73. Eryn's Answer

This morning Eryn prepared breakfast for his little family. It had become a habit for him even though he and his father were having a little bit of a fight because of the affairs with the Se-Kang Group. He still did not fully believe everything Hyun Woo said. Hence Eryn wanted to investigate more deeply about Kang Se Hoon and his company.

Noah is ready in his school uniform and sitting at the dinner table.

"Smart kid!" Eryn rubbed Noah's head. The boy was eating his breakfast the next morning.

But until Noah's food is almost toilet, Mr. Kim has not seen out of his room.

"Why hasn't Dad come yet? Did I just take her to her room?" inner Eryn.

"Darling, finish your meal! Mommy wants to see grandpa first."

"Yes, Mommy."

Eryn walked into Mr. Kim's room. It turned out that the middle-aged man opened the door and made Eryn startled.

"Dad?" Eryn rounded his eyes.

"What's up, son?"

"Dad skipped breakfast" said Eryn who felt awkward because of being held by his father.

"Dad didn't miss it. Come on, let's have breakfast together."

Eryn nodded and walked with his father. Arriving at the dinner table, Noah had finished eating and was about to leave for school.

"Mommy, Grandpa! I went to school first!" pamit Noah's.

"Yes, honey. Learn the diligent. And don't be naughty!"

"Ready, Mommy!"

Eryn kissed Noah's cheeks. He sat facing his father at the dinner table. There was still no meaningful conversation between the two of them.

Until finally...

"I'm sorry, Dad," said Eryn.

Mr. Kim smiled. "There's nothing to forgive, son. I'm just worried about you."

"Dad just calm down! I'll take care of myself."

"alright. Do your job as a showmaster and then after that don't be in touch with Kang Se Hoon or his family."

Eryn nodded. For a while he will agree what his father wants until all the evidence he really gets.

Eryn was still in his office and was about to head to the Se-Kang Group building. Saemi, the assistant suddenly came and delivered something encouraging for her.

"What?! Why are you saying it now? When did Rose call?" Eryn who wanted to get angry became a snob.

"About a week ago, Miss. Sorry I forgot, because Miss was also very busy back then."

Eryn reviewed his smile. "Give her my phone number if she calls again."

"Good, Miss."

After Sae Mi passed, Eryn immediately drove to Se-Kang Group.

Arriving there, Eryn immediately reviewed the location where the annual grand event was held at the company. The Se-Kang Group had a fairly large hall. This one floor is deliberately used for corporate events.

Eryn was watching himself how his team worked. All must be in accordance with the concept desired by the event owner.

Without Eryn knowing, a pair of eyes were watching him from a surveillance camera.

"It turns out that it is true what Se Naa said, I will be burned by my own game" he murmured.

I don't know what the mature man felt until he stepped foot to the place where Eryn was.

"His eyes remind me of Sully" he murmured again. Who else if not Kang Se Hoon.

Eryn who was busy preparing the decorations was startled by Se Hoon's arrival in that hall.

"Leader Kang?" shocked Eryn.

"Hmm, the concept you created is pretty decent too." Se Hoon looked around the hall.

"thank you. This is the concept given by Miss Se Naa." Eryn lowered his face.

"alright. Continue yourjob. Excuse me first."

"Please, Chairman Kang." Eryn bowed his body as Se Hoon started to step away.

Eryn looked at Se Hoon's back which was moving away. He put his shoulders and then went back to work.

At eight o'clock in the evening, Eryn had just finished his job. He's out of the hall. He stretched his muscles that felt stiff.

"You're pushing yourself too hard, Miss Kim."

"Well?!" A familiar voice again filled Eryn's sense of hearing.

"Leader Kang?" Eryn greeted with a bow.

"Yes. Then excuse me!" Eryn said goodbye because he did not want to be with the man for too long.

Eryn headed to his car and immediately gas-turfed leaving the Se-Kang Group building. Today he has an appointment with Joon to have dinner together.

Unbeknownst to Eryn, a car is following him. The man in the car crossed his arms and guessed where Eryn was going.

Arriving at a park that has certainly been prepared by Joon, Eryn was astonished at how beautiful the park was.

"Joon's? You prepared all this?" asked Eryn who saw many lights twinkling in the garden.

"You think you're the only one who can design an event? I can do it too." Joon has been proud of his hard work all day.

"You prepared this yourself?" Eryn gawking in disbelief.

"Let's sit down first. You must be hungry, right?"

Joon pulls up the chair and lets Eryn sit down.

"Thank you" said Eryn.

Eryn is enjoying the atmosphere tonight. Joon was so sweet tonight.

There was music that began to flow. Joon walks up to Eryn and asks her to dance.

Eryn twisted his body following the echoing music. And when the music stops, Joon kneels down and pulls out a box in front of Eryn.

"Eryana Kim, will you marry me?"

"Joona..."

"Please answer, Eryn. I promise to make you and Noah happy."

Eryn's worried. Yesterday he was convinced by Joon. But tonight, there was a doubt that suddenly appeared. Again Noah's shadow appeared in his mind. Noah's happiness is all that matters. That's how Eryn thought.

"Yes, I want to marry you."

Instantly Joon stood up and hugged Eryn. Tonight was a happy night for him.

"Thank you, Eryn. Thank you." Thank you."

While outside the park, a girl growled annoyed at the sight of the two people who were mixing love.

"Damn! Why did Oppa have to propose to the widow so soon?" the girl who is none other than Ga Eun.

"Ehem!" A voice made Ga Eun surprised.

"You? What are you doing here?" asked Ga Eun lazily.

"Don't be angry, Miss. I know you're heartbroken by their togetherness."

"What do you mean?"

"What if we work together?" haggle that guy.

"Kang Se Hoon! I know who you are. You're a sly man who doesn't know himself. Why am I working with you?" ketus Ga Eun's.

Se Hoon laughed. "You know not if I can always get what I want. So, you can trust me. You want that guy, and I want Eryn."

Ga Eun smiled mockingly. "Since when have you been close to the Kim family? Aren't your families hostile to each other?"

"Don't say much, Miss. Do you accept this offer or not? I'm sure you don't want your father's scandal out in the public, do you? I could've spread it to the press because I was the only one holding your father's Aces" Se Hoon threatened.

Ga Eun is hugging. "You? Whatdoyouwant?" He clenched his hand.

"That's easy. You get what you want, and I get what I want. How's it?"

"So, are you gonna help me get Joon Oppa?"

Se Hoon smiled a smirk. "Yes, of course."

Ga Eun looked back at the happy couple. They seem to be leaving the park.

"alright. I accept your offer!" reply Ga Eun by extending her hand.

Se Hoon returned Ga Eun's hand.

"All you have to do is believe in all the plans I've made. Do you understand, Miss?"

Ga Eun nodded. "alright. I believe in you, Kang Se Hoon. You've always had some cunning ways of achieving your goals" circus Ga Eun.

Eryn was still awake in his room. He thought about his decision to accept Joon as a father, Noah continued.

Eryn closed his eyes. Eldric's shadow is back.

"I'm sorry, El... I can't be selfish just thinking about myself. Our son needs a father figure. And Joon is the right man to be Noah's father."
