CHAPTER 01. Returnees

Eve must return to country K after being evicted by her extended family 8 years ago due to an accident that befell the Adwitiya family who claimed the lives of Fahim Adwitiya and his wife Anna Bagaswara due to a car accident.

Eve, then 17, had to return to be an orphan when both of her adoptive parents died to pick Eve up to school after Eve finished her graduation papers.

Adwitiya's extended family who did not like the existence of Eve who was raised by Fahim Adwitiya and Anna Bagaswara as their children increasingly became to treat Eve by driving her from home and sending Eve to college overseas so that Eve does not take the inheritance rights that Fahim and Anna give to Eve their adopted son.

For 8 years Eve lived in the country L alone without any relatives or relatives during her studies and completed her education until she held a degree as a surgeon. Not even once Adwitiya family called himself to just ask the news or come to the Eve graduate event. Fortunately Eve received a full scholarship on the intelligence she had and the legacy of Fahim and Anna for Eve which was unknown to the Adwitiya extended family until Eve did not experience economic difficulties during her studies at the university country L to meet its daily needs.

“Welcome back Elakshi Feshika Adwitiya.” Said Eve to herself, her footsteps walked and pushed the trolley on which there were two suitcases of hers did not forget also the backpack she was carrying she placed on top of the trolley basket.

Look around the airport to see who will pick himself up to the airport whether it is his uncle and aunt. His head was looking for someone who wrote his name. Smiling as she looked at the inscription, Eve approached a man holding a banner in his name.

“I Eve.” Sapa Eve was full of excitement as she opened her glasses to show that this was her true self. The man was stunned and put on his flat face as he looked at the feisty Eve and her sparkling eyes. Looks like Eve's appearance is very mature and elegant beautiful face and smooth white skin with red pomegranate lips continue to emit a smile that does not forget with dimples that add to the impression of a sweet Eve. “You should not return to this country.” Said the man who was none other than the son of his uncle and aunt Gulzar Adwitiya coldly it made Eve's smile fade but it did not make Eve's spirit extinguished because soon he will soon meet with his aunt and uncle.

“Is Brother Zee married?” Eve asked enthusiastically to fill the silence created. He knew his cousin Gulzar who was older than him 1 year was not much talk and cold including to him. But Gulzar never treated him badly even though the words he made were very cold and spicy it was common for Eve.

Gulzar did not answer Eve's question he just focused on driving. Eve who did not get a response from Gulzar advancing her lips it could Gulzar see from the tail of his eyes. “Still as it used to be.” Grouse Eve.

“Alright bring Eve to the mansion soon the Werawan family has come to the house. Careful dear mother loves you.” Gulzar's mother was none other than Eve's foster father-in-law.

After the phone connection was cut off, Gulzar stepped on the pedal firmly and the steering wheel of the car firmly making Eve who was sitting next to him feel shocked and frightened. “Kak Zee, slowly bring the car I'm afraid.” Screech Eve to make Gulzar aware of what he is doing.

“Do not want, this is not my fault.” Gulzar said flatly while pushing his car back which had stopped due to his sudden braking action to make Eve's eel reddened and slightly bumped.

The car that Gulzar drove finally entered the gate of the Adwitiya family house, “ I finally returned.” Eve said with her smile that made Gulzar not look at all with Eve who felt very happy.

“It turns out a lot has changed, I miss my room so much.” Reve told Eve with sparkling eyes while standing next to the car while Gulzar lowered both of Eve's suitcases and gave Eve's backpack roughly enough to make her flinch a little because of Gulzar's actions.

Eve immediately set foot to enter the house leaving Gulzar dragging his two suitcases. Actually there was a waiter who wanted to help to bring both suitcases belonging to Eve but it was prevented by Gulzar because he could still be alone.

“Thanks bi Jum.” Said Eve kindly while giving her sweet smile. While Gulzar only looked flat with Eve who did not escape giving her smile from earlier.

Eve walked into the house her legs came to a halt when she saw her uncle and aunt who saw her already here smiling with relief. “Uncle aunty.” Call Eve with her smile when she sees her uncle and aunt smiling at her.

Bi Jum who saw it looked with sadness at Eve who had to return to be a puppet of her two masters called Eve uncle and aunt. Aunt Jum understood that the smile published by the Master and Madam was just a smile full of compulsion and relief because everything would go smoothly if Eve was here now.

“Sweetie you've come home.” His mother Gulzar

Gulzar clenched both hands while looking at the scene that was very disgusting to him. Eve realized that not only her uncle and aunt in the living room there was a guest turned out to be a pair of middle-aged couples and a very beautiful and elegant woman gave a smile to her.

“Meet me Elakshi Feshika Adwitiya. Om and aunty can call me Eve.” Eve softly introduced herself to the pair of middle-aged couples and the woman beside her. But Eve's eyes caught an empty chair next to the woman but Eve ignored her.

Gulzar leaves Eve alone in her room, which is still busy with her cries, and immediately locks the door of Eve's room from outside.

“Mother, father.” Eve cried bitterly while slapping her head between her knees when she remembered that she would be married to an unknown person and be used as a tool for the business of the Adwitiya family.

Since the return of guests who came to the Adwitiya family residence. Uncle and Aunt Eve did not come to Eve's room because they felt lazy to deal with the children like Eve. Want or not want Eve must accept this marriage they will force Eve later because there is no choice for Eve. Eve should be grateful for going into the family of rich and famous number 1 in the country K even though the man who will marry Eve already married uncle and aunt Eve will not care about the important adwitiya company is not bankrupt.
