Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
● SIXTY TWO

Ryanthi was shocked. He looked around him. He was in Adrian's room. On the bed with a soft gray bed cover. Ryanthi tries to calm herself down, managing her breathing well.

Ryanthi sat down hugging her knees and sobbed. Why would he have to have such a dream?

It was a very scary dream for him. Even though he had made it through that phase, but the pain had not succeeded in making him forget not to cry. Tears flowed from both corners of her eyes. She misses her mother, Farida.

A moment later, Adrian enters and is shocked to see Ryanthi's condition. Soon he approached the woman who had now become his wife.

"What's wrong?" Adrian asked as he hugged Ryanthi warmly. His face looked worried.

Ryanthi hid her face in her husband's chest. He could say nothing but cry with a very heart-wrenching sound.

"You dreaming?" Ask Adrian again.

Ryanthi nodded slowly.

Adrian then stroked his wife's hair gently. He had no idea what kind of dream Ryanthi had made him cry like that, but it must have been a very scary dream for Ryanthi.

That night, Ryanthi sat with Adrian who was busy plucking his guitar strings.

A song he sang for Ryanthi.

Angels Brought Me Here _ Guy Sebastian

Ryanthi listened to him with shining eyes. He loves Adrian's voice, he falls in love with the way the man plays the guitar and sings for him. Although this is a song that he just heard, but it seems he must memorize immediately.

"My dreams came true

when I found you, I found you

my miracle

if you could see what I see

youre the answers to my prayers

if you could feel the tenderness I feel

you would know it would be clear

that angels brought me here"

A moment later, Adrian finished the song. He glanced at Ryanthi who was looking at him and immediately kissed Ryanthi on the forehead gently.

"You want to sleep now?" Adrian asked with a calm smile.

Ryanthi. He was afraid to sleep and closed his eyes. He also nodded slowly.

"Fear of having nightmares again?" Ask Adrian again slowly. Ryanthi did not answer. He just bowed.

Adrian kept looking at her with a curious face. "You want to tell me?" Adrian asked as he put his guitar next to the couch. Ryanthi. His face looked very sad.

Adrian immediately grabbed Ryanthi into his arms. Ryanthi puts her head in Adrian's chest.

"I saw the shadow of my childhood in my dream. I also saw my mother lying sick, on the last day I left her to look for my father. Somehow my past flashbacks have to reappear" Ryanthi recounted.

"Maybe it's because you miss your mother" Adrian replied.

"But it makes me feel so much pain, Adrian! I felt that all the power in me was gone instantly, and all that was left was sadness."

"Don't talk like that! Look, I used to be very close to my papa. We used to do a lot of things together. We played the play station together for hours. I am also like you, I feel unwilling and blame the circumstances that have taken my father away from me. But, what do I get? There aren't. I tortured myself and Papa still didn't come back. If you have truly given up your mother, then let go! You still have me."

Ryanthi sat up straight and looked at the man who was now her husband. Adrian replied with a warm smile.

"We're starting a new chapter in our lives.

Forget all the sad past! Now, let's start a new chapter! Ryanthi and Adrian. Let's write a story about us! Both of us, in a new book. So, let's keep that old book. Let it be a memory, though there are too many stories in it," Adrian clasped Ryanthi's fingers tightly. Ryanthi understood. Although heavy heart, but it should be so.

Now he has started a new chapter with Adrian, a man who has struggled so hard to get him to a new chapter in his life. He deserves to give the man the right credit.

She knew that Farida had now rested in peace and released all the pain and suffering in her life. Farida was now sound asleep in the wind. Ryanthi shouldn't be constantly harassing him.

Maybe she never showed herself again in front of Ryanthi. But Ryanthi believes that all the spirit of life that his mother has will always be in him. In keeping with his promise, he will always be in Ryanthi's heart. Patrien in Ryanthi's memory.

Let it be a memory, without being a mental burden that will only torment his own conscience.

