Sasti walked towards the resort where the alumni event took place. His footsteps headed towards the beach, seemed to dangle along the beach sand. Sasti waiting for sunset or arguably sunset. A golden yellow color that radiates from the stunning scenery. Sasti was amazed at the beauty that was displayed in front of him.
Sasti waited for the second when the time would change into a beautiful night. As a child, he had camped in one of his family's villas. Where looks flickering lights from across the sea. At that time there was an urban area across there.
"You here?" the baritone's voice came to disperse his daydream.
"Adul?" Sasti was shocked to see the figure of the man he knew.
"Yes, why?" The man smiled a little.
"Surprised, why are you here? you have a meeting from the office."
"This is my office, I've worked here for almost eight years" explained Adul
"What department are you in? what scholar was it?" asked Sasti with enthusiasm.
"I don't go to college." replied Adule staring at the waves that were shrinking.
"Oh, sorry." Sasti felt bad about the question.
"It's okay, I'm used to being asked like that. I don't want to go to college, I still get a job."
"Hmmm..mumbersome!" Sasti nudged the spoiled shoulder of the man beside her.
Sasti and Adul sat down to enjoy the cooler beach air. The sun has completed its task, day as if into the belly of night.
God created the Heaven and the Earth and God created the Dark and the Light, after which God separated the Dark and the Light where the light was good & God created the Heaven and the Earth with the Dark and the Light .Everything that God created is good, nothing is bad, and man should be thankful for life. And God loves all His Creation.
Sasti and Adul stood up leaving the beach area. Azan began to reverberate, marking the time of Maghrib prayer.
"You want to pray?" ask Adul.
"That's it."
"There is a small mushola. It was not built long ago. He said it was dedicated to his late wife who died while pregnant." Adul told the newspaper.
"Has her husband not remarried?" ask Sasti.
"His husband married his late wife's cousin. He said the system went down to bed. I don't understand either."
"is this man the son of the owner of this resort?" ask Sasti.
"You're a keboan as well." jelak Adul.
"I'm just listening to Adul. If I told you to take responsibility." Sasti Kikil.
"So you want to go to the mosque or go back to the room?"
"To mushola only. I am afraid to pray alone. If I used to pray with Laras. Now Laras is back with her husband."
"Yes, she's back with her husband." Adul's voice sounded soft.
"Don't tell me you still like the same Baras. Dul, I suggest finding a single woman who can accept you for who you are. I've heard stories about you and Laras. About your friendship since childhood. But trust me, you'll get more than Baras." Adul turned towards Sasti.
"Eitsss, that's definitely not me. You're good, Dul. But sorry you're not my type." Sasti immediately clarified that Adul did not misunderstand.
Adul smiled for a moment "Relax Sasti, you need not be afraid. You're not my type either, because I see you're not as graceful as Laras." Adul walked away from the dumbstruck Sasti.
"Songong is also Adul. Uh, but I wonder what position he's in here, huh? The manager? regular staff? or maybe an OB. Did he say no college." Inner Sasti.
"Surely!" a woman as soon as she walked up to Sasti.
"Yes," replied Sasti half-lazy.
"Where have you been? we're cariin daritadi. Let's get together the BBQ show started at six o'clock" pull the woman.
"Jam six earlier? you guys don't pray!"
Lady friend Sasti chuckles little "Hey, prayers can be later. It could be tomorrow. God knows if people need entertainment right now."
Sasti glared at getting the words of his friend. That's how they underestimate prayer time.
"Hey, Tasya! now you can say that. We don't know when we'll breathe. When did God say Kun fayakun for our time. And that's when you'll regret it."
"Udah, Sasti you're a lot of bacots! yuk ah, I'll hunt you tonight." Tasya pulled Sasti along to the event site.
The BBQ event was very lively. Almost all bring their wives, husbands and children, boyfriends and girlfriends. While Sasti is just like a sheep seeing their affection. Sasti chose to leave the show. He's bored, it feels like he wants to go back to the room. But unfortunately he was lazy everywhere.
"Cok you're not coming?" Andra appeared near Sasti.
"It's okay, Ndra. I want to take a breath of the beach. You're even here, your wife will see. You said your wife was jealous."
"Or because your boyfriend didn't come or you belom have a partner" Andra said whispering in Sasti's ear.
"I have it? yes, he is busy. It says again on the way here."
"Yaudah, I'll wait until your girlfriend gets there."
"Well? mending you take care of your wife. I don't want to get hit."
"Why? how you're afraid." Andra laughs.
"Who is afraid? well that's it!" Sasti yelled pulling a man who was walking towards him.
Adul was walking around the resort. Not just for a walk. He's checking security around the resort. Because it is his duty as a security guard there.
His work was a little interrupted when Sasti suddenly came pulling him. Which made him surprised Sasti proclaimed there was a special relationship between them. He was not that girl's partner.
"But, I ...."
"Darling, why are you sweating. Here I wipe your face." Sasti took the tissue from his pants pocket.
"Sas, I'm not...."
"Yes, I know you're not a romantic guy. But to me what you're doing proves your love for me." Sasti stroked Adul's hair making the man cold sweat.
"Sorry, we have to talk!" Adul pulled Sasti roughly.
"Awww! Adul's sick! you are very rude to women!"
"What did you mean! why use me as my partner."
"Dul, help me. They kept making fun of me for not bringing a partner. I don't want to be the subject of their scorn." beg Sasti.
"Don't be with me! don't dream you can get my heart!"
"Baggot right you, Dul. Who are you? the king! read you Dul! the way you talk like other women is not level in your eyes. You are still working with people. What for Laras? until the apocalypse, Laras won't look at you!" Sasti left Adul alone.
