CHAPTER 39. Where is Eve?
Tala walked with her cold and flat face towards the ward of Werawan's grandfather.
From far away Tala saw Adya sitting in the waiting room along with the bodyguards who were prepared to keep Adya there.
Adya turned her head when she heard the sound of knocking shoes on the hospital floor.
Moreover, the hallway on this floor is very quiet because this hallway is very private and only used for Werawan extended family.
Adya stood up and looked towards Tala as Adya's eyes glanced back like looking for someone. "Where's Eve?" Adya asked looking into Tala's eyes.
Tala just kept quiet and watched. "Why do you stand up later you get tired quickly sit down." Tala said without heeding Adya's question.
"Where's Eve?" Adya asked back without listening to what Tala had told her to sit down.
"Didn't you hear your husband's words." Tala said coldly Adya who saw him staring into Tala's eyeballs then immediately obeyed Tala's orders.
"Now I'm sitting down. Where is Eve?" Ask Adya for the third time.
"Why do you ask where he is. He can take care of it yourself better you just focus on your health okay." Say Tala softly but flatly.
"Mom said you brought Eve. But, why after you came back didn't you bring Eve again?" Tanya Adya asked for an answer from Tala.
Tala sighed. "I don't know." Speech Tala briefly clear and dense.
Of course Adya who heard it would not be satisfied and still demand an answer from her question. "Why is it so hard to just answer when. Where is Eve?" Ask Adya who has started grumbling annoyed.
"She was on rooftoftoft and crying there." Answer someone behind Tala and make Adya and Tala turn to the origin of the sound source.
Adya stared flat at the woman who was none other than Geya Werawan. "What have you done?" Adya asked and looked sharply at Geya.
"This time it's not me. I swear." Said Geya with her cynical smile.
Adya looked back at Tala who was silent. "What made Eve cry?" Ask Adya.
"I don't know." Tala replied again it feels Adya really upset with the attitude Tala showed to Eve.
Adya sighed for a moment not good nor did she scold her husband in front of others especially now there is a cousin of her husband who is very disliked himself and Eve.
"Why are you still here?" Tanya Adya looked towards Geya.
While Geya raised her eyebrows when the question was addressed to her. "Of course to see grandfather. I haven't seen Grandpa yet." Geya replied casually.
But in his heart Geya was eager to tear Adya's mouth apart and put out her spicy words to Adya.
But, Geya had to hold him back because there was Tala near them.
"Why are you still here and not coming in?" Adya asked back with a smile.
Geya was sick of seeing it and Geya was forced to return Adya's smile. "Here I just went in, brother. Aren't you guys coming in?" Ask Geya.
"Not us later, it's not good if there are too many people while grandfather needs enough rest." Adya.
Adya saw Geya who had entered into the nursery of grandfather sighs and then looked at Tala who had been silent since. "Now explain to me what made Eve cry." Adya Pinta.
"I don't know." Replied Tala who had just replied that she did not know.
"What are you guys talking about Tala. You didn't press Eve for receiving a will from grandfather asking Eve to become a doctor in her operating room in case of an emergency, right?" Adya asked while looking at Tala's face and expression.
"Why do you always defend him not grandfather, mother and father why do you always defend him?" Ask Tala.
"Are you unable to see it or have your heart's eyes been covered so you can't see it?" Ask Adya back.
"Huh, my eyes are wide open and so is my heart." Speak Tala with a cynical prefix in her sentence.
"No, Tala your heart's eyes are covered by your own selfishness. If it's open then you won't be cold and don't care about Eve." Adya.
"What if Eve can't stand you anymore and asks to separate from you. You'll be so sorry." Adya.
"I don't care." Speak Tala that emphasizes every word he says.
Adya shook her head as she did not get out of thought with what Tala said.
"Many men out there love Eve and are ready to take Eve away from you at any time. And you he is by your side and close to you and you have a sacred bond now. Don't waste Eve." Adya advised Tala.
"Why are you getting more and more chatty." Tala said while Adya rolled her eyes lazily.
Adya knows that now Tala does not want and does not accept advice from anyone including himself especially if it is related to Eve.
However, if not reminded Adya does not know when else he can remind Tala and talk freely about Eve.
His health is increasingly unstable every day even now he has to wear false hair and his body is getting weaker.
"Huh." Adya breathed tired. "Not until you're sorry. And don't because your selfishness makes you regret it later."
After saying that to Tala, Adya asked her bodyguards to push her wheelchair and enter into the ward of Werawan's grandfather.
Tala looked at Adya who went into her grandfather's ward
"Honey where's Eve?" Ask Dhara's mother when she only saw Adya and the first daughter-in-law's bodyguard come in. Because Dhara's mother had invited Adya to enter and Adya wanted to wait for Eve.
Adya looked towards Dhara's mother and the door opened showing Tala fresh in.
"Tala, where's Eve?" Ask Dhara's mother who sees that there is only Tala himself. Tala took Eve away with her hand.
Tala cleared her throat and stared at Dhara's mother, Davka's father and Werawan's grandfather and then Adya's last.
"She's got a mom's emergency job." Tala and Adya replied, just silently listening.
Dhara's mother seems dissatisfied but Davka's father warns Dhara's mother to hold him back because here there is still a family of his sister who is very disliked by her two daughters-in-law.
