Chapter 205: Return

The same afternoon, the magical ship Liselotte landed in the capital of Galarc. He then boarded a carriage with Roana up to the Royal Palace. She and Roana walk through the Castle until where Hiroaki is waiting, around them the servants and servants start gossiping about Liselotte who might marry Hiroaki. Liselotte cursed them in her head because it made the atmosphere where rejecting Hiroaki feel even more difficult. They then arrived at the living room. Hiroaki is inside with Rosalie, Francois and his wife, Hugenot and Liselotte's parents. Looking at everyone, Liselotte wondered if the marriage interview would be conducted there. Roana and Hugenot stood behind the sofa where Hiroaki was sitting with Rosalie. Liselotte was sitting on the sofa in front of them beside Francois, who apologized for making her come from Amande. But Liselotte said that there was no need to apologize for rarely meeting her parents who were looking at her with troubled faces. Francis then announced the marriage interview with Hiroaki as the only thing that needs to be discussed and he will only be an observer. Then he asked Liselotte what she wanted to do now. If she wanted to talk about her marriage now or if she had other affairs, but Liselotte wanted to continue the interview as it is. That he came to the Palace because he already had an answer. Francis then asked Liselotte and Hiroaki if they wanted to talk there with everyone or if they would rather talk alone in the garden next to the living room and Hiroaki asked Liselotte to talk with them too and they leave.

Hiroaki was walking alone with Liselotte behind him, the two slightly commented on the look of the castle garden. Hiroaki is nervous about being alone with Liselotte. He thought that it was time for him to become even more nervous since the summoning. Hiroaki then recalled his conversation with Hugenot about wanting Liselotte as his wife. She is happy with how fast she works, she praises Hugenot in her head for arranging meetings even though Liselotte always refuses to go to marriage interviews on the grounds of her years of work. But he was frustrated at not being able to use Hugenot to make Liselotte accept him because she didn't want to have to confess. He tried to think of something to talk about with Liselotte but nothing came to his mind. Now he wondered why Liselotte did not offer such a conversation topic as usual. He wondered if he was nervous too. He thought that he should have a chance if it were like that, as Hugenot said: That from now on depends on how he raises the topic of marriage.

Hiroaki looked at Liselotte from behind his shoulder and thought that she was very cute and she really wanted to marry him. Hiroaki then apologizes to Liselotte for suddenly calling her to the marriage interview. He says that Hugenot told him that she needed him to marry her. Thinking that if she made it look as if she didn't really want to marry Liselotte, she would benefit in the conversation. Liselotte realized that she was shocked and tried to ascertain if Hugenot was really the mastermind behind it all. Hiroaki confirmed it again: He told Liselotte that he did not speak as much as usual and asked if she was nervous. Liselotte said that maybe it is. Hiroaki starts laughing happily in his head convinced that his nervousness comes from him liking her and that he is really in love with her.

Hiroaki said that they never had the chance to talk with just the two. Liselotte agreed and recalled the food with Flora and Roana and said that she was very sorry for Flora. Liselotte asked Hiroaki what she would do if Flora appeared after the announcement of her engagement to Rosalie. Hiroaki says that not marrying Rosalie, Liselotte warns him that canceling the engagement is not easy. Hiroaki says that he will make Flora his fourth wife. Liselotte said that having Roana, a duchess daughter above Flora a princess would be complicated or even impossible. Hiroaki said that those numbers meant nothing to him. If it is really impossible to change the rankings, Liselotte said that the families involved should reach an agreement. He then asked if he should change also the rank of his third wife. If it would be troublesome to make her the fourth wife, Liselotte said that perhaps, Hiroaki then decided to confirm to Liselotte that the lower number meant nothing to her Liselotte was inferior to Roana or Rosalie. Liselotte thanked him for his words but Hiroaki was dissatisfied with how Liselotte still called him the Hero. Liselotte then asked if something happened.

Hiroaki asks Liselotte if they can already get ahead of their business relationship. Liselotte did not understand what he meant. Hiroaki said that he never saw how Liselotte personally was. He asks if it is like that, because he remembers Hiroaki visiting Amande regularly without any business. He then talked about how he never called her by her name, that he always called her just a Hero. That he treated all their meetings up until now as work and not entertainment. Liselotte was a little impressed on Hiroaki after noticing it. He later said that he respected Liselotte's professionalism but asked her until when she intended to treat her only in Heroes. Even more so if they were engaged, she told him to try calling her name. Liselotte asked if it was okay to consider that as a proposal. She said that no, Liselotte replied in her head then what was it. He wondered if he was suddenly scared. She said that until now Liselotte was using her job as an excuse to avoid engagement and she asked if there were any men hanging out with her outside of work. He's nodding. Hiroaki says that marriage is not a business, that he wants to be someone who is familiar with Liselotte not because of her job. That's because that's what it means to graduate from their business relationship. Liselotte asked if she meant to hang out like an engaged person. He later said that if Liselotte can't get married because of her job. She was fine with getting engaged and married when she decided, that it was her decision.

The two entered the room and said that the marriage interview failed. Then the atmosphere becomes awkward, because there is no reciprocal feeling then there will be no engagement. Francis then said that if it failed, then finish it and end the reunion. Hugenot then exits the room with Hiroaki and Roana. Francis ordered Rosalie to return to her room. Francis stayed in the room with his wife, Liselotte's parents, and Liselotte herself. A secret door in the room opened and Satsuki and Charlotte walked out from there. Francis then said to join the others to talk to everyone and ordered the servants and guards to come out as well.

Liselotte was wondering about what they were going to talk about now. Satsuki told Liselotte that she had not seen her since their promise to eat together. Charlotte sulks because she wants to leave too. As the two sat down, Liselotte apologized to Francois for the possible problems she might have caused for rejecting Hiroaki. Francis told him not to take issue with him because he had the right to choose his partner correctly. He apologized for bothering him about having to come to the Castle because it was difficult to reject the Restoration proposal due to the hardships they had endured. Charlotte tells Satsuki that their worries are over. Liselotte asked what they meant and Charlotte explained that they were worried that she was forced to marry Hiroaki without loving him. Liselotte thank you their feelings are a little reddish. Then Satsuki says that if Hiroaki tries to force her to marry him, she will not stop until it destroys her with the influence of her Hero. Liselotte chuckled and said that it would be a very troublesome situation.

Charlotte tells Liselotte that she is old enough to get married and asks how long she will remain uninvolved so she is already involved in this kind of matter and all. Satsuki then said that a man of Liselotte level would not appear so easily. Liselotte complained a little embarrassed for not being like that either. Before seeing Liselotte acting feminine, her parents decided to join in flirting. His mother said that if it was about an attractive man, then that comes to mind. But before he could tell who the man was, a soldier knocked on the door loudly shouting that there were urgent reports. Francis told him to come in and ask what he was talking about. The soldier said almost without breath as it ran that Rio had just arrived at the Castle. That he requested an urgent audience with the King. Francis said that if it was Rio, it was okay. That he should take her to the room. Then asked the soldier why he was in such a hurry. He said that Rio's friend Francis asked what about his friends and the soldier said that Rio brought Christina and Flora with him. Then Francis and the others in the room were shocked.
