One Month Later
The road to the village was still the same as it used to be, surging and filled with sharp pebbles. From year to year residents rely only on volunteers among them, to cover the holes that exist due to puddles of rain.
Sometimes some give pebbles, leftover rocks build houses and some bad land. They use it to pave the way. Proposal after proposal they often submit but never get an answer from the local government.
Hanna looked around who still looked green towards her hometown. The distance from the big highway to his house is quite far, passing through several villages and pesawahan. And if you keep going inside there are still many more villages there.
The village is located in the middle and one of the most crowded among others. There is still a lot of empty land there. There is already a large mosque, a place of Friday prayers of residents from the next village to other religious events. Minimarket belongs to one of the residents and also a mini pom. As well as salafi ponpes and pencak silat padepokan.
A few minutes later the car was parked on the side of the road. Agra who was in charge of delivering Hanna was stunned to see a building that did not match the design that her Master had given her.
"Is this Miss Hanna's house?" ask her with round eyes.
"Really, why?" The woman had expected the reaction of her husband's confidant.
"Why has the design changed?"
"Sir Agra, you think I'm stupid. This land belongs to my parents, no one has the right to seize it and change the building as he sees fit."
"What ... Mr Michael knows?" tanyanya doubt.
"Yet. Please if you want to give it. But, if you still have a little conscience leave it like this. I'll keep helping the company downstairs. There it is already prepared for the branch office that takes care of some documents. And upstairs for my family's place to stay" she explained.
"And the plan, on the vacant land there will be built the next branch factory for the new model will enter in Gemilang" he continued pointing to the vacant land not far from his home.
The young man was speechless observing the two-story house which was dominated by the gray white color. Although not yet fully completed but it can be clearly seen the shape. On the lower floor there is so much glass while on the top there are only two windows and one door to the balcony.
"But it won't be easy, ma'am. Building a factory will require a very large capital," Agra said looking at the vacant land on the corner of the road.
"You don't have to worry about the cost, just shut up is enough to help. I will take care of everything myself" he said later.
"So, can you betray your master for the sake of your conscience?" tanyanya.
Again the young man was silent. Thought worried. His relationship with Michael's family was not as simple as he thought. It is very unlikely that he betrayed the family who helped his family a lot. Moreover, the father will not agree.
However, if he opens his mouth and reports on his wife's plan, it is certain that the relationship will end and he will again seek prey to satisfy the Master's desires. He will also bother to clean up his employer's dirty behavior.
While inside the house by the window, Adri was observing a car that stopped long enough in front of his house. Both her eyebrows are furrowed.
"Why Sir?" Ratna approached her husband.
"Whose car is it? From there on?" tanyanya.
"It looks like it belongs to Michael Pak, are they observing the house and reporting it?" The look of a panicked face was clearly drawn there.
"Let's go, let's ask Hanna" she said, heading upstairs to pick up her phone.
"What's planned, Miss Hanna?" ask Agra later.
"The company will build a new building on the next land, I will use this budget to move the construction of the building here. Besides being able to open up jobs for residents around here, it can also reduce company costs related to smaller wages than in the city" he explained.
"How do you manage that budget? I think it will add a lot of cost. If there will likely only use employees in the old building. Not even later will make the cost more swollen?"
Agra who at least understands about the company is open voice.
"You don't need to know how, I have an ace that Michael won't be able to turn down."
"Then, how do you talk to Mr. Martin?"
"I think after his son agrees, his father won't be able to do much."
"This woman is quite clever and cunning. It looks like he wants his position to be stronger in the company and the Delopez family. I can't just ignore it. Moreover, the card he had had had no idea what I should know." - the young man's inner.
"Is this reason enough to make you betray your master?"
"Look Hanna, my relationship with the Delopez family is not as easy as you think. Not just between superiors and subordinates. My father used to be a driver for Mr. Martin, too" he explained.
"Ooohh so Pak Riyanto is your father?"
"of course! He used to take me to meetings a few times" he said.
"How are you doing now?"
"Alhamdulillah, the better ma'am. Since the accident two years ago you stopped working and told me to take his place."
"Your mother? I hear he's sick?"
"Mother is dead, that's where our relationship became tied to the Delopez family."
"So, you owe Mr Martin a favor?"
Agra did not answer him he just nodded and bowed.
Before long, Hanna's phone rang. He deliberately did not answer his focus was still on the young man sitting behind the wheel. He did not think he was the son of a driver who used to be so good to him.
"It's up to you now, if you can help me. I'll make sure I don't involve you. Just shut up and pretend you don't know about all this."
"Okay, think carefully" he ended the afternoon conversation.
Agra was still speechless thinking about the words of his new master.
Hanna opened her car door and walked towards the yard. His smile expanded with satisfaction at the results of the building in front of him.
"It's perfect soon," he murmured.
In the distance Agra got out of his car he had decided what to do.
While Ratna's face sparkled happily when she saw her son coming, she who was inside the house immediately came out to welcome Hanna.
"Yes Allaaahh Son, you're coming!" he hugged his son.
"Yes Ma, this is Hanna. How's Mama doing?" The child welcomed a warm embrace from his mother.
"Dear, why didn't you tell me to come?"
"Paaq .. My father! It's Hanna coming!" she called for the husband.
With the middle-aged man pulled out of the house and smiled happily at the child. He still holds his phone and keeps calling Hanna.
"So that was your car? Father the phone wasn't picked up?" tanyanya glanced at the car on the side of the road.
"Yes sir, there are some things Hanna talked about with Agra regarding this house. He was surprised to see the design change," he explained seeing the young man who was already behind Hanna.
"Let's go in. Don't talk outside," Ratna asked.
Hanna swept her gaze in all directions. The progress is quite good just finishing it. The craftsmen were still focused on working only occasionally turning their heads towards the woman.
Agra is seen approaching a handyman and talking to him.
"How are you doing, son?" ask Ratna.
"I'm good, Ma. I came to tell you" he said slowly. He bit his lower lip and saw a look of anxiety on his face.
"What news?" Adri who can't wait to hear it looks close.
"How about a minute, young man? Is he going to report us to his boss?" ask Ratna to interrupt.
"Of course, it depends on his heart. Hanna explained at length our plan. May he be on our side" he said glancing at Agra.
"Hopefully he is kind" Ratna said later.
"What did you say? You are worried about this," urged Adri still waiting for the child's speech earlier.
"Oh yes, I'm .. pregnant," she said hesitantly looking carefully at her parents.
Seriate...
