CHAPTERS 16. Grandpa Werawan Come to See

After he finished talking to his only child Nabastala Dhara's mother immediately wiped his tears and entered Eve's room again. Sighing his breath longly as he stared at Eve who was just silent while lying down staring out the window.

In Eve's room there is only Dhara and Eve's mother alone while Davka's father returns to Werawan's grandfather's mansion after getting a phone call from Werawan's grandfather related to the incident that happened to his daughter-in-law's grandson.

Dhara's mother walked over to Eve and picked up the food porridge that Eve had not touched at all. “Honey come on you have to eat. At least to strengthen yourself do not let you get sick.” Persuade Dhara's mother to Eve.

“I'm sorry mom and dad for not paying your attention, sorry mom and dad made you this way. Don't be like this you have to eat. I know it is not easy because I also have felt it.” Mother's sobs made Eve stare at Dhara's mother.

Dhara's mother who saw the response from Eve gave a soothing smile while Eve's tears continued to grow. “Daughter don't be like this, sick mother saw it. Mom doesn't want to lose for a second time.”

Dhara's mother hugged Eve and stroked her hair, “mother doesn't want to lose you both. You and Adya are very precious to me. Having a daughter-in-law like you makes mom very happy because mom is not alone in the mansion.”

“You should eat yes, look at this face now it's tapered and these pretty eyes are less shining. At least you need energy to cry. Cry and grieve as much but after that I want to see these eyes again sparkle with cheer and this mouth again smiles. And pour what's in this heart to mom.”

“Mom doesn't think of you as a daughter-in-law but I think of you as a mother's daughter. Mother's biological daughter. Anyone who hurts you, including your own mother's son, says you'll help. Won't you let this beautiful mother's daughter let out her tears of pain and sadness.”

Eve cries sobbing getting sincere attention from Dhara's mother. It was never imagined for Eve that she had gotten such a good in-law. It would be a lie if Eve said that she could no longer afford this marriage.

However, Eve wants to be even stronger and wants to feel more attention from Dhara's mother, Davka's father, and Adya to herself. It did not matter if her husband Nabastala was being indifferent to her most importantly for two years before the agreement ended she wanted to be greedy to once again get the attention that might never come a second time.

“You want to eat baby, bribe mom yes.” Persuade Dhara's mother again for not wanting to see Dhara's mother who has shown attention to her finally Eve nodded even though she really did not want to.

Dhara's mother smiled at him and immediately wiped away the tears that had fallen on Eve's cheek and took out a bowl of cold porridge. “It's okay if it's cold or Eve want to change?” Ask Dhara's mother gently.

Eve nods her head and cries getting the sincerity of a middle-aged woman who becomes her in-law. “You know I'm so happy and happy to have a daughter-in-law like you and Adya. You are the same for mom and dad. Whoever hurts you mom and dad will protect you and they won't dare.”

“When you are sad and sick you also feel the same. Although there is no blood bond between us but I feel lucky to have you. You are a gift loved by God to fill the days of mother and father.”

At Werawan's grandfather's residence Davka's father came to give him information about Eve's condition. “Why brother Davka comes to this afternoon-afternoon mansion like never before.” Said the younger brother of Davka's father who was none other than Nabastala's uncle.

“Dad.” Call Davka's father to Werawan's grandfather who is sitting in his chair while staring out the window.

Davka's father came closer while helping Werawan's grandfather to get up from his chair to get together to talk about this matter on the sofa of the study. “Have you locked the door properly?” Ask Werawan's grandfather and get a nod of the head from Davka's father.

“Check in advance the whole room.” Werawan's grandfather orders and soon Davka's father takes something in the safe that only Werawan's grandfather and Davka's father can open.

For almost fifteen minutes there was only silence, “all of them have been sterile father.” Said Davka's father and immediately put the item used to sterilize the room into the safe and locked it.

“How's Eve's daughter-in-law doing?” Werawan's grandfather asked directly Davka's father who heard him sigh long.

“Indeed there is a mother who does not feel hit by the fact that she has lost a baby in her womb.” Say Davka's father and remember how his wife used to need a very big struggle to get back up until they got Nabastala.

Not to mention after several years of getting Nabastala his wife had to miscarry again in the form of a child of the female sex who always wanted to be awaited by him with his wife, including Werawan's grandfather.

It was a dark situation for Davka's father and Dhara's mother in undergoing a marriage mahligai especially the mother's womb Dhara had to be removed because of the miscarriage. Luckily, there was a little Nabastala who became a spirit for his wife and himself.

