Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
SIXTY

November 15th.

That means staying about 3 months from now.

Adrian seems to have been really impatient to make Ryanthi as his wife.

Tonight, Ryanthi stands alone on her balcony. As usual, he enjoys the night breeze alone. Staring at the endless darkness of the earth blankets.

He continued to drift in his daydreams to the point of not realizing his father's presence there.

"Dad, surprise me" Ryanthi said, clutching her chest.

Seeing that, Surya just laughed softly. He also did not really mean to surprise his favorite daughter.

"Why are you alone here? At least, you can invite Father to accompany you," Surya asked as he glanced at Ryanthi. He also fixed his glasses.

"Dad is here now" replied Ryanthi.

"I was downstairs, but it looks like Dad is with Aunt Maya, so I don't dare to interrupt" Ryanthi continued.

"We're discussing your wedding plans. Did you and Adrian set your wedding date?" surya asked curiously.

Ryanthi nodded slowly. "Adrian wants us to have our wedding in November. But, that too if Dad agrees." Ryanthi replied flatly.

"Why you should disagree. The sooner the better. That means we have to prepare everything from now on, because 3 months is not a long time." Surya looked excited.

Ryanthi. His eyes were staring at the clear point that was in the dark sky.

Surya looked at him. He had no idea what the girl was thinking. But she could feel some sadness on her beautiful face.

"What's wrong? Tell Daddy everything, don't hold it yourself!" said Surya softly.

Slowly he stroked Ryanthi's long hair which occasionally moved due to the night breeze.

Ryanthi did not answer. He just put his face down. I don't know what he's hiding from his father.

But slowly, a small stuffing held was also heard in Surya's ears.

"What makes you sad?" as a father of course Surya does not have the heart to see his daughter sad like that.

Ryanthi did not answer her father's question.

Surya knew what he had to do.

He immediately grabbed the beautiful princess into his arms.

"Dad not only wants to guess what you are thinking right now, but Dad also tries to be able to dive into your heart. If what you think is true, I just want to say that you are not alone right now. You can share your grief with Dad." Surya hugs Ryanthi warmly, and he occasionally kisses the girl's head.

"But I really miss my mom. Before I left for Paris, he always came to me when I was alone. He was always with me until I fell asleep in his arms.

But at that time, I told him to rest in peace, and he never saw me again" Ryanthi said.

Ryanthi sobbed in her father's arms.

Surya kept trying to calm him down.

"Let your mother rest in peace. And let me do my duty as a father. From now on, free your heart and welcome a new day,"

Surya unceasingly stroked the girl's hair.

Slowly Ryanthi releases herself from her father's embrace.

"Mom would love to see me married. He always told me to marry Arshan. But now everything has changed a lot.

I'm sorry I didn't get to introduce you to Adrian."

Surya looked at Ryanthi. He returned to correct the location of his glasses.

"Not everything we want we get. Not all of our hopes are fulfilled. Even though your mother didn't get to see you with Adrian, I'm sure she can still see you from a distance" she said wisely.

Surya wiped away the remains of tears dripping down the corner of his lips.

He tried to calm his daughter.

"Dad sure Adrian can take good care of you. He's a responsible man. I've known him for a long time, though I never knew what his personal life was like. However, he has proven it to you by waiting for you for 3 years.

I just hope that you can live a harmonious household. Don't do things like your mom and dad did. I don't want that to happen in our family. Either that's for you, or Vera. My hope and prayers are always the same,"

Slowly Surya took off his glasses and touched the corner of his eye.

Ruanthi looked at the father. He felt bad when he was in a situation like this.

"May I ask you something, Dad?" ryanthi asked with some hesitation.

Surya looked up and nodded.

"Why didn't you legally marry Aunt Maya? It's not like he's been with Dad all this time. Even when mom and I were not around, Aunt Maya was taking care of Dad here" Ryanthi looked at Surya with a curious face.

Surya did not answer immediately. He just took a deep breath and threw it slowly.

He did not expect Ryanthi to ask him that.

"Why are you suddenly asking about it?" he turned back to Ryanthi.

"I just feel bad to see Aunt Maya in such a position. I'm sure he would have wanted a marriage more than that" Ryanthi replied.

"We're not young anymore. I'm not thinking that way either" Surya replied. He seems to have no intention of doing that.

