Chapter 65 The Secret Marriage

This morning Diandra had left for Jakarta, only alone without Mama Mona according to what was suggested by Uncle Usman.

Arriving at the Anggara office, Diandra was welcomed by Mommy Isabel but without words. Just a warm hug full of longing. Then next Diandra was invited to sit while waiting for Dad Andreas who was still talking on the phone with Dad Willy.

The look in Mommy Isabel's eyes exuded a sense of sadness, but Diandra couldn't guess what. Or maybe his sadness was because of him.

Not long after, Dad Andreas walked in with a face that held in anger. He looked at Diandra who was sitting quietly in front of him.

"I don't want any pleasantries, Diandra. You already know how my company is. My three grandchildren are with you. Which means that you and Anggara have the upper hand. But now things seem to be turning around again. Not for my benefit but for someone else. It's for sure you and I are gonna lose it all."

Diandra was still flirting with her own thoughts. Is there anything else that is dangerous. But what?, who?.

Diandra did not understand the direction of Dad Andreas' conversation, until he asked Dad Andreas again.

"Can Mr Andreas tell me more clearly?. Because to be honest I don't understand what Mr. Andreas said before."

Aggara..."

"Let me talk to Diandra, Dad. You're just getting some fresh air outside."

"Diandra's..." Mommy Isabel approached, then she sat down on the chair that had been prepared by Dad Andreas before she left her room.

"What's the matter with my husband?."

Diandra clasped Mommy Isabel's hand. Strengthen her heart if anything bad happens to her husband.

"Don't call me, madam. But call me Mommy, Di. I'm your Mommy too."

Then Mommy Isabel reveals what happened to Anggara and Regina. Diandra's grasp is getting hardened to hear the story of Mommy Isabel. But it hasn't come to the end. What if Diandra knew the true condition of Anggara.

Mommy Isabel continues the story because of Diandra's insistence. Then Mommy Isabel tells Regina that she must lose her life in the accident. Diandra is very concerned about what happened to Regina.

"Then what about my husband, Mom?."

"The two Anggara legs were the worst of the accident. And there's a possibility of amputation."

Diandra immediately hugged Mommy Isabel because she could not hold back her sadness anymore. Diandra's cry broke out in the arms of Mommy Isabel and Mommy Isabel tightened her embrace on Diandra's body. Both strengthen each other.

Silent for a while, only the sound of sobs from the two women could be heard filling the room of Dad Andreas.

Both of them were so sad because the man they both loved was helpless in the faraway city.

Diandra broke her embrace, she looked at Mommy Isabel so intensely. Removing the remains of Mommy Isabel's tears wetting her cheeks.

"When can we go see Anggara, Mom?."

Mommy Isabel shook her head and lowered her head.

"What else is it, Mom?." Diandra gently touches Mommy Isabel's shoulder. Hoping nothing happened was more than hearing Anggara's leg have to be amputated.

"Wily and Lydia are suing for damages for Regina's death and they're going to report Anggara if we don't meet her demands immediately. So in the meantime we're not allowed to visit Anggara before we do a deal with them."

"Anything I'll give to my husband, Mom. Even my life I will give up. As long as Anggara stays fine."
