Secret Marriage
Chapter 17 The Secret Marriage

Dila sat in front of her dresser. He was still thinking about Tio's relationship with his mother. Dila wanted to ask her mother but to open her eyes her mother could not.

"What's up, Yank?" Zian hugged Dila from behind, Dila looked at Zian from the reflection of the mirror.

"Let's sleep." Dila was about to move but Zian was getting closer to his embrace.

"Say, what's wrong?" whisky Zian.

"Just a job problem." Dila was hesitant to ask about Tio further.

"Don't you want to resign? I don't want you to have this kind of mind."

Zian twisted Dila's body, now they were facing each other.

"Don't, it's my mom's dream, too, I don't want to take it off."

Zian held onto Dila's two shoulders, "say if you need my help." Zian's warm gaze seemed to make Dila calm.

Dila nodded, indeed Zian should help her. But Dila was afraid Zian would take offense.

The two of them headed to the bed, laying down their tired bodies after a long day of activity. The room lamp was also extinguished, leaving a small lamp on the table next to the bed.

"Honey," call Dila.

"Hm." Zian lay down and was still busy reading some messages on his phone.

"Do you think it's true that Tio's a drug dealer?" dila asked quietly, her voice sounding trembling and scared.

Zian put down his phone and looked at Dila. "Why talk to him?" zian's question seemed intimidating.

"Hm.. No, I'm just asking, what do you think?"

"I don't know and don't want to know." Zian turned to Dila.

Dila hugged Zian from behind, "don't get mad, I'm just asking."

"He's a dangerous man, don't find out anything about him, if you have a problem, ask me."

"So I can ask you, right?"

Zian let out a long sigh, then he turned around and looked at Dila. "Don't tell me you have a job to find out about Tio."

Dila bit her lower lip, indicating she was anxious. "Please, I." Finally Dila said everything especially about the photo of her mother with Tio.

Zian looked so enthusiastic hearing everything Dila said. They both sat down, no longer lying down.

"Maybe they only know for a moment, nothing special" Zian said after Dila told him everything.

Dila looked at Zian's face, "is there something you're hiding?"

"What?"

"Tell Zian, do you know anything?" ask Dila with a hopeful look.

"No, honey, I've only heard rumors, just like you, I don't have any proof." Zian held onto Dila's cheeks.

"I'll find everything myself if you don't tell me." Dila pulled herself up and laid her body again.

"What are you gonna do?"

"So, I just want to know what my mom's relationship is with Tio's sister." Dila pulled the blanket over her entire body, turning her back to Zian.

Zian snorted, "if I know something, I'll tell you, but don't act rashly." Zian stood up and left Dila in the room, heading to the living room.

Zian sat on the sofa after picking up a soda in the kitchen. Cigarette smoke came out of Zian's mouth. There was a look of despair on his face. "It seems, it's time" murmured Zian.

The sound of pounding heels collided with the hospital floor. His legs stepped quickly because of the lunch break he used to go visit his mother. Hoping for a miracle to make her mother aware and explain her true circumstances.

When she saw her mother who was still lying as usual, Dila felt that her mother had a lot of things to tell her. About Tio, about her mother's past, who her father was.

After feeling enough to see his mother's condition, Dila went out of his mother's nursery. As he walked in the hospital corridor he met Indra. Dila just stared and nodded her head as she passed by, no chatter as usual. Dila continued to step without looking again, in contrast to Indra, he looked at Dila's back who was walking until it disappeared when Dila turned at the end of the hospital corridor.

Dila immediately took an online taxi that she had ordered before leaving her mother's ward. He picked up the phone in his bag, sliding the flat object doubtfully when he saw the contact, he chose one of the names. He hesitantly pressed the button with the phone and placed the phone near his ear.

"Hello. I want to meet," Dila told someone on the phone.

****

Dila sits next to the glass of a restaurant, she does not return to the office after asking Aldo for permission.

Netra Dila stared at the street behind the glass restaurant, waiting for someone to appear. It looks like the weather is overcast.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." A voice broke Dila's daydream. He looked at the face he was waiting for.

"Please sit down." I sat down but without a smile.

"Why do you suddenly want to meet me?" ask the man while sitting down.

Dila turned her head in a deep breath, "obviously to me, why did you suddenly hate me before you left for Japan first, Sat?" Dila looked at Netra Satya. Full of questioning.

As Satya stared at Dila's netra, there was a desire to make Dila look at her gently. Dila looked at him full of warmth and love. But Satya knew that it was not easy after several times he upset Dila.

"You said you liked you from us Junior High, but why do you hate me for no reason?"

Satya looked the other way, he wanted to explain to Dila but felt heavy. "What are you asking that for?"

