Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
● TWELVE : Unpleasant Welcome

Maya continues to be furious, because of Surya's decision that brings Ryanthi back to the magnificent house. He feels he will get a rival, if Ryanthi is there. Maya feels uncomfortable, as she realizes that her position is no stronger than Ryanthi's.

"Why should your father bring the girl home? You saw for yourself how he. Ih, the clothes he was wearing were very ugly. Mama had to wash her face many times, because of the welcoming event earlier," her grunts annoyed.

"Don't be hard, Ma. ananti papa listen," said Vera, placing her index finger on her lips.

Maya slams her body onto the couch. He sat down while crossing his legs in his very haughty style. "You think Mama's happy to see that country cat coming here? Of course not! However, we also cannot act rashly. If you knew we didn't want Ryanthi here, it would be a big deal" Maya said. He kept talking, even though Vera did not respond. The girl was too engrossed with the small mirror she was holding.

Seeing Vera's attitude that ignored her, Maya became even more annoyed. "You heard Mama didn't?" the woman snapped in a voice not too loud.

Knowing Maya is getting angry, Vera immediately keeps the mirror. He sat down while hugging one of the pillows on the bed. "Yes, I heard. Actually, I don't like seeing Ryanthi in this house either. But I don't want to find trouble with him. Mama saw for herself how papa treated her," said Vera lightly.

"Hhhh! Mama's wondering, why didn't she die with her mom?" Maya is really furious. He has transmitted evil and greedy nature to his daughters. All that arrogance and arrogance, he regarded as something that symbolized self-esteem. Maya is the wife of Surya Wijaya, a famous textile entrepreneur.

"For a while, let's look at the situation first. Keep a good eye on the village cat. Once we get the ace, we'll kick him back out on the street." Maya grins evilly. He seemed dissatisfied that Ryanthi and Farida's lives had been in trouble for a dozen years.

"Just keep an eye on him, 'cause I still got another job that's a lot more important. It feels boring if you continue to see the girl's hick appearance. I have to go to the ophthalmologist if that happens, '" Vera refused. He then got up and stuck himself in the mirror. Vera has always admired the beauty and beauty of her body. He was waddling while playing his hair mischievously.

That's Vera's habit. That beautiful girl is always tight. He often wears an open shirt. In fact, Surya had reminded him many times. However, Vera still stubborn.

Meanwhile, Maya often let even indulge excessively, until Vera grows into a girl who always does as she pleases. Whatever he wants, he has to get it.

"Mama wants me to disturb that girl?" ask Vera suddenly. Maya nodded, in response to her daughter's question.

"What's the reward for me?" ask Vera again, sitting next to Maya.

"Drawling? Jesus, Vera! The payoff is that our peace at home will return." Maya is so irritated and doesn't understand her daughter's attitude.

"We?" Vera laughed softly. "Ryanthi just arrived, Ma. I see he also seems quiet and harmless" Vera said indifferently.

"That's because you don't know yet. I'm sure she's not that different from her mother. Farida used to be like that. He looks so calm, but it turns out that the woman dared to challenge your papa. Farida even slapped Mama once. That's a huge insult to Mama" Maya said. He's holding the left cheek.

Maya recalled the time Farida slapped her so hard that her cheeks were hot and red. It happened when Surya first brought him before his wife.

The slap that Farida gave, became something that Maya could not forget. That's why he felt so satisfied, when Surya let Farida go and preferred her. Although until now, Surya still considers himself only as a mistress.

Maya has asked Surya to marry her legally. However, Ryanthi's father was always stalling for time for many reasons. Maya never thought Surya would bring Ryanthi back to the house.

Vera got up from the couch. He stepped near the door. The sudden movement of the girl's body until that time, made Maya instantly awaken from her daydream. "Where are you going?" ask Maya curious.

Vera, who was about to turn the doorknob, turned her head. "I want to say hello to our guests for a moment" he replied. She passes from the room, leaving Maya alone to meet Ryanthi. Upon arrival in front of Ryanthi's room, Vera immediately knocked on the door calmly.

