CHAPTER 19. Getting Farther and Closer

Eve escorts Adya and Tala to the hospital lobby. Adya is very happy because at least today Adya can see something sweet even though she was outrageous because it heated her husband's heart and mind because it saw the interaction between Eve and the doctor who still did not know greet name.

“Eve can I ask?” Adya's question made Eve immediately crouch in front of Adya and it made Adya very happy. Eve's attitude was very polite and sweet when Eve squatted in front of her to pay attention to the height between the two because of her who was sitting in a wheelchair.

“Kakak want to ask what, just ask.” Eve replied, Adya looked towards Tala who was only silent from earlier. Indeed, if there was Eve Tala would be a quiet and cold person.

“Tadi, I saw you talking to a male doctor as I walked in the lobby around lunch time. You look so happy and I want to know the doctor who makes you laugh that happy who knows we can be friends.” Adya.

Eve who heard him was shocked and glanced towards Tala who showed no reaction and his flat facial expression. “Ouw it's doctor Raka his full name is Caraka Arkatama. He is a colleague who is as specialist as I am kak.”

Adya nodded her head in understanding and looked towards Tala who was only silent on her right. “You listen that it is a friend of your profession so naturally they are familiar you do not be jealous.” Adya said deliberately because she wanted to tempt both of them, especially Tala.

Tala cleared her throat, “mobile has arrived.” Tala said that was true and then carried Adya to sit in the back seat of the car. While Eve is stunned to hear Adya's words to Tala.

Adya smelled her smile when she saw Eve who was silent and Tala who was like a misbehavior was the assumption of Adya when she saw Tala's reaction. Tala walked closer to Eve, making Eve more nervous and biting her lips.

It turned out that Tala only wanted to fold the wheelchair that was near her. Without them realizing that Adya photographed an awkward interaction between the two and sent to Dhara's mother with the caption “anak and mother-in-law were misbehaving because I was seduced.”

After Tala put in Adya's wheelchair, Tala again walked towards the door instead but Adya swiftly moved to the seat next to her. “I want to sit here.” Adya, who is now sitting behind the driver.

Tala who saw that when she opened the car door sighed and she knew that Adya was working on it. Eve who saw Tala back to the side next to the car where Adya placed became confused why and what happened between the two.

Finally Tala could sit comfortably in the car and when Tala was about to close the car door and the car glass Adya held it. “I want to say goodbye to Eve.” Pinta Adya to make Tala just silent and resigned.

“Eve come home soon I want to tell you a lot and spend a lot of time with you. Not just me, but the three of us. Drug.” Pamit Adya and raise Tala's hand to do drugs to Eve.

Eve only smiled awkwardly at her because her husband's face was just flat and looking forward while the woman's face beside her was very cheerful looking very inversely proportional.

Eve returned to her room after taking her husband's first wife and husband home. “What is doctor Elakshi's relationship with that man and woman?” Ask the nurse who saw the interaction between Adya, Tala, and Eve in front of the hospital.

“Don't gossip too much if you're caught ending your history.” Raka's doctor's words made the nurse prance in shock along with a friend next to her. Doctor Raka gave her sweet smile seeing the reaction and the shocked expressions of the two nurses.

“Sorry doctor Raka.” Doctor Raka just nodded and stared at the receptionist to ask about the next activity and re-examine the patient data that will be operated on later.

Eve walked out of the hospital when the clock was four in the afternoon. Since she started working again Eve is not allowed to take night or morning shifts if Eve wants to leave.

Eve could only resign and accept that at least she was allowed to work rather than just inside the mansion sitting sweet. Not that Eve felt anything just that Eve wanted to give her dedication as a person who studied medicine before she gave up her degree later.

Eve slowly began to organize her life and what she did when she later divorced Tala. And it did not feel that the age of his marriage with Tala was one year.

Eve can vividly remember the day she married a man in her past one year ago. The cruel and spicy words Eve always heard every day let alone the sharp gaze that Tala gave to her every time Eve looked at her husband.

However, Eve is fortunate to receive genuine care and affection from Dhara's mother and Davka's father and Adya, which may not be possible after her divorce.

Not because she was too skeptical just that Eve did not want to expect too much more. Living a comfortable life without any demands makes Eve want to feel free from the shackles of big names that burden her.

Made like a doll and as a means of business exchange through marriage to save his adoptive family name who never considered him a part of them.

Then get out of the crocodile cage and into the lion cage. The marriage was so hard on the chest. Starting with her husband was the man in her past who hated her so much without wanting to hear any explanation from her.