"Suddenly I want to know." Dila looked outwards, through the glass. The rain started to fall.

"I don't have to answer the question, most importantly you know enough, if I love you right now." This time Satya looked at Dila even though Dila was looking the other way.

"If only you would explain, maybe I could bring your feelings together." Dila turned her head and looked at Satya fixedly.

Satya was flabbergasted to hear Dila's words. There was a happy twinkle in Satya's eyes.

"Are you sure?" ask Satya.

Dila let out a long sigh, "i can consider." Dila drank her drink. As if trying to drive away his anger.

"But I don't have an answer that's gonna make your curiosity go away."  Satya netra is enjoying the rain again.

Silent.

Dila and Satya stared at the rain in silence for a while.

"Is that really hard for you? Do you know more about my life than I do?" Dila still enjoys the rain.

"I don't want to make you regret my answer, if you really want to consider my feelings, just accept this feeling, I'm willing even if you share it with Om Zian."

Dila turned her head, staring at Satya who could speak arbitrarily made Dila upset.

"You can stick with Om Zian, you can also be with me, right now I can't give you what Om Zian gave you."

"What do you mean?" ask Dila.

"Om Zian has a lot of material because he's willing to do anything like my papa, but I'm not like them." Satya looked at Dila. "Right now you want to be with Om Zian because of the material, right?"

Plaques

"Don't try to find out anything about my family! If you want to be happy, leave Om Zian and go with me." Satya did not care about her cheeks that were flushed red because of Dila's slap.

"Omong empty." Dila moved and left Satya who was still pensive staring at Dila's departure.

"Better this is Dila, the more you hate me then there is no room in your heart to accept me, no matter how hateful you are to me, I will still love you" Satya murmured.

Now Satya sits alone and still enjoys the rain that is still not over. Satya's memory laughed at the incident when she was a teenager. The most difficult time he encountered.

That afternoon, fifteen-year-old Satya was working on a task from her teacher. Unfortunately Satya's laptop is damaged by falling after school. Satya wants to ask her papa to borrow her papa laptop for a while. The whole house is out. There's only Satya at home.

Satya walks into her papa's study, which happens to be unlocked. Satya traced his papa's workspace, Satya was rarely into his papa's workspace, but he knew if there was a laptop there. Satya finds the laptop and turns it on.

For a while Satya did his job well, but when saving his duties, Satya opened some documents that his papa kept. Satya accidentally clicked on the file belonging to his father because the title that Satya wrote for his file is the same as the file owned by his father, the file is called BLOOD. Satya thought it was her file because indeed the task of One is about blood. But Satya was surprised, the file did not belong to her.

Satya was stunned, he read the file, there was written data on several places to transact drugs. There are also some photos of Papa Satya making transactions.

Being quite surprised by the file, Satya opened all the files on his papa laptop. Satya also searched the email on the laptop. But this time it was a more surprising reality for Satya. In addition to selling drugs, it turns out that Satya's papa is a top class mafia.

Satya could not believe what she saw, her body shook because she only realized that she was the son of a criminal. Though all this time his father looks good and famous for his generosity. It doesn't look at all if the papa is a criminal.

But Satya's curiosity can't be stopped, his hand goes through all the files after files and also his papa's email.

Some emails opened Satya with trembling hands, where his father was telling some people to find out the whereabouts of the son and wife of a friend he had killed through a hitman. Satya thought that her father must have told her to find the child and the mother to eliminate him as well, just as her father did to the man who became the father and husband who had been eliminated first.

And it turns out that there was an email that his father had not opened, very afraid of an answer if the messenger had killed the mother and child, Satya tried to open it. One moment opened the email because it contained a photo of Dila with a woman who was most likely Dila's mother.

Satya stared at the email with mixed feelings. This is a photo of the girl who had become his friend some time ago, the girl who had given Satya the spirit of learning. The special girl he knew through the inter-school competition.

"No, I won't let Dila become my papa's victim." Satya held back tears of fear and disappointment towards her papa.

With no thought, Satya replied to an email from her papa's man.

[Okay, then let me do it myself. It's your job, don't call me anymore! ]

Satya wrote, as if he were her papa. Then Satya immediately deleted Dila's photo and address from the laptop. Satya immediately erased his tracks, including the task that was done earlier, he did not want his father to realize if he had used his papa laptop.

Since then Satya has been looking for a way to make Dila okay. Satya also did not want her father to know the existence and identity of Dila. But Satya did not dare to tell Dila the truth.

Because of that, Satya made Dila hate him, even with various cunning ways, Satya made Dila move to another city, this is so that Dila is not one city with her papa.

Satya had the heart to make Dila's mother lose her job by damaging the results of the stitches that Dila's mother had done. The stitches belong to someone else. Satya had also slandered Dila if he was a thief. Due to the various misery of life, Dila and her mother left the city, especially after the departure of her grandmother.

