CHAPTERS 18. Step by Step

After breakfast Eve immediately went to the hospital on the way to the endless face Eve smiled. It also adds to the atmosphere in the car brighter. Eve's driver and bodyguard who were staring that their young Miss had returned also smiled happily.

Although they did not know that the smile shown by the young Miss was fake to cover her empty heart or not but they were very happy that at least their young Miss was starting to get back up.

Eve looked down at the street around her and enjoyed the atmosphere outside after a month of not leaving the house. “Nona do Miss want to stop somewhere to buy something?” Ask the driver to Eve.

Eve smiled before answering. “No thanks sir we go directly to the hospital only.” Eve answered and the driver nodded his head at Eve's request.

Without Eve knowing that the bodyguards assigned to guard her are increasing in number outside only Eve does not know that her bodyguards are increasing which Eve knows that she only has five bodyguards who will escort her to wherever he goes.

The bodyguard that Tala intentionally added on orders from Werawan's grandfather to Eve increased to five times. However, Tala gave the order not to be visible and wear like an ordinary person.

Doctor Raka who was walking in the lobby and was about to go home from night shift until the morning was surprised to see that the woman who made him fall in love was in the hospital with her doctor clothes.

Doctor Raka came closer towards Eve who was greeting everyone. “Good morning doctor Elakshi.” Sapa doctor Raka stopped Eve's footsteps who were about to go to her room.

Eve gave her smile and it made doctor Raka also smile because it was very rare Eve gave her smile to herself. “It's nice to see doctor Elakshi back at work. Many patients are asking and longing for the whereabouts of doctor Elakshi.” Doctor Raka. “Include me.” Doctor Raka continued in his heart.

“True.” Said Eve sparkling. “I'm also very happy that I've been working again and I miss my patients so much.” Reve said with a sparkling face, Doctor Raka was more fascinated to see the smiling face.

“Does doctor Raka get a night shift and want to go home?” Eve asked who saw Raka's doctor carrying her briefcase and draping her coat on her arm. Doctor Raka could not dodge because indeed the direction was out and he had carrying a bag.

If he knows that Eve will work today he must prepare himself and not want to go first because it is finished with his night shift. “Iya doctor Elakshi.” Doctor Raka answered while holding her back hair and smiling clumsily.

“Then rest safe doctor Raka. I'm welcome to my room.” Said Eve and then walked her feet cheerfully.

Doctor Raka looks at Eve's back until Eve disappears behind the hallway leading to her work and rest room.

“Sadarlah Raka she is married and it looks like her relationship with her husband is getting better.” Doctor Raka muttered while realizing that the woman who made him fall in love was married.

“Did doctor Raka like doctor Elakshi.” Ask the nurse who had seen the interaction between doctors Raka and Eve.

“Seems like yes. Who doesn't like Elakshi's doctor. Like doctor Elakshi is a complete package already beautiful, kind, humble, friendly very beautiful character according to his face.” Timpal's another nurse.

Inside her study Eve held her chest and exhaled her breath in relief. “You can Eve, step by step.” Eve said to herself.

Elsewhere in Tala's study, Tala sees a picture of her men showing her where it is seen that Eve graciously greets her peers and patients.

Tala deliberately told her bodyguards every day to provide information about what Eve did, especially when the woman was in danger as ordered by Werawan's grandfather.

Tala did not want to be cheated a second time and did not want to be reprimanded by Werawan's grandfather for his inaccuracy. In addition, Tala does so that she and Adya do not quarrel and argue about her indifference to Eve.

If Adya protests and starts her quarrel Tala will show the photos sent by her bodyguards. According to Tala, this was more than enough that Eve got for her attention.

Tala did not want to make Eve big head that she had been soft and thought that she had started to open her heart again. Forever will not be what Tala will immerse in his mind and subconscious.

Can Tala see Eve who looks happy to talk to a doctor who Tala does not know and does not know who but to avoid something unwanted Tala ordered her bodyguards to immediately find information about the doctor who spoke to Eve.

Day after day Eve went through and worked as a doctor in general doing surgery and it was a pleasure that Eve longed for one day.

“Do you want lunch?” Ask Raka's doctor who saw Eve come out of her operating room. The two of them have spoken out in a relaxed manner. “In the canteen there is your favorite menu I see.”

“True, then let's have lunch anyway my stomach has been ringing since you said that my favorite menu is in the canteen.” Eve said excitedly and it made the two laugh together.

“Then I wait in front of your room.” Said Dr. Raka because she must know that Eve will change her surgical clothes with the smell she wears from home.

Doctor Raka plays her phone while smilingly staring at the portrait inside her cell phone gallery until she is unaware of Eve's presence coming out of her room. “It looks like it is a special person to the point of making you smile so brightly while looking at him.” Say Eve.

“You surprised me.” Said doctor Raka who immediately turned off her phone and smiled clumsily.

“Is she so beautiful that it makes the doctor Raka who is admired by these sisters smile with her width.” Tempta Eve made Doctor Raka's ears flushed with it.

“See your ears are flushed, surely you are very ashamed iyakan.” Said Eve while showing her nosy face to doctor Raka.

“It turns out you really like to prank people.” Doctor Raka made the two laugh together during a trip to the cafeteria.

Tala and Adya arrive at the hospital due to do a routine checkup that must be done by Adya and today is his routine schedule.