Then the cold attitude of her husband and the loss of her two-month-old son due to her carelessness. The marriage that he lived more and more bland, although Tala was a little less sharp and spicy but the man's attitude made Eve could not stand and felt tormented. Therefore Tala was like that and Tala felt depressed there was her.

It was not that Eve did not know how Adya who kept repeatedly advising Tala to be gentle and attentive to him and ended up with debates and quarrels that occurred between the two.

Even Davka's father and Dhara's mother were unable to persuade Tala to be gentle and considerate to her. Eve knows how stubborn Tala is if she says no then the sentence continues to be no.

“Father can we go to the beach for a while I want to see the sunset and the sound of the waves.” Said Eve wanted to calm down before reaching the Werawan mansion.

The driver took Eve to the family-owned resort of Werawan where there is a beach near the resort to make room for the young Miss who looks not okay it.

Eve got out of the car and walked towards the bench facing the beach after previously removing her medical coat and bag along with her cell phone.

“Today is the wedding day where the young Miss and the young Master are held. It turns out that it has been a year since so much has passed Miss.” The driver looked at Eve sitting on the beach.

“Miss definitely felt mixed feelings inside her. It's not easy to get through, young Miss is very patient and very strong. So many trials that God gave him.”

The bodyguard recalled the incident where time in the salon was one day before Eve lost her fetus. Mocked for his status as an orphan adopted by a wealthy family and married off to save his adoptive family company.

Then losing the baby made the young Miss not the same as before even though the young Miss they loved kept smiling and cheerful but the eyes could tell everything that the bodyguard got from Eve's eyes.

Eve looked at the expanse of sand and waves that continued to chase and come to sweep the coast.

POV EVE

The waves are chasing each other to reach the coast. The beach continues to experience ups and downs. Sand is being dragged by the waves. The birds that adorn it above and the sun that will sink.

If I look at the horizon created by God, there are so many things I can learn and open the eyes of my heart and mind.

My mind sank thinking about what life would lead next and asking what would happen in the future.

Now all I can do is follow the path of God and try to be the man created by God as well as possible.

White and black will always be on every journey to tempt every human faith.

Twenty-six years old now I don't feel like I'm that old. Time passes by and life is filled with mystery every day.

“Huh, I missed brother Zee.” Eve misses Gulzar Adwitiya, her adoptive cousin. Ever since he brought his stuff out of the mansion Adwitya Eve never again saw his older cousin.

The driver and the bodyguard just stared in silence looking at their young Miss's shoulders trembling. It was not that they did not want to stop the sobs of their young Miss just that they wanted to make room for their young Miss.

“Eve always been lonely.” Eve Reve. “Do you know that Eve wants to disappear in this cruel world but Eve does not want to give sad and painful memories for people who are not much love Eve.”

“Eve is very weak right now and Eve needs a backrest and a hug, Brother Zee. Why didn't Brother Zee contact Eve.” Eve who cried until sobbing and hit her tight chest.

Eve got up from the occupied bench and walked slowly closer towards the sand that was almost eroded by the beach water due to the waves. Look at his feet that are exposed to sand. “See Eve's feet are dirty because of the attached sand. Wouldn't Brother Zee wouldn't let it if Eve's feet were dirty.”

Eve fell on the sand and Eve did not think about what if the bodyguard and driver saw her condition and told her husband. Eve wanted to vaporize the tightness that was shackled in her chest.

THE POV EVE OFF

The sun has set, which means that the day has been replaced by night. The stars and moon show themselves above the beach. Eve had been at the beach for three hours.

The worried bodyguard and driver finally approached Eve to tell her they had to return home.

Davka's father, Dhara's mother and Adya are already worried about Eve's condition even though they have told her that Eve is fine and wants to enjoy the atmosphere of the beach.

What they feared was that their young master would scold and say spicy things again to their Miss. While their Miss is in a mood that does not biak-al fine.

“The day is dark and the wind is getting stronger is not good for health. Miss also has to rest and take care of the patient tomorrow morning. We'd better go home soon Mr and the big lady is worried about Miss as well as the young Miss Adya.”

Eve nodded her head but before that. “Do I selfishly want to enjoy and free a little.” Eve muttered softly but the bodyguard could still hear her.

“Come Miss.” The guard previously attached his suit to Eve and shone in Eve's footsteps with a cell phone flashlight he held.