"But, don't you feel sorry for Aunt Maya? He was hoping to really bear my last name. If you want to take my advice, I think Aunt Maya needs an award, too. Regardless of how his attitude and nature were all along, it was only because he was afraid of losing Father."

"May I tell you to talk to Dad?" search Surya.

Ryanthi. "Nobody told me to talk to Dad about this. It's purely from my own thinking" Ryanthi argued.

Surya was silent again. His eyes stared blankly at the dark end of the sky. I don't know what he's thinking right now.

Likewise with Ryanthi, he might also stare at the same thing as his father.

......................

The marriage date has been agreed on by both parties. And Ryanthi began to busy himself with all the things that must be prepared.

Adrian was not silent. He is happy to help Ryanthi, although sometimes they differ and sometimes end up in a dispute.

But one that is unique from the relationship between the two of them, that is, no matter how great the quarrel, then it will never drag on. As always, Adrian will come to seduce the girl with his romantic snobs.

Sometimes he is also silly so that makes Ryanthi inevitably have to laugh too.

Like that day, when they were determining the number of invited guests.

"Why are there so many guests?" Ryanthi is surprised by the guest list Adrian gives her.

"That's also some that I passed by. I feel bad if I don't invite them" Adrian reasoned.

"You didn't put your ex-boyfriends on this list, did you?" ryanthi asked suddenly. The stress made him hallucinate.

Adrian complained short of hearing a silly question from his future wife. He had no idea what Ryanthi was thinking at the moment.

"Whatchu mean? Of course not!" adrian answered annoyed. For some reason lately Ryanthi has suddenly become sensitive.

"Are you PMS?" adrian asked in a somewhat annoyed tone.

"What's the problem with PMS?" ryanthi replied with a wrinkled face.

Adrian looked at the girl closely. He knows Ryanthi may be quite stressed about her marriage.

He stood up and extended his hand towards Ryanthi. The girl looked at him. Adrian hints for Ryanthi to receive a helping hand.

With her face still pouting, Ryanthi accepted. They go somewhere.

A few minutes later, Adrian stopped his car.

And the place they were headed to managed to make Ryanthi smile.

Ilan.

It's been a while since Ryanthi came back from Paris, he hasn't visited the place. Honestly, if he really misses the wind and the waves that are there.

Adrian invited him down.

Stand close together and lean on the front of Adrian's car.

They both need that.

"Draining the energy?" adrian asked calmly.

Ryanthi did not answer. He just let out a complaint from his mouth.

"This is also my first thing. I don't know if it feels like this either. I was very nervous, even my hands were sometimes wet from sweating" Adrian said calmly.

Ryanthi turned and looked at him for a moment.

"I'm also very nervous. There are only two months left and a lot of things are troubling me. Even something I had never frowned upon, they suddenly came in and harassed me" Ryanthi lamented.

This is called Bridezilla.

Even though their wedding is still 2 months away, and the burden has begun to be felt Ryanthi, especially if he has imagined the guests who attended are from all business circles.

He should always be prepared with a sweet smile and a friendly face.

He also thought about how thick the makeup will stick on his face, how will it be to clean it?

Her hair? His head will feel dizzy if his hair is tied too tightly.

While from the video he watched on the internet, he saw how complicated the make up of a bride.

Ryanthi, he had even thought of such a thing. And that little thing makes it stressful.

What else makes it more stressful?

When he saw the footage on television of those who fooled WO abba-abal, empty cathering, and many other things he thought.

Including how his days later after he became Adrian's wife.

The man is very annoying, even before becoming his wife he has been playing orders, especially if later he really has become his wife. Adrian wants 2 children.

My God, he doesn't even know how to take care of a child, and Adrian wants 2?

"Everything needs a process. Aunty used to be like that, too" Maya told Ryanthi.

"When he was married to his father Vera, Aunt was only 21 years old, younger than you or Vera.

However, over time we will know for ourselves and find out where the gap is. And in the end, it won't be a burden to us anymore" he explained.

"After all, Adrian can pay a lot of housekeepers if you ask for it. And you just sit quietly, dress up pretty and make your husband happy" Maya said.

Ryanthi smiled hearing that. Maya is telling herself, and she wants Ryanthi to follow in her footsteps.