Ryanthi realized, his life path is still very long. His big goals are not yet fully fulfilled. Now he must fight again to achieve his dream, realizing what he and Farida dream together.

While on the other hand, there was a handsome man who also had big dreams with him. A dream that he also has to make.

The man who became his spirit and strength this time to be able to go further, to be able to climb the stairs to the top of the mountain above the clouds. Adrian.

......................

With sure steps and full of confidence, Ryanthi walked over the small bridge. The white stilettos also seemed glittering in the sun that afternoon. So is the floral dress green tosca she wears. The bottom of the dress was moved by the sea breeze which was quite strong.

Ryanthi occasionally flicked her wind-blown hair and covered her face. Black glasses are now not left accompanying him when staring at the blue sea water.

Ryanthis. I don't know what dreams he had when Adrian handed over a huge responsibility to him, to be able to manage his luxury resort. For the past few years, she has been living her days as a career woman. That is all a challenge for Ryanthi who has never been in the business world or the like, in addition to selling home cakes of course.

But he has a great husband. Someone who always gave him full support for every step and decision he took, although sometimes Adrian had to work hard to help him so that he could become like Ryanthi who is now.

Ryanthi is Ryanthi. She is still a woman with a soft heart. He loves the wind and the sky. He was also faithful to the dark night sky.

Like that afternoon. Ryanthi enjoyed the sea breeze alone. Raised his black glasses and stared at the vast ocean with a radiant face.

Ryanthis. I don't know how he felt this time. All these years he went through without Farida at his side. In fact, he was still able to stand upright even with the 10cm shoes he was wearing at the moment.

So many years passed, and the gust of wind still felt the same. Nothing changed when the wind greeted her beautiful face. Her mother still felt very comfortable, peaceful.

It is different from Ryanthi's life. There are many new things in his life, including someone running up to him.

"Mother!" Call a little boy.

Ryanthi then looked. A boy ran up to him. He's less than five years old. He had a very similar face to Adrian, the man who followed the boy from behind with a calm smile. Ryanthi smiled broadly as she welcomed the child into her arms.

Keanu, cold breeze from the mountain.

Adrian stood looking at them with his smile. "You done here?" Ask.

Ryanthi stood up. "What's wrong?" He asked back.

"Keanu wants to eat pizza. I told you, his mother's pizza is so much better than any pizza. However, this boy insisted on eating pizza at his favorite place" explained Adrian without turning his gaze away from Ryanthi's pretty face.

Ryanthi glanced at the boy who was cool to see the sea from behind the wooden barrier.

He turned his eyes to Adrian.

"Keanu?" The eyes of the mother of one child were implying a sense of disbelief.

Adrian laughed softly. He can't lie to Ryanthi. He approached his beloved wife and embraced her affectionately.

"Me" he answered with his mischievous eyes and smile. Ryanthi laughed softly.

"I missed you so much today. Don't you forget, is this our wedding anniversary? After all, Mama invited us to dinner at her house" Adrian said.

Ryanthi nodded slowly.

"I've contacted Maya's father and aunt. They will also be present" Ryanthi added.

"Goodoo. We'll get together. Family party," Adrian's smile grew,

greeted by Ryanthi's smile that is no less developed.

Adrian continued to look at the woman who was still in his arms tightly. A moment later, a warm kiss was given to his wife accompanied by the wind and the sounds of the ocean.

"Mother, let's go home!" Invite Keanu to make them realize that at that time they were not both.

"Hey, Boy!" Call Adrian.

Keanu turned his head, as if he had gotten used to the call from his father. He also approached his father and mother.

Ryanthi immediately grabbed the boy's hand, as well as Adrian.

The two of them clasped Keanu's wrists tightly, leading from the child's left and right sides, down a small wooden bridge that jutted into the open sea.

Hopefully the two of them can always hold Keanu's hand until later when they really have to let go. Being a real parent, who is not selfish and only attach importance to what they feel without asking what their child feels.

Hopefully Ryanthi and Adrian will always be parents who can be role models for their children.