“Is it that easy the security of your mansion that for the third time must experience something like this.” Werawan's grandfather's words made Davka's father can only shut up and listen.

“Dad already said that you should really take care of the daughter of someone else who will be your daughter-in-law. Because to enter the Werawan family is not easy. No need to explain anymore is not how the grandson-in-law Eve.”

“Dad chose it and you agreed. We all agreed to marry her to Nabastala. Although the child is very stubborn if Nabastala continues this way then someday we can not defend it. He is well suited to enter into the Werawan family with his humility.”

“Quickly find out the process why you are so negligent to look after the granddaughter-in-law Eve. Don't let Nabastala make the move first. Although he looks cute and cold but his movements are very deadly. Although he was still stubborn to Eve, he would do whatever anyone would dare to harass her. The child cannot be provoked. Quickly immediately do and take action otherwise it will be very dangerous because Nabastala will not hesitate to do things that are beyond human limits.” Davka's father just nodded and agreed to the orders of Werawan's grandfather.

“Tomorrow dads will come to see granddaughter-in-law.” Werawan's grandfather said before Davka's father resigned from Werawan's grandfather's office.

Tala walked with firm footsteps towards Adya's room but before that Tala saw the room next to Adya where Eve's room was.

It is seen that Eve and her mother are hugging Eve who is crying and her mother who is trying to calm Eve. Tala who saw him was staring flatly with his sharp gaze and clenched both his hands on the left and right side.

Inside the room Eve looked towards the door through the glass Eve could see that Tala was looking inside the room more precisely towards her. Eve had high hopes that Tala would come in to see her and ask her how she was doing.

However, it was all gone when Tala left immediately when her eyes met her. Eve bites her deep lips and tightens her arms to Dhara's mother while shedding her tears.

The eyes of Tala who met Eve for a while immediately diverted her and continued her intention to meet her first wife because no one was guarding.

Adya heard the door open but Adya did not touch her because Adya already knew for sure it was her husband Nabastala Affandra Werawan.

No one spoke between the two, so there was silence between them. Tala's eyes saw that the food prepared by her had not been touched at all since she had gone to temper her emotions.

Sighs deeply and walks closer to Adya. “What do you want?” Ask Tala gently. Tala could not let Adya go on hunger strike just because her stubborn self was unwilling to visit Eve.

Adya who was asked like that just kept quiet and closed her eyes. “I know that brother is not sleeping, what should I do to make brother eat his food. Don't make my brother sick and my hatred for him will increase. Brother's condition is unstable.” Tala said while holding back her emotions but trying to speak as gently as possible.

“Are you going to grant it?” Tanya Adya looked towards Tala's eyes which were looking towards her.

“I want my space and Eve to be one.” Pinta Adya to Tala. “Isn't it easy to obey it not.” Adya again.

Tala let out a long sigh hearing Adya's request, “ alright I will grant it but not now the day after. Because it takes time. Now brother should eat.”

Adya also rose and there was not much protest at least Tala granted her request so that she could be one room with Eve. Adya wants to be next to Eve when she feels sad just as Eve is always there for her to give her encouragement every day when they are far away.

Tala who saw Adya instantly obeyed him easily when her request was granted for a single space with Eve only silent. “Why everyone thinks he is an important person.” Tala said in her mind.

Tala was feeding Adya for a mouthful. “Is he so valuable from your health?” Tanya Tala without any emotional tone in it was very flat.

Adya stops chewing after previously swallowing first. “Yes he is very valuable to me. Whoever hurts her then she has to face me first because I am her brother.”

“Including you if you hurt him then I will do as I want as you like to do what you want to him.”

Tala smiled smirkingly hearing the answer from Adya. “She has no right to get your affection. Remember because of him you became like this.”

“Stop to blame Eve this is not her fault because this is my stupid mistake. The proof is that he was not so easily fooled by the man.” Tepis Adya firmly.

“She just thirsts for the attention she doesn't get.” Furthermore Adya again made Tala just silent and did not want to listen to him because according to Tala the wrong of all this is Eve.

Adya looked at Tala who was just silently bribing her. “Can you be gentle with him and not stubborn.” Adya said and stopped the movement of Tala's hand that was about to bribe her.

“We've talked about this before. Don't talk too much you should eat.” immediately Tala said without answering any questions asked by Adya.

The next day, Werawan's grandfather came to the hospital to visit his son-in-law's grandson who was both sick. But, before coming to Eve's room Werawan's grandfather came to Adya's room first to talk to her grandson.

Tala who just came out of the bathroom saw her grandfather who was casually sitting on the sofa immediately approached and greeted his grandfather and sat down next to him.

