● THIRTY-NINE: Scary Love

Adrian decided to go back to the apartment. He would wait until Ryanthi was much calmer. Although his feelings are still restless, but Adrian forced home. There was no point in staying there, as she was unable to meet Ryanthi in person.

Upon arrival at the apartment, Adrian sat pensively on the sofa for a while. There were many things that disturbed his mind.

Without notice, dusk fell on the city. Slowly, the dark buried all Adrian's hopes. The man moved from his seat. He moved near the opening of the swimming pool, then stood there.

The city street lights are on. Likewise with the building around his apartment. The light twinkled, making them like millions of fireflies in the darkness of night.

"What are you doing Ryanthi? Are you thinking of me?" adrian mumbling. He bowed his body resting on both arms. The night wind started to greet him. They are probably the same as Adrian. Looking for a friend to not be too lonely.

Adrian returned to correct the position of the establishment to be more upright, so that it was clearly visible the 180 cm posture.

It looks like it will be a long night for him. That night, he will be lonely again. However, will Adrian just be silent? Should she follow her heart and go back to meet Ryanthi.

A speck of courage appeared. Adrian rushes to the elevator, after grabbing the car keys. He drove back to the Surya residence.

Once there, Adrian went down. He stood in front of the gate, with a straight look fixed to Ryanthi's room. "Show yourself, baby," said Adrian slowly.

A moment later, a silhouette appeared behind the window that was now perfectly covered by the curtain, so Adrian could not see the light of the lamp in the second floor room.

"Aah!" a short complaint slid from the man's lips.

Until a while, Adrian sculpted accompanied by the cold night air. This time, he did not want to go home empty-handed. Adrian asked the security guard for permission to enter. Once in the courtyard, he picked up a pebble, then threw it right against Ryanthi's window glass twice.

Ryanthi, who was pensive at the time, immediately checked by the window. He lifted the curtain. Instantly, his gaze was fixed on the handsome face below. Adrian looks out of the phone. He called Ryanthi.

At first, Ryanthi had no intention of taking the call. But eventually he gave up. Moreover, after seeing Adrian kneeling as if begging him.

"I want to talk. Please, come out" Adrian asked. "I beg Ryanthi." Adrian lowered his head. "I want to talk to you."

"It's night, Adrian. You better go home."

"No. I won't be home until you come out and see me in person" Adrian said.

Ryanthi doesn't talk anymore. He even hung up the phone, then closed the curtains. It made Adrian feel more nervous.

However, Adrian's uneasiness instantly fades away, when Ryanthi appears in the courtyard. He stood looking at the man while looking at him. "What are you doing here?" ask Ryanthi slowly.

Glad Adrian could hear the girl's voice again. "I'm here to apologize to you" Adrian replied just as quietly. It seemed that a happy hue emanated from the pair of eyes of the handsome man.

"Wake up!" ask Ryanthi. He felt bad to see someone kneeling like that in front of him, because Ryanthi was a nobody.

However, Adrian does not obey Ryanthi's orders. The man just looked at her. "You really want me to get up?" tanyanya.

Ryanthi nodded slowly.

Adrian soon got up. However, his pleasure did not last long, because after that he saw Ryanthi immediately turned around and intended to return to his house.

Ryanthi was stunned and turned. He saw Adrian back on his knees. "Wake up!" ryanthi Sentak approaching.

"No! Before you forgive me!" reject Adrian firmly.

"What should I forgive?" Ryanthi looks annoyed.

"My mistake" answered Adrian listlessly.

Ryanthi was silent for a moment. A moment later, the girl spoke again. "Your right to do whatever you want. If you kissed me yesterday and you kissed another woman this afternoon, then I should have guessed something like that in the first place. I don't have to be disappointed or hurt. So, there is no point in kneeling like this before me. Get up and go!"

"No, Ryanthi! You misunderstood me. It didn't happen as you thought! Back then, I didn't know if Fiona suddenly kissed me." Adrian defending himself. He felt he had to give an explanation to Ryanthi.

"I don't have to accept any explanation from you. You don't have to do it. It's your life, and I have no right to forbid or regulate in any case" Ryanthi replied pretending to be tough, but inwardly feeling disappointed.

"I know you're mad at me" Adrian said. He got up, then walked over to Ryanthi.

"I shouldn't be mad at you" Ryanthi argued softly.

Adrian kept moving forward. Once the distance was close enough to Ryanthi, she was about to hold the girl's hand. However, Ryanthi immediately pulls and hides his hand back.

"I beg you, Ryanthi. Don't do this to me." Just this time, Adrian was constantly begging in front of a girl. However, he no longer cared about his prestige or pride. For Adrian, the most important thing for now is Ryanthi's apology.

Ryanthi also actually felt very uncomfortable with the situation they were in. However, what he saw earlier this afternoon was not unlike when he found Vera in one of the rooms in Arshan's house.

Ryanthi did not answer. She was worried about why she should be jealous. Why does Adrian insist on apologizing and want to give an explanation? Was Adrian always like that in treating a woman?

"Go, Adrian," Ryanthi said. His voice sounded so soft. He wasn't angry, yelling, or cursing Adrian like yesterday.

However, Ryanthi's gentle demeanor makes Adrian feel much more guilty. He's really not feeling good. Adrian prefers Ryanthi who is always being tough on him.

"Ryanth. Come maki me as much as you. Tell me whatever you want to tell me. Take out all the grunts that are in your heart, or you can slap me all over. Please, I won't refuse. But please don't shut me up. Don't act like that to me. Come get mad at me. Just get as angry as you are." Adrian begged again. He had completely stripped off all his pride as an Adrian Winata in front of Ryanthi.

Ryanthi took a few steps back. His eyes began to glaze over. "I can't be mad at you" said the girl. "I have no right to do that" he continued, shaking his head.

Looking at Ryanthi who was moving backwards, Adrian stepped forward. He intends to get closer.

However, Ryanthi immediately restrains the man. "No! Don't come near me! I just want to be alone. Go home!" tell it

Ryanthi turned around immediately. The girl stepped up quickly leaving Adrian.

"I love you, Ryanthi! I'm in love with you!" exclaim Adrian loud. He did not care, even though his voice was heard by everyone, because that was what the handsome man wanted. Adrian must prove to Ryanthi that he dares to express his feelings openly.

Ryanthi stopped her steps. However, he did not turn his head, let alone turn his back.

Meanwhile, Adrian was still standing not far from him. The man waited for Ryanthi to turn around, and greeted her with great joy.

However, Ryanthi does not turn around or just looks at him. Adrian is actually made very disappointed by the girl, because Ryanthi prefers to continue the step. He enters leaving Adrian alone there, with no regard for him anymore.

Ryanthi leaned against the wall. The girl's body collapsed to the floor. He groaned silently in the corner of the room, while holding onto the chest that felt tight. The dim light from the lamp slept there, the more it made his heart feel more gray. "Adrians." Ryanthi said softly, among her heartbreaking sobs.

He can't. Ryanthi did not dare to express her feelings towards the man. Ryanthi is too afraid of the pain when the love she is re-enacting hurts her heart.

Ryanthi has started to live her life again. He didn't want it all back to being torn apart. If until he experienced something painful like that already, then he was afraid he would not be able to stand up straight again.