Tala pushed Adya's wheelchair and walked in the hospital lobby. All eyes looked when they saw Tala who was always pushing Adya. Nurses and doctors used to see a faithful man pushing a woman's wheelchair.

“Can we go home to Eve's room I miss her so much.” Pinta Adya and is immediately taken in by Tala.

Then their eyes looked towards the front where Eve was chatting comfortably with a man. Even the two of them laughed without paying attention to everyone staring at them with different looks including Tala and Adya.

“It looks like Eve found a friend in the hospital. Good thing, the doctor made Eve smile. It turns out that all this time I was too worried that Eve just pretended to be cheerful it was not.”

“I'm glad that the doctor gave a smile to Eve. Right no?” Adya asked and looked up to see Tala's face that was just silent and looked at the departure of Eve and the doctor she knew named Caraka Arkatama.

Adya smiled at Tala who was speechless when she saw the scene of how Eve laughed with the doctor. “They look very suitable and harmonious. Looks like I should get acquainted with that doctor who has given a bright smile to Eve.” In her heart Eve laughed happily at Tala's face.

Tala who heard Adya continued to praise the doctor did not pester her and still looked towards Eve and doctor Raka who had disappeared from her sight. “Ekhm, Eve already left whether we are so to the examination room.” Adya.

Tala who regained consciousness pushed back Adya's wheelchair, “I think the doctor who was with Eve was very handsome seemed very good and fell in love with Eve.” Adya's voice is heating up Tala.

Tala just kept quiet and her mind floated looking at the interaction between Eve and doctor Raka. “Didn't you ever show me that picture of Eve and the doctor before. Do you know the name of the doctor, you know.” Adya.

“For what you need to know the name of the doctor.” Tala said with her flat face, hearing that made Adya not stop to stumble at her smile. Now he knows how to heat Tala who has a very high prestige.

“I just want to know him more let alone his face so handsome and thank the handsome doctor for making my Eve smile.” Adya.

Tala felt very upset to hear Adya who continued to talk about Raka's doctor and the interaction of the two. “Do not see people from the cover. Enough you only focus on your recovery.”

Adya unceasingly smiled as she looked at Tala's face which was very upset because of her.

Inside Eve's canteen and Raka's doctor eat in one table. They enjoyed their meal while having a casual conversation.

From the front door of the canteen was a pair of eyes staring at the two. Eve laughs and meets a pair of sharp eyes in front of the canteen door that stare at her and doctor Raka.

Tala who was told by Adya to buy drinks and snacks immediately went to the cafeteria. Adya did deliberately do that because she wanted to heat Tala to see the closeness of Eve and doctor Raka.

Tala walked to the food and drink rack and then to the cashier regardless of Eve's gaze looking at her.

While Raka's doctor continued to speak and Eve only smiled listening to him and occasionally Eve's attention was divided to see her husband who did not come to greet her at all.

Sighing his breath long made the doctor Raka stop talking. “Why are you tired of hearing my story?” Ask the doctor Raka who saw Eve sigh so loudly.

“It's not just that I'm full because this food is very good and this is my favorite food.” Eve chuckled and it made the doctor laugh to see her.

Tala immediately leaves the canteen without looking at Eve and doctor Raka again who is cool with her own world.

“Are you done?” Ask Eve to Raka's doctor. Doctor Raka nodded and answered yes to Eve. “Then let's go back to the room to rest in each room.” Said Eve who was in a hurry.

“Do you have a job?” Ask doctor Raka.

“It's not just that I forgot that today there is a routine check up for Adya sis at this time.” Eve answered honestly, though not completely. Because Eve actually felt uncomfortable seeing Tala's gaze that drew sharp to her.

Eve feels that she has just been caught cheating by a husband who doesn't love her. “Alright then.” Doctor Raka said.

Doctors Raka and Eve separated while they were in front of their respective rooms. Eve who had just entered her room immediately went out and headed to the room where Adya used to do her checks.

Outside the room Adya saw that her husband was sitting in the waiting room like never before. “Why is Tala not in?” Eve muttered from afar.

Eve immediately walked closer to her husband. “Is sister Tala not feeling well?” Eve asked Tala who saw Tala looking very tired by leaning her head up while twitching her forehead.

Tala who heard the voice of the smiling woman brightly in the cafeteria was staring sharply at Eve. “I've told you that you must keep your behavior remember that you are the daughter-in-law of the Werawan family do not make my surname bad in the eyes of others.” Tala said sharply and then immediately entered the Adya examination room.

Eve was silent to the scathing words of her husband that she had not heard for a long time and today she heard again. He lowered his head and tried to strengthen his heart.

Eve knocks on the door and enters to see Adya's progress. “How's Adya's sister doctor?” Eve asked curiously after the doctor did an examination to Adya.

The doctor looked at Adya and smiled. “So far it has improved if Miss Adya does her regular checks well.” The doctor answered Eve and Tala.

Eve who heard him breathed a sigh of relief and clasped Adya's hand. “Sister can recover brother should be spirit.” Eve said to Adya and the two smiled.

“You should also be upbeat.” Reply Adya who gives encouragement to Eve.

“I'm glad to see you're happy Eve hope this smile doesn't disappear and you're happy always.” Adya said in her heart. “I'm sorry for lying to you, father, mother, and Tala. Lord please protect my loved ones and give them strength.”