Werawan's grandfather who was having a casual conversation with Adya came to a halt when Tala who took his hand to kiss him as usual. “What made grandfather come here. Shouldn't grandfather need to come remember grandfather's health do not let grandfather tired.” Tala.

Grandfather Werawan just nodded and laughed at the tone of attention this beloved grandson gave. “Of course, grandfather must come to visit the two grandchildren of grandfather's son-in-law is sick especially grandfather has just lost the great-grandfather who has been waiting for.” Said Grandpa Werawan while patting Tala on the back. “And grandfather will not be easily tired just because he visited the grandson-in-law.”

Adya just kept quiet and watched as she looked at the grandfather and grandson from her bed. “After all there is someone you want to talk to you about.” Said Grandpa Werawan, “having two wives is not easy and sorry if you feel very burdened with it. You know is the reason why your grandfather and mother and father and also your wife who asked you to marry her you should remember without you needing to know the reason.”

“Which is clear she is a good woman and can give happiness. Not that Adya isn't. Everything we do for you is for your happiness. There is no way we want to plunge you into the bad you know not that you are grandfather's favorite grandson.”

“Grandpa here would like to ask you to provide strict guard and increase the care for your two wives, especially Eve.” After saying that Werawan's grandfather immediately got up from his seat.

“Grandpa wants to meet and see Eve's daughter-in-law's granddaughter. You should visit him too and pay attention to him.” Said grandpa Werawan. Tala just kept quiet and listened.

Adya who was in bed was helped by Werawan's grandfather's bodyguard to sit on a wheelchair but Tala prevented it and ordered not to do it and just let him.

Grandpa Werawan looked smilingly at his grandson. Then walk first to Eve's room.

In the room Eve now Eve looks very neat even though using her patient clothes does not reduce Eve's beauty. Dhara's mother, who knew that her in-laws would be coming, tidied up Eve by combing her hair.

“Children's daughter-in-law.” Werawan's grandfather said when he entered Eve's room. While Eve who saw him looked at Grandpa Werawan with question marks. “Don't put on a face like that grandpa knows that grandpa is very handsome.” Grandpa Werawan said with a chuckle.

Eve who had been silent had her eyes rounded as she reminded something. Grandpa Werawan hugged Eve and said something to Eve. “However you still remember grandpa.”

Eve's eyes glazed over to see Werawan's grandfather who had met for the first time since he got married and became part of the Werawan family. “You need to be strong, you remind me the first time you meet your grandfather will help you if you feel the difficulty. Even if grandfather's favorite grandson hurts you.” Whisper Grandpa Werawan who still hugs Eve.

Then Grandpa Werawan let go of his embrace. “Don't cry again after today you have to get up. The flowers will return after the fall. Grandpa will always be by your side.” Werawan's grandfather said then hugged Eve again and whispered. “If you can not stand it you can ask for help to grandfather then grandfather will grant it.”

Eve tears her eyes get unexpected attention from Werawan's grandfather who had never met since he became a son-in-law.

Eve thought that Werawan's grandfather did not want to see her because she was the second wife of his granddaughter. But it turns out he was wrong and Eve now understands why Werawan's new grandfather is now showing himself. It's just him and Werawan's grandfather who knows.

While Adya and Tala who entered Eve's room just stared at the bed how Werawan and Eve's grandfather were talking.

Adya is very happy to see that Werawan's grandfather is so very dear to Eve not only to him. Dhara's mother and Davka's father were also very happy.

After receiving a visit from Werawan's grandfather Eve showed his original change Eve had to be treated for one week to five days and it made Adya, Dhara's mother and Davka's father feel very happy to see him.

Especially during the hospital Adya and Eve one room makes Adya who likes to talk continue to invite Eve to talk and tell a funny thing to Eve to entertain Eve.

Today is the day Eve is allowed to go home as well as Adya. Actually Adya was allowed to go home by a doctor three days ago but Adya wants to continue with Eve and still want to be treated.

No one could refuse the request from the Werawan family's son-in-law including Tala. “I'm glad that we've returned home to mansion.” Adya said with her happy face. Eve nodded her head and smiled hearing that.

“We will spend time together and I during the hospital a lot of watching cooking shows and I have downloaded.” Tala just silently listened to the conversation between the two wives. During the course of the chat was dominated by Adya while Eve just kept quiet and say nothing.

But, for Adya it was not at all an important matter that she could chat comfortably and Eve could show her reaction and expression. Adya knows that it is not so easy to get through it but Adya wants to be a good sister for Eve before she no longer exists in this world.
