Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
The End of the Longing Story

Arumi stepped before Moedya. He looked at the man in his heart with his sweet. Arumi keeps the tears she doesn't want to shed in front of the man. However, as hard as Arumi held him, it turns out he still lost. The cry finally gushed in Moedya's chest.

"Don't cry" stop Moedya. It is always that word that comes from his lips to the lover.

"How can I not cry? I'm ...." Arumi could not continue his words. He kept sobbing.

"You're gonna wait for me to come back, Arum?" whispered Moedya as she stretched her embrace.

Arumi stared fixedly at the handsome man. He also nodded confidently. "Like my father waiting for my mother to return, then I will do the same to you. I'll wait for you, Moemoe ...." Speech that Moedya wants to hear and at the same time be an encouragement in serving his sentence.

"thank you. Thank you very much, Arum," Moedya replied with a happy smile. He did not have time to continue his words, as the two officers immediately led him to continue their steps towards the prisoner's special car.

While Arumi hides her face in Ryanthi's arms. While Ranum, standing firmly staring at his beloved son towards the punishment of three years that will be lived.

"I'm sorry, Miss Ryanthi. We should not have met in this situation" Ranum said as they were about to say goodbye in the parking lot.

"It's okay, Mrs Ranum. Sometimes, there are some things that happen beyond our control" Ryanthi replied with a gentle smile.

"Maybe we can continue this conversation with a much more comfortable atmosphere. Come by our shop. We can have tea together there" Ryanthi said. He invited Ranum in specially.

Ranum smiled warmly. He also nodded slowly. "certain. I'm so impressed by your invitation, Miss Ryanthi. Hopefully we can establish a relationship with much closer and familiar after this" Ranum replied.

"I only live alone with Arjuna. I mean ... Moedy. He doesn't like that first name very much" Ranum said with a faint smile on his lips. "Now ... I will be alone for the next few years," Ranum bowed. He touched the corner of his eye.

"Don't worry, Mom. I'll see Mom often" said Arumi. He immediately hugged Ranum warmly.

"Thank you, dear," replied Ranum as she touched Arumi's soft cheek.

"Don't feel alone, Mom. There are still us who will be a second family for Mother" said Arumi softly. He tried to look tough in front of the two women who were his idols.

Ryanthi and Ranum looked at each other. A moment later, the three of them threw a spirited smile and gave each other support.

That night, Ryanthi stood alone on the balcony where he used to contemplate while enjoying the night sky. A small smile on his face. Ryanthi has finished the book Adrian left behind.

The night wind began to softly blow. She gave her delicate greeting along with a warm embrace that Ryanthi felt. Ryanthi then closed her eyes for a moment.

The breath he was familiar with. Likewise with the body scent that is no longer foreign to him.

"Adrian ..." deΒ°sah Ryanthi slowly. He also opened his eyes.

"How are you, Ryanthi?" adrian whispered with a heavy voice.

"I finished the book you left me. In a moment, Keanu is getting married. Arumi has also found her true love, although she is now separated from her lover. I'm so sad to see that," restless Ryanthi. He leaned on Adrian's body.

The handsome man smiled wryly. He placed his chin on Ryanthi's shoulder. "You think Madame Indira Winata wasn't sad when she saw me in such a mess when you left?" adrian's Remembrance.

"He comes every day to my apartment. Wake myself up every morning and force for breakfast. He also gave a long talk. I even had to accompany her shopping. That's something I don't like" Adrian lamented.

Ryanthi laughed softly. "Really?" tanyakanya.

"Yes. I was very tortured at that time. Three years feels so long to me. Living in longing feels so sad. Ye know? Time seems to move very slowly, and all I remember is one thing ...."

"What's that?" ask Ryanthi.

"Yourselves" replied Adrian quietly.

"Tell Arumi and Keanu. As far as we go on a journey, we will surely arrive at that place, as long as we have a definite destination. So, always stick to the original purpose of our lives, because we will definitely get there" Adrian said.

Ryanthi turned around to look at that handsome face. He then touched it gently.

"I'll be waiting for you again, Ryanthi. Waiting for you a second time, though for now I don't know until when. But I will always wait to be with you in our second eternity. I love you and always will" Adrian stuck his forehead to Ryanthi's forehead. They both closed their eyes and absorbed the togetherness.

The longer, Ryanthi felt the breath move further away from her face. Then he opened his eyes. Adrian smiled in a white light that enveloped his entire body.

"Thank you for helping me finish reading that book. Now I'm completely calm. See you soon, Ryanthi. I'll always wait for you to come" Adrian then turned around and walked away leaving Ryanthi alone.

Limply. Ryanthi's body collapsed on the floor of the balcony. Tears fell back on the corner of her lips. Adrian goes along with the completion of the book Ryanthi read. The man won't come and see her again. Adrian will be waiting for Ryanthi to come to him.

A few months later, Keanu married Puspa. He doesn't care about anything. Keanu only wants to realize one intention in his heart, which is to bring Puspa to be a good companion for him. Although until then, Puspa's true identity is still kept secret from Ryanthi. Let time tell that to the mother.

Arumi also lived the days by busy themselves in the store. So is Moedya who is getting used to her life in the rutan. Ranum also routinely visited his only son. He always reminded Moedya to keep his appearance.

...----------------...

Three years later.

Arumi stood up half leaning on the front of her car. Wearing a three-quarter sleeve black sheath dress, she let her long hair down beautifully. Beautiful face with orange lipstick polish, looks a little anxious. The girl looked around the place where she was.

"Sorry, Miss. What time is it, now?" there was a person who asked Arumi and made the girl turn her head.

Arumi immediately straightened up the body. His eyes began to glaze over at the man who had asked. Without saying anything, the girl immediately rushed into the arms of a man who was none other than Moedya. With great joy, Moedya returned the girl's embrace. The love he so missed.

They hugged so tightly and did not care about the situation around. One thing is for sure, they just want to let go of long-saved longings.

"I miss you so much" whispered Moedya.

"I miss you a lot more" Arumi replied blissfully.

Slowly Moedya stretched out her embrace. "Let's go home" he asked.

With a big smile full of happiness and haru, Moedya grasped tightly Arumi's fingers, then led her into the vehicle. The white sedan drove gracefully, leaving a place they did not want to go again.

The two will go back to the days together, even though they never knew where life's destiny would lead them. One thing is certain, at least Arumi has proven that her spoiled self, can behave much more mature in living her love.
