Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
Curiosity

Arumi was surprised not to play when he saw someone sitting on his motorcycle, outside the gate of his house that night.

The girl also narrowed her two clear eyes. He ascertained whether what he saw was really the man he had in mind at the moment or not.

A moment later, he grabbed the cellphone lying on a wooden chair, in the corner of the balcony. He also contacted someone who was none other than Moedya.

"Is that you?" ask Arumi quietly when the call has been connected.

"Yes, it's me" came the answer from the heavy voice. He made sure he was Moedya.

"Should I go there?" asked Arumi doubtfully.

"No need! It's night," forbid Moedya. "I won't be long either, anyway" he continued.

Arumi was silent for a moment. He was still holding the cell phone he had attached near his ear. He looked at the man sitting on his motorbike outside the gate of his house.

"Then ... What are you doing here? These nights?" arumi asked with her half-whispering voice. He was amazed by Moedya's presence there.

Moedya did not answer immediately. He was still staring at the balcony of the magnificent house. He quite enjoyed staring at the long haired girl from a distance.

"I just want to make sure you're okay. He also took a short breath. In fact, Moedya himself did not know the fundamental reason for his coming to the house.

"Why?" Arumi asked back. "I'm okay?" Arumi answered the question Moedya asked her.

"Today ...." Moedya did not continue his words, he just laughed softly.

Arumi's face immediately scowled when she heard the sound of Moedya's laughter as if mocking her. A moment later, he laughed too.

"No! Don't talk about this!" ban Arumi. "That's so embarrassing!" his weakness.

"Are you like that often?" moedya Guyon. The question has clearly made Arumi wide-eyed.

"Abroad! Of course not!" arumi.

"It's also because of you. Because you've been stalling my time until I finally ...."Arumi did not continue his words. He just mumbled slowly. "Easy! No need to talk about it!" close Arumi with shame in her.

"Have you forgotten that you still have unpaid debts to me?" continued Arumi. He again reminded of the 'barter' between himself and Moedya.

Moedya did not answer immediately. He seemed to know the meaning of Arumi's words. "Your brother will definitely kill me!" abugn.

"So .. will you cheat on me?" arumi hatch.

"No! Of course it's not like that" Moedya argued. "I just feel bad for him" she explained.

"Reason!" arumi Tuding.

"Yes, already. I'll just go home" answered Moedya.

"You mean to avoid?" accuse Arumi with annoyance.

"I'm not here to talk about your brother" said Moedya.

"Yes, already! Just go home!" Arumi.

"Wow .. are you angry?" asked Moedya who was accompanied by a soft laugh.

"You suck!" gerundel Arumi's.

Moedya laughed softly. He felt satisfied to tease the girl.

"Laugh all you want!" Arumi was getting more and more annoyed.

"I'd better just go home" said Moedya. He also ended his laughter. However, his gaze was still fixed on the girl on the balcony.

Arumi did not answer. He just stared as he continued to glare at the man outside the gate.

"Arumi ..." said Moedya again in half a whisper. "Good night." he continued.

Arumi awakens from her short daydream. "You ...really going home?" arumi asked with a slight regret in her tone.

"Then? What do you want?" ask Moedya.

Arumi was silent for a moment. A moment later, he passed from the balcony. Walk in a fast and hasty pace. Get down the stairs and then get out of the house. Arumi ran towards the gate.

Moedya who saw Arumi running towards the gate immediately came down from the top of his motorbike. He was standing outside the gate with a cell phone still attached to his ear.

"You ... come here?" moedya.

Moedya continued to look at the girl who was now standing behind the gate. Right in front of him.

"Tell me, Moemoe!" arumi Pinta. "What brings you here?" tanyakanya.

"You think?" Moedya asked back.

Arumi did not answer. He just looked at the man in the leather jacket.

"Eitherway. Suddenly ... I want to see you," said Moedya without turning her gaze.

Arumi lowered her face. "Don't tease me!" reject it.

"So you've been tempted by just saying that?" moedya.

Arumi took a long breath. He then folded his hands on his chest.

"I probably wouldn't feel tempted if the one who said that was my parents" Arumi calmly replied. He seemed to be building a fortress of self-defense from the temptation of the tattooed man.

"How is it different from me?" lure Moedya again.

Arumi laughed softly. He looked at the man standing behind the gate.

"Because those words came out of the mouth of a man who almost kissed me yesterday. What do you think? Or is it not something strange to you?"

Now it was Moedya's turn to laugh softly. He did not expect because Arumi would discuss the incident near the lake. He thought that the girl was still curious about him.

"I've never kissed a girl I just met" said Moedya calmly.

"That means .. I should be safe around you right now."

"Yup. There's no reason for you to be afraid of me .." said Moedya.

"Thank God. So then?" ask Arumi.

"Eitherway. I don't even know what we're talking about right now."

Arumi remained silent. He still looked at the man. For a moment he thought that what Moedya had just said was true.

What was he arguing with that man? Why bother with something unimportant. Is there really nothing else, to be the topic of conversation between them?

"Maybe you should go home" Arumi suggested.

"You want me to go home now?" ask Moedya. He seemed to hope that Arumi would rectify his words.

"This ... it's been too late. Tomorrow I have to go to the store early in the morning," replied Arumi despite the look on her face showing the opposite.

Moedya nodded slowly. "okay! Come inside!" tell it. "I won't leave until I see you completely disappear behind that door" she said, pointing to Arumi's door.

"OK," replied Arumi slowly. "Are you going to take me to the lake again?" ask Arumi. He immediately poked his lips, regretting the question he had asked Moedya.

"If you want to" answered Moedya.

Arumi smiled gently. It was a smile that represented an answer from him.

"Tomorrow I will pick you up," said Moedya again in an almost flat tone.

Arumi nodded slowly.

"Come in!" ask Moedya. His voice sounds so deep.

"Good night" said Arumi. He then turned his body and stepped in with a strange feeling that he could not yet describe clearly.

Arumi felt this way when he first met Edgar. However, his curiosity for Edgar was not as great as his curiosity for Moedya.

Edgar's a much easier man to guess. He is open and without secrets. While Moedya, the man seemed to keep a lot of question marks that Arumi had to find the answer.

Arumi can feel it all from the look in her eyes and facial expressions, which look like someone living side by side with a considerable sense of discomfort.

What or who made Moedya like that? One thing is certain, Arumi felt challenged to get to know the man further.

Arumi had disappeared behind that tall and sturdy door. While Moedya was still standing there, where she had been standing since.

There are many girls he knows. Should he approach the sister of his own best friend?

Moedya knew Keanu well, and vice versa. He knew and could guess if Keanu would not like it if he approached his beloved sister. However, somehow because Arumi has managed to present a feeling that makes him challenged to get to know the girl.

Moedya had only met him a few times. Sometimes the girl looks so innocent and spoiled. But sometimes they look so mature too.

What kind of girl is Arumi? It's certainly not that difficult for a man like Moedya, to be able to figure that out in such a short time.
