This afternoon Darren came home with a feeling of pleasure. Twenty minutes before, he drove Erina to the boarding house. He was happy because the woman finally returned to work at his company.

The man was about to walk up the stairs to get to his room, but he heard the sound of someone talking in the family room. Curious, he went there.

"Pa, mama doesn't want Darren close to papa's preferred secretary, pa. Mama just wants Darren back with Keylin" said the woman firmly.

"Mama, we can't manage someone's life including our son, ma. How many times have you said that word to Mama? Mama didn't talk to Keylin anyway? And Keylin doesn't want to go back to Darren" said the man she was talking to.

Darren was stunned for a moment to hear his papa's sentence just now.

"So Keylin refused my mother's request? Good then," her inner self.

Now he already knew Keylin's answer to his mother's request as told by Erina earlier. Before they knew his whereabouts, he went from there to the room.

"But Keylin confesses that he is still in love and affection with Darren, pa. That means there is still a chance for them to be together. We need to talk to Darren, pa."

"Already, ma. Don't set Darren or Keylin's life. Keylin already has a new life, Darren too. As parents, we should support whatever our children decide."

The Duke stood up and moved from there. Leaving his wife upset because he did not want to help her to persuade Darren to want to be with Keylin again.

While in Darren's room. The man laid his body on the bed in a supine position. Staring at the empty ceiling with a smile on his lips.

His heart is in flowers. Apparently he is really in love with the woman who is currently his secretary. Erina, the only secretary who managed to bind her heart. Not just interested in having sex, but interested in having more relationships.

He reached for a flat object behind his suit pocket called navy, then he dialed someone's number there. Unfortunately, he didn't get an answer from his phone call just now.

Five minutes he had been waiting for the two gray ticks to turn blue. But it hasn't changed color either.

Darren got up and sat down and exhaled a bit harshly. Because someone did not open the message, let alone reply to it.

"Erina where, huh?" thought.

"Did he deliberately not answer the phone and not reply to my chat?"

"Is he sleeping?"

"Or is he taking a shower?"

Darren tried to guess what Erina was doing there until he could not answer or reply to a chat from her.

The man decided to take a shower. He flushed his body with cold water. Hopefully with that it doesn't keep on thinking about Erina. But he hopes also after taking a shower later Erina replied to a chat from him.
