Chapter 106: Ending Tonight

Leaving her two children with Valen, this could have been dangerous. But for Manda, in Valen's eyes there's still kindness. It's just that he needs time to realize himself. Right now, Manda was more curious as to what Rein wanted to tell her. He pulled Rein into the room.

"Rein, tell me now, what do you want to say to Mommy on the phone, son?"

Rein took his laptop, and then he got into bed, got into the blanket to focus on explaining to his mother. Manda went up and sat down next to her son, she noticed that her son was pressing a button on the square screen.

Manda hugged Rein, she was so excited.

Rafa is breaking up, he is shocked to see the footage being replayed by Rein. He sat in the middle of his wife and son.

"It's like in the hours before we met Valen. But where did this woman go?" muttered Rafa touching his chin.

"Daddy, Rein thinks maybe Aunt Valen is meeting someone" Rein said.

"But, when I brought her here, she looked in pain after I touched her arm. Could he have run away after being whipped by his father?"

Rein and Rafa were silent to hear it. The word whip was quite painful for Valen especially if it was from his father who was set in the Mafia. There could be marks left on Valen's body.

"If your thoughts make sense, but what Rein says is true. Now this has to be made clear!" said Rafa got up and then contacted Daren to quickly trace the CCTV that leads to Valen's destination where. Daren at the company understands his work. He relied on his skills to search.

"Alright, we wait for an answer from Daren. Now we're-"

PRANGGG!!!

The three were aghast after hearing the commotion from outside.

"Kids?"

Rafa and Manda got out of bed, both running to see what had happened. Not to miss the genius boy Rein also ran after his parents. Apparently Mr. Raka scolded Valen without pause alias continuously pressing him. The wrath of Mr. Raka shook the entire house, until two other children stood behind Mrs Mira. Manda rushed down the stairs before the violence.

Valen who was sitting on the floor due to Lord Raka's push just now made it look really sad. She glanced at Manda, she gritted her jaws feeling Manda was indeed trying to embarrass herself. But the negative thought was gone after Manda stood before him with her arms stretched out.

"Enough! Don't blame him again, Pi!" manda ngos-ngosan said.

"Shey? You're still defending him after he committed a crime against your father-in-law's family? She shouldn't have come here, this shameless woman you should have taken back to prison. But apparently you are friends!" reply Mr. Raka snapped at his daughter-in-law.

"Damn it, I got angry too!" manda's mind is upset.

"What have you grumbled in your heart?" said Mr. Raka seemed not to know what was being harassed by Manda.

"But Valen came here just to apologize. There's no harm in him asking for forgiveness for what he did?"

"He's been mean, there's no sorry for him!" protest Mr. Raka felt humiliated for six years by Valen.

But apparently, Madame Mira came forward in front of Manda and Valen. He was reminiscing about his past after Manda said so. Rafa and Triple R are worried that Madame Mira will slap Manda. But it turns out that even being hugged by him makes Mr. Raka stunned.

"True, what you said is true. We shouldn't have to be selfish like this, he's a necessity but at least he's learned from prison" said Mrs Mira to release Manda and approach Valen.

"Sheila was right, you have come here with only one good intention. We should have welcomed you well, but you were humiliated like this. I'm relieved you're aware too, I've forgiven you," added Madam Mira hugging the trembling woman.

After Valen's tears broke, he who used to be always given a diatribe for his mistake can now be apologized. It's good for his future not to be haunted by that guilt. He complied and apologized continuously until he forgot the pain of the whip all over his body. Manda smiled, so happy to see him.

"Darling you've forgiven her, right?"

Valen calms down, thanking Manda and Rafa. Rafa just smiled wryly, he was not sure Valen was good or not. Madame Mira before saying goodbye, she told Valen to come to Noah's wedding. He hoped that Valen would be known back to the people of the city as another person who had changed. Madam Mira also climbed the stairs to calm her husband who must be babbling alone in the room.

Now the Rafa and Valen families live in the living room.

Valen stood up, smiling and turning to leave before being whipped again by his father when he came home late. But Manda held him back.

"Valen, be honest.. Do you still have a grudge against me?"

Valen flinched, he stared immediately at Manda.

"Ah, it seems not anymore. Where I may turn to attack you, you have helped me, I should not be vengeful."

Manda breathed a sigh of relief hearing that. He also said.

"Then can you be honest who you met this afternoon?"

Valen was silent, he was surprised that Manda knew that. Rafa and Rein come face to face, both convinced Valen is meeting someone. One second until a few seconds passed Valen was still silent. Suddenly he fell to his knees.

"Sheila, I swear I won't disturb your lives, I'll tell you where Delsi's hiding."

Rafa stands up as his phone is contacted by Daren and Daren says it's the same as Valen. He knew Delsi showed himself in a cafe that Valen attended as well. It is now clear that Valen was released by Delsi.

"Valen," said Manda, pulling Valen to his feet.

"Then let's work together."

"All right, Shei."

Manda smiled grinningly, she seemed impatient to face Delsi, a real enemy to her in this world. He manages to ensnare Valen into his plans for revenge. "You're gonna end up in my hands tonight, too, Delsi!" Manda bluffs in heart.