A moment later, Ryanthi appeared from behind it. He found Vera standing haughty. The Maya princess, displaying a forced smile towards Ryanthi. Meanwhile, Ryanthi just stared strangely at him. He doesn't know what Vera's coming for.

Vera did not answer. He only watched Ryanthi from top to bottom. Makes the girl feel sad.

"I just want to greet you. Don't let me think that I don't like your presence in this house. Yes, even if it's the truth." Vera laughed crisply.

Ryanthi smiled a sinister smile at the arrogant girl. "Just calm down, I'm not going to complain to you or Maya. Even though I know that you guys were unceasingly glaring at me while in the living room earlier," Ryanthi retorted calmly.

Vera laughed again. "Wow! My mom was right. You're braver than I thought" Vera said with a surprised expression.

Lazy for Ryanthi, when it comes to serving the girl. Meanwhile, he was trying to gather energy that had been partially lost, because of the grief of Farida's death. However, Ryanthi is aware that he will face great challenges at home that should be the most comfortable place to live. Ryanthi should not be too late in grief.

"I don't think you're going home with papa" continued Vera cynically.

"Why indeed?" ryanthi asked in surprise.

"Honestly, your arrival to this house has made the peace of my mother's life disturbed. I'm sorry that I was being too honest with you. However, you should know that we don't want this" Vera replied.

Ryanthi once again smiled a cynical smile. "I came here because of my father. I don't care about you two. If you're happy I'm here, then it'll be much better. However, if the opposite ..it is none of my business. After all, you two have been enjoying the life that should be mine for far too long. To be honest, you and your mother really have no shame." Ryanthi is getting upset.

"We'll see later. I'll make sure papa lets you go, just like he did to your mother before," Vera said.

Ryanthi's anger suddenly arises, hearing Vera allude to Farida's departure fifteen years ago. Moreover, with a tone of ridicule like that. Ryanthi clenched her right hand, gathering all her strength there.

"Should I hit this girl so she knows how to behave?" thought Ryanthi.

However, Ryanthi soon regained consciousness. He just came to that house. It is unethical if you immediately make a noise. What will Surya think of him? Moreover, he believes people like Vera and Maya must be very cunning and good at twisting facts.

"Go and don't bother me!" expel Ryanthi. He tried to avoid a fight with the girl.

"Why? Are you scared?" challenge Vera. The girl was slightly advantaged, due to her posture several inches higher than Ryanthi. Vera advanced while raising her chin, as a sign that she was not afraid at all.

Ryanthi stared intently at Maya's daughter. She had just arrived at the house, but had to face the likes of Vera and her mother straight away. It was only fitting that Farida would prefer to leave, because not one day with them, Ryanthi was already made very irritated by their attitude.

"Listen Vera. I just came to this house. So, please don't bother me now. If you want to argue with me, we'll do it next time. Today I am lazy to talk to anyone. Especially with a lump of rotten meat like you!" For a lifetime, this was the first time Ryanthi had said such a harsh word to someone. He was really annoyed at the presence of Vera in his room.

Vera was silent for a moment. He then smiled cynically. "alright. I appreciate that. I know that you are still in a mourning mood. We can continue this later. However, before you meet me, please correct your appearance first. My eyes hurt from seeing it," cried Vera, laughing with satisfaction. He passed away leaving Ryanthi.

Meanwhile, Ryanthi immediately closed the door of her room. The girl sat at the end of the bed. Ryanthi pensively thought about Vera's words. "Ah." A short complaint slid from his lips.

Ryanthi got up and stood in front of the mirror. He kept looking at himself from head to toe. The girl noticed the clothes worn at that moment. "Oh, my gosh." He's shaking fast.

Ryanthi then looked at the curtains attached to the window of the room. Taking a deep breath, the girl realized that the curtain was much more beautiful than the clothes she was wearing. "It's been an amazing life, Ryanthi," he murmured along with a slow shout.
