03. Eryn's Grief

When the morning came back, Eryn opened his eyes again. He remembers Eric coming last night and comforting him. Eric asked her not to listen to what the people out there were saying.

Eryn came out of his room and headed for the kitchen. He met Matilda, Eryn's nanny as a child and Albana's household assistant.

"Aunt Matilda," call Eryn.

"Eh? Miss is up? Let's have breakfast, miss. Auntie's cooking for Miss."

"Where's my dad?" asked Eryn who didn't see his father.

Matilda was confused as to what to answer.

"Auntie, where's my dad?" Eryn urged Matilda.

"Mr Edward didn't come home last night, miss."

Eryn. "So, you're still in the office?"

Eryn felt guilty for Edward. He went into the kitchen and cooked Edward's favorite meal.

After finishing cooking, Eryn returned to the room and cleaned up. Then he left the room and met with Matilda again.

"Where is she going?" ask Matilda.

"I'm bored at home. I want to go to college, Auntie," replied Eryn.

Matilda sighed. "Miss, you better stay inside. Miss knows not if rumors about Miss..."

Before Matilda finished her sentence, someone had already cut her off.

"I'll drive him!"

Eryn and Matilda immediately turned to the source of the voice. That was Eric. The man approached Eryn and Matilda.

"Auntie don't worry. I'll take care of Eryn" said Eric.

"You don't intend to go to college, do you?" said Eric.

"Yes, I have no intention of going to college. Please take me to my father's office. Since last night I didn't come home. I'm worried about her," replied Eryn with a sad face.

Eric nodded his head then drove his car towards the Albana Group.

"What's he doing here? Does he still dare to set foot here?"

"Then let me wait in my dad's office" Eryn said.

"But, Miss..." Martina does not continue when she sees Eric asking her to let Eryn in. Although only through a gaze, Martina knew if her boss' best friend asked for it.

"Please come in, Miss." Martina invites Eryn to wait in her father's room.

Eric always accompanied Eryn. The man knew that the girl's heart was not okay.

After waiting for 30 minutes, Edward walked into his study and saw Eryn there.

"Dad!" eryn approached Edward.

"Eryn's? You here, son?" Edward was surprised to see Eryn.

"I'm worried about Dad. Here I bring food for Dad. I cooked it myself." Eryn took out the lunchbox he had stored in his bag.

"Eat, Dad!" eryn Pinta.

An hour later, Eryn woke up feeling soreness in the area of his hand that he made as a pillow. He glanced at Edward who was still closed.

"Dad, wakeup! I beg..."

There was the sound of Eryn's stomach asking for untui in the contents. He forgot that he had not eaten anything in the morning. He decided to leave the room and go to the hospital canteen.

"What's this?" ask Eryn.

"Sorry, Miss. We can't be sure yet. We'll take the patient to the check room first."

"Well?!" Eryn was shocked to hear the nurse's answer. Something must have happened to her father.

The nurse pushed her father's gurney out of the room. Eryn looked at his father's gasping breath.

"No! That's impossible!" Bad thoughts began to cloud him.

"Lord, please don't take my father! I don't have anyone else in the world!" inner Eryn with a body that begins to drift.

Lucky someone immediately caught Eryn's weak body.

"Eric?" Eryn muttering.

"You okay?" ask Eric.

Eryn. The crying broke again. Eric immediately carries Eryn's body in his arms. He was so happy to see Eryn's sorrow.