Eve got into the car and the bodyguards immediately closed the door and stared at Eve in silence. “Miss is not wrong to be selfish and to think about Miss's feelings and thoughts. Miss has sacrificed a lot, stay healthy and strong Miss facing a cruel world.”

Then the bodyguard opened the door next to the driver and the driver ran his car. Eve was only silent as her eyes looked outwards where things were very dark.

Arriving at the mansion the bodyguard opened the car door but he saw that Eve was asleep. Seeing that made the bodyguard confused. Because he was impossible to hold Eve because they were both women.

Asking for help to the other bodyguard is impossible because he knows how the character of their young master even though he does not like it if it is already his Young master does not like his being touched by others.

“Can you step aside let me be the fat one.” Said a man wearing a suit coldly to the bodyguard.

The bodyguard fell silent and stared intently at the foreign man who was boldly about to touch his young Miss. “Stop that hand of yours. Who are you.” The guards stopped the foreign man's hand that was about to hold Eve.

“I am his older cousin Gulzar Adwitya.” Gulzar said directly to the guards.

“Let's bodyguard let him be Young master Adwitya.” Said Dhara's mother in the back who saw how Eve's bodyguards were so strict in guarding Eve. That makes him happy.

The bodyguard apologized to Dhara's mother but not to Gulzar. Gulzar, who was holding Eve, did not touch her.

“Where is her room Mistress?” Gulzar asked when he reached the mansion.

“Put it on the sofa let me carry it.” Said Tala who had just arrived at the mansion from the outside.

“Mrs please tell me where is her room. She's not okay, her body is feverish now.” Gulzar said without heeding the words of Tala.

Dhara's mother immediately pointed at Adya's room and pointed at her. Gulzar laid Eve on her bed. “I want to ask the Madam to change her clothes and call a doctor for her immediately.” Gulzar said and soon Dhara's mother complied because she was worried about her daughter-in-law's health.

“I tell you keep your limits you're just a foster cousin. He is my business now.” Tala said as Gulzar came out of the room and was confronted by Tala.

“If you can take care of it properly then I won't mix it up. I tell you that you have to take good care of it.” Said Gulzar who was no less coldly staring at Tala.

Gulzar immediately left after previously giving a necklace on Eve's neck and it was certain that no one noticed.

Time continues to roll every day Tala is getting busy with his office affairs and busy taking care of Adya whose illness is getting worse even Tala rarely goes home to the mansion. Tala would sleep in Adya's nursery or not in the office if Adya told her to go home to the mansion.

“Our sister tomorrow has to leave for S country to undergo treatment there. There the doctor and his hospital are adequate.” Tala.

“No I don't want to. I want to be here only.” Strictly Adya refused to make Tala dizzy.

“But sister's condition is getting worse here.” Tala said she felt frustrated.

“I don't want to, I don't want to. I just want them to be great doctors, too. Remember that life has already been arranged. I want to be here with Eve, dad, mom and you here not to go abroad. I'm tired Tala don't you understand hah.” Said Adya who had tears in her eyes.

“Toh it's the same I'll keep dying sooner or later. If you force me then I won't do anything there.” Threatening Adya who was frustrated it also of course made Tala very upset and wanted to be angry to hear it.

The biggest reason Adya wants to be treated in country K is because she does not want the occurrence of Eve miscarriages to repeat again just because everyone is worried and caring for her is not with Eve. Tala can only resign when Adya does not want to go to the S country to undergo treatment. While Eve is busy with her patient affairs and Eve will accompany Adya in her ward if Eve is busy again and it will make Tala out if there is Eve. Eve was silent even though she was sad and tried to be ordinary.

Tala came out of Adya's room and saw Eve standing in front of Adya's door. “You're satisfied huh. Why don't you just experience it.” Tala said with a stab at Eve who heard her speechless and shed her tears.

In the hospital Eve did not say much and much moody made the doctor Raka who saw her sigh. “What are you thinking Eve?” Ask the Raka doctor who has not called Eve with a doctor's puff or with her first name.

Eve smiled shaking her head. “You see it's raining. What rain does not get tired yes if they continue to fall and get sick not to mention getting the oath of wedlock by humans who sometimes do not want it. But still the rain gives grace and still fall even though it hurts.” Doctor Raka.

Eve looked at Doctor Raka and smiled hearing that. “Don't be sad there's so much happiness that can be seen the wheel keeps turning. You can tell me your burden now we are friends.” Raka's doctor said and made Eve nod her head.

“You can tell me if you're ready I'm always there when you need.” Eve chuckles to hear it and thanks doctor Raka who comforts her.