Still remembered when Dila cried before Dila moved, at that time Satya noticed Dila from afar. His heart was so broken seeing Dila sad. Wanting to strengthen Dila, but this was the goal, he wanted Dila to leave. What makes Satya feel guilty is that no matter how bad she is, Dila never shared her pain, she just kept it.

Satya and Dila meet at an Olympics. Satya knew that Dila was crying, but when she met Satya, Dila showed her cheerful face, as if there was nothing.

"We compete sportively, yes," said Dila at the time.

"I'll congratulate you if you win" Dila continued with a smile.

Satya instead looked at Dila cynically, "i had an agreement before the Olympics began" Satya said.

Once again Dila smiled even though Satya was looking at her cynically, "say!"

"Don't call me and approach me when I can calm him down at this Olympics! Let's just say we never know each other," said Satya firmly to make Dila stunned.

"What's this?" ask Dila.

Satya let out a long sigh, preparing the words to make Dila hate her even though Satya herself hated to say it.

"I hate you, Dila!" Satya moves on but Dila chases after her. Ask what is wrong and ask for an explanation.

The Olympics begin and once completed, the grades will be revealed immediately. At that time Dila was trying to find Satya, but Satya was hiding, he was afraid that if he met Dila he would say various harsh words again. Satya waited until the Olympic announcement.

But when the announcement was made it turned out that Satya's value was below Dila. "Hows it? Isn't my value above yours, can we still be friends?" ask Dila as they read the Olympic bulletin board.

Satya does not know what to do, she wants Dila to get below the value because she thinks Dila will stay away from him and if Dila's better value at least does Dila hate Satya because of Satya's rude speech?

"I hate you even more, Dila! It turns out you did all sorts of things to beat me." Satya snapped at Dila in front of many people.

"What's up, Vin?" Dila grabbed Satya's arm.

But Satya brushed it off, "Dila, don't ever be in front of me! I'm sick of you!" satya snapped and left Dila.

Satya held back her tears as much as she could, she did not want Dila to know if she had to do this.

From that moment on he no longer spoke to Dila, but he still often watched Dila silently. Satya was still worried because Dila had not moved. This makes Satya forced to terrorize Dila's house. Hope Dila and her mother are scared.

And when he found out that Dila and her mother had moved, Satya was relieved. At least Dila and her mother are safe, but in Satya's heart is very sad, she has lost her best friend.

Satya becomes a lazy child, he also often fights his papa. Satya's parents become confused about Satya's attitude.

One night Tio, Satya's papa was on the phone. Unintentionally Satya who was passing by also listened, Satya was afraid if the email he returned on behalf of his father was met by his father.

Satya stands behind the door, trying to steal his papa's conversation.

"Roni has not told me, it could be that he has been caught on another case, it is the most important thing my name is not mentioned" Tio said on the phone.

"Finish the delivery to Vietnam, let me know when it's done" Tio continued.

Satya was grateful to hear the news that her father did not know if he had replied and deleted the messenger's email.

"What are you doing, Satya?" suddenly her mother was behind Satya who was eavesdropping.

Satya had not yet answered that her papa had come out of the workspace. Satya is confused, she is in a critical position, papa and her mother catch her wet eavesdropping.

***

Tio exhaled cigarette smoke from his mouth, he stood looking at Satya who was sitting on his study couch. Rima was sitting next to Satya.

"So you've heard anything?" tio asked with a gripping look. But Satya the teenager was still down, trying to make the right excuse.

"Say, Satya!" snapped Tio.

"Don't be too rough, Mas" said Rima as she stroked Satya's back. "Say. Son! Whatever you hear, papa won't punish you."

Satya is still down.

"Don't just shut up!" snapped Tio was about to slap Satya but was tepis by Rima. Rima's body almost fell holding Tio's burly hand.

Satya is now looking at her papa's face, "not that papa will punish me, but I will make papa punished" Satya said firmly.

Rima hugged Satya. "already, don't fight your papa!" Rima's cry broke out as she hugged Satya.

Since then, Satya no longer wants to see her father. He wanted to leave the house but Rima prevented it, for that Rima took the middle way, Rima sent Satya to Japan.

Satya who also did not want to meet Dila, she agreed to the wishes of her mother. Satya felt this was the best thing. Although he held back his annoyance at his papa, he was also sad to leave Dila.

Satya just has a dream, forgets Dila and wishes Dila well. Satya did not want what she made to Dila to be in vain, let Dila hate her as long as Dila was fine.

So, if now Satya had to be hated by Dila once again for the sake of Dila's safety, wouldn't that be something she had to do again?
