ask the driver who brought the car we were driving. Pretty good, just sleep if you are bored replied the driver. Actually I'm not bored, just feel really long gan nyampe-nyampe? Even though we had been through that road before when we went to the resort but still it felt far and long.

As if we knew we were getting bored, the driver tuned in the car. Fortunately, at least a little can drive away the drowsiness and boredom of humans in the car. When it has begun to enter urban areas that are a little more urban than before, began to appear the signal on our phones. Because since from the resort there is no signal that can be captured by the provider on our mobile phone. There is a signal, Ical hastily called his girlfriend in Jakarta via the videocall feature on Whatsapp. After a few weeks of hard work, maybe he already misses his girlfriend very much. "Yee the bucino base, in unison we all yelled at Ical but as if it didn't matter she was cool chattering with her boyfriend on the phone. Sometimes we catch their conversations.

It's getting closer, soon we'll be there, the driver told us. Ah, thank goodness, since then it feels like our bodies have been very sore sitting in the car. My ass until I'm numb, sit a long time joked Aldi when I know soon arrive. The cars that carry us still go hand in hand, when viewed front and back will be more like a group of candidates who are campaigning or a group of besan who leave for celebration. Crowded and neat.

We passed a beach. There are many stalls selling fish and other food lined up there. The beach looks clean, there is no garbage scattered everywhere and the beach water still looks blue. It's good when you're swimming at the beach during the day, exclaimed Dea. Wantsome? we can stop by for a while, the driver instead offers to stop at the beach. No sir, joking I will just miss the other one, said Dea.Maybe he did not expect the driver will offer it.

Actually I don't want to go anywhere. Just want to immediately arrive at the hall in order to stretch the muscles that have been numb because they have been sitting in the car for too long. At least when we get to the hall, we can lie down to straighten the body. That's all, but it seems the road is still long. Even though the driver had said close, who knows the close distance he meant. Maybe have to pass the hill again like it used to happen in the forest. The close distance they meant to us was very far away.

Here the market is only once a week and until the afternoon, they are also open not early in the morning at least starting at 7 or 8 am. The driver answered our question. Oh, it's worth it, it's still crowded until this afternoon. Suddenly a very familiar and pleasant smell perched on our noses as it passed by the fruit seller. Yes the smell of durian.Who does not like the fruit that one. As if knowing what we were thinking, the driver pulled over his car and invited us to buy the durian. Wow, that's very kind of driver I thought.

Actually we have been left behind from the group, but let it be near as well. Besides, it's a pity that good food is missed. We got out of the car and approached the durian merchant. The mother peddled her merchandise smoothly using the eastern dialect of the timuran. The driver ordered for us and the merchant's mother chose durian fruit which she thought was okay and then opened it.

I am so lucky to have enjoyed this fruit in this place, I thought. It's been a long time since I last ate durian. It turns out not only me, all my friends one car was very fond of fleshy fruit legit. We ate up to 5 durians. When we were about to pay, suddenly the driver took the money out of his wallet and paid for everything we ate. Quite expensive too, even though we have planned a joint venture. All right, let's just say the sustenance of sholeh's son, hehe.

Soon we got back in the car and the car drove in the crowd of the market. Looks like the other group has arrived at the hall, no more cars that were in line with us. We'll probably be the last ones to get to the hall. But it's okay, thank you, the good driver, for treating us today.
