Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
• TWENTY-FOUR: The Big Decision of Two Families

The sunlight pierced through Ryanthi's bedroom window curtain, as the girl began to open her eyes. He saw the clock that had shown at eight in the morning. He was shocked.

However, for a moment Ryanthi was astonished. Last night, she fell asleep in her mother's lap. But now he is in the room.

For a moment, Ryanthi fell silent while gathering all awareness. In addition, his head and neck hurt. Lazy, the girl got out of bed, then headed to the bathroom.

Today, Arshan's family will come to propose to Vera. At first, Ryanthi just wanted to get away from home. However, the beautiful girl again thought that it was not a good idea.

Hearing Arshan's answer, the anger in Ryanthi becomes more and more. "Don't be stupid! You think I'd be willing to accept a proposal from a traitor like you? It can't be!" reject Ryanthi firmly.

On the other hand, Surya was surprised to hear the answer from his biological daughter. He doesn't know what happened between Ryanthi and Arshan. "What do you mean, son?" his tanyanya made Ryanthi look over immediately.

Ryanthi looked at the father for a moment. He turned his eyes to Vera. The girl's gaze seemed to be begging, so that Ryanthi would not say anything.

However, for Ryanthi it was not the right path. Finally, he made the decision to reveal everything. "That's what happened, Dad. Arshan has betrayed me" Ryanthi explained. He turned back to Vera who was now only able to resign. "Dad wants to know why I hit Vera so badly? Guess for yourself" he said again.

Surya seemed to be knitting his brows. He looked at Vera and Arshan in turn. It seemed, the man had understood the intent of Ryanthi's words. "Vera, you ...," he pointed out.

"You're so outrageous!" surya Sentak. "Don't you know who Arshan is and what he's got to do with Ryanthi?" the man's jolt was no longer able to stem the anger.

Vera was unable to defend anything. Especially because Maya also looks very surprised by that fact.

"There's one more thing you and your aunt need to know" Ryanthi said. "Right now, Vera is pregnant" she said, thus making Maya instantly distance herself from Vera. He looked at the girl. However, Maya was unable to say anything, due to the overwhelming shock. The red-haired woman just silently gawked.

"You two are so scared!" Surya said back full of anger.

Meanwhile, Arshan and his family were silent because they were embarrassed. Both of Arshan's parents felt so humiliated. However, they realized that his son was indeed in the wrong position. "I'm sorry about us before, sir. However, the purpose of our arrival here is because we want to straighten out, even fix all this chaos" said Arshan's father.

"Our son has made a big mistake. However, it would be nice if we as parents, be wise to solve this problem," continued Arshan's father again.

"We know that Ryanthi doesn't want to accept Arshan anymore. Therefore, in order to restore our son's self-esteem and responsibility, it has been decided if this proposal is intended for Vera. Not Ryanthi. However, Arshan ...." Arshan's father was at a loss for words.

However, Surya was able to capture the intent of his speech earlier.

"I'm sorry, for abstaining from taking back something I've given to someone else. I gave Arshan away to Vera. It has been an irreversible decision" Ryanthi said. She tried hard, though her little heart rebelled and wanted to cry as hard as she could. Ryanthi chooses to return to her room, leaving the heated negotiations behind.

"So, how?" surya asked for firmness from Arshan's decision.

"You know I love Ryanthi" Arshan said after a long silence. "However, I know that there is a great responsibility towards Vera" the man said, pointing his eyes at the daughter. The look in Arshan's eyes implied something that was difficult for the girl to interpret.

I don't know what Arshan's planning. She accepts marriage to Vera, in order to cover up the disgrace Ryanthi requested. Everything's getting messed up. The kindness in the man Ryanthi had loved seemed to evaporate out of nowhere, after he fell into the charm of a moment Vera.

"Our son has agreed to marry your daughter Vera, Mr. Surya. Instead, we start planning, to have their wedding party in the near future. Moreover, because Vera is already pregnant," said the mother of Arahan. Although not willing because his son had to marry another girl, but he could not do anything, because he could not force Ryanthi to stay with Arshan.

Meanwhile, Arshan looked the other way. He notices Ryanthi, who is standing near the guardrail near the stairs. A tear fell on the girl's cheek, accompanying the big decision of Arshan's family and his family.
